Superbe musée pour les amoureux des jouets.
Definitely worth the visit if you're in Brussels and have a few hours to spare. They have the most beautiful collection of instruments and they give you a headset so you can listen to the instruments which was great! I loved this museum visit ❤️
A trip of senses ! The Audio guide is amazing !! I could have spent the whole day in the museum ! I have seen several instrument museums in the past but nothing comparable to that depth
Nous avons été déçus de la vétusté de ce musée. Nous n’avions pas pris la peine de lire les commentaires avant de venir. Oui, il y a un beau panel de jouets et cela nous rappelle des chouettes souvenirs, mais ça s’arrête là. Rien d’interactif, ce sont juste des figurines dans des vitrines et l’endroit sent la poussière. Un musée du jouet où on ne peut pas jouer, quel dommage. Je cite notre fils de 5 ans et demi : « Ce musée est ridicule. »
Leuke bezienswaardigheden in dit vrij kleine museum. Viel hierdoor wel wat duur uit wat prijs / kwaliteit betrefd. Vriendelijk personeel.
One of the best natural history museums I've been to, and I go to a lot. Most information is provided in 4 languages. It's very interactive with games and activities, as well as touchscreens with information about the exhibits themselves. I particularly liked the information about ethical collecting, and how the museum itself has not always gone about things 100% ethically but now strives to do so and to educate others on the topic. My favourite part was the temporary "Giants" exhibition, which had life size sculptures of some extinct megafauna incorporating their fossilized remains. It had lots of info about each of the featured animals. The museum was pretty empty when I went other than some school groups, and I would definitely recommend going at quieter times if possible so that you can do the activities and games without waiting.
it was kinda boring and long but some of it was fun, especially where you could play like uh games about the environment. you could also play this game thing where you got some animal papers things but also some really high quality dinosaur stickers out of like fabric which i have on my computer now👍👍
Great museum, so much to see, it would take a full day to do it thoroughly. I really appreciated that everything had an English option to read/listen to. Loads of interactive activities that are really informative. It's super kid friendly if you have them, the kids I saw seemed to be having a blast. Thoroughly enjoyed an afternoon here!

Super leuk, verrassend, vlakbij centraal station. Leuk bezoekje met de kids en als souvenir knettergekke foto's.

Je betaalt heel veel geld voor eigenlijk 2 of 3 leuke foto's, voor de rest voelde je je opgejaagd en de ruimtes zijn zodanig klein dat je half van de tijd in een rij bent aan het wachten dan eigelijk de illusies te zien. Ook geen uitleg van hoe of waarom de illusie werkt.
Super fijne ervaring gehad, leuke foto's kunnen maken, dankjewel aan mona die ons de uitleg heeft gegeven en met de foto's heeft geholpen 💕

Enigste probleem is, dat er ENORM veel volk is, er waren veel te veel mensen waardoor je echt soms moet wachten en je niet overal foto's kunt trekken...
Als ik het kan aanraden, zau ik reservaties inschakelen want er waren zo veel mensen waardoor het niet leuk meer was.

Le Toy Discovery Museum est un lieu unique, et le partage de l'extraordinaire collection de jouets de toute une vie. A l'image de son créateur, le photographe et grand reporter Richard Blin, il est foisonnant, s'intéresse à tous les thèmes, toutes les époques. Quand je l'ai visité, à l'occasion d'une séance de dédicaces, j'ai pu voir les visages réjouis de parents qui retrouvaient leurs jouets, et l'émerveillement de leurs enfants. Deux générations avec de grands sourires sur leurs visages. Alors oui, si comme moi vous aimez les présentations bien ordonnées, vous serez peut-être un peu déconcerté parfois par le mélange des différentes gammes de jouets dans certaines vitrines, mais peu importe : ce qui compte, c'est l'impression générale d'explorer une merveilleuse caverne d'Ali-Baba remplie de jouets collectors, souvent rares et quelquefois même rarissimes. Le musée est en constante amélioration, c'est un projet de passion et de partage, alors si vous avez des suggestions à faire, adressez-les par mail à son équipe, qui sera ravie d'avoir votre feedback et vos encouragements. Cette belle initiative mérite d'être soutenue, et si vous aimez les jouets, vous passerez un moment très agréable cet endroit réellement unique au monde.

Het was een heel leuke ervaring ! Het was niet al te druk wat het ook fijn maakt om op je gemak foto’s te nemen. De illusies bleven zelfs na het bezoek hangen😂! Graag wil ik Anass bedanken voor het bezoek zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken !
