### "Review of Antalya Toy Museum"

I recently visited the Antalya Toy Museum and would rate it a 3/5. The museum has a unique concept dedicated to toys, which is charming and can be enjoyable for families and collectors alike. However, I found that there wasn't much that stood out in terms of exhibits.
• Free Entry
One positive aspect is that entry to the museum is free, making it an accessible option for those exploring Antalya. It’s a great way to spend some time without any cost.
• Air Conditioning
The air conditioning was excellent, providing a comfortable environment, especially during the hot summer months. This made our visit much more pleasant, allowing us to take our time exploring.
• Ventilation Issues
However, I noticed that ventilation in some areas was lacking. Certain sections felt a bit stuffy, which detracted from the overall experience. Better airflow would improve the comfort level for visitors.
• Small Collection
The collection itself was relatively small, which was somewhat disappointing. While there were some interesting toys on display, I expected a larger variety to fully capture the essence of a toy museum.

Wonderful small museum of modern art with frequently updated and interesting exposition. I also advise you to go up to the 5th floor to the museum's cafe, where you can enjoy an incredible view of the city and the sea.
30 TRY for a small museum situated on the top floor of a restored house from Antalya Old Town.
On top of that, there was also a very interesting coin and monetary exposition in an adjacent building.
Totally worth the visit, but if you’re into coins, money and history make sure you have enough time on your hands.

We went to a beautiful Habip Aydogu exhibition on our honeymoon last year in August (2023). Very professional. Would certainly recommend to tourists in Antalya would love art and culture and are looking for an air conditioned activity 😅

Very nice museum about classic Turkish culture. i was tricked at first, but the museum comes in 2 parts. Don’t forget to go to the garden to see the other part and the tombs. The more classic area during the ottoman period is the part that is down and the part about the more modern turkish culture is in the upper part of the museum.

Cool open air museum, the name when you arrive is slightly different. Nice staff and great artwork. There is a sand playground and a cafe in the museum
It is a great place to hide from the heat and broaden your mind.
The exposition was closed, but the shop and the cafeteria were open. The Turkish coffee and the sweets were a delight.

Ok so i saw the 1 stars and almost all of them is wrong BUT the toilets, we went there in the morning, and after we bought the tickets they said we could come here at night also!
The good thing was the sculptures are so cool! One of them was 7 whole meters. They said it was better in the dark so after morning we came there for FREE, after that we went on but instead of the morning time there was lighting over the sand scruptures!
Another thing is that there was a telescope where you could see the moon at night and sometimes even saturn!
The bad thing is that sometimes if it's cloudy the telescope won't be there so plan the time when it's clear.
The worse thing is the toilets ARE THE WORST it's smelled and looked awful, at least there were a playground and a little description video explaining the place.
Overall it was such a fun experience.

Small well maintained museum in the heritage town.
The exhibit was amazing. The sculptures were done by very talented people.
We enjoyed visiting, I love anything space-themed so it was a treat! Some of the statues are a bit dilapidated hence 4 stars

Visited with kids. This year's theme is Space. They have created many sculptures to show human inquisition, attempts to go to space over the years, and fun references to pop culture. It's best going early in the morning, or late in the afternoon to spend quality 1-1.5 hours.
The ticket prices are higher at entrance than listed online . So it's better to buy tickets in advance.

Atatürk, the Great Leader, visited Antalya on March 6th, 1930. on February 10th, 1931 and on February 18th, 1935. 🇹🇷 He stayed in this two-storey mansion in Yeni Kapı, which was provided by the people of Antalya and public enterprises. I saw this place by accident and was surprised it was free to enter it had pictures of all toys from history starting with the 1880s to now , really impressive and clean and for all that to be free it’s incredible , thank you

An interesting, though small museum dedicated to Kemal Mustafa Ataturk. Its collection might not be very large, but for those interested in the history of Turkey and the achievements of this outstanding leader, it is definitely worth a visit. It is not the original building where Kemal stayed during his two visits to Antalya (in 1930 and 1935), but the exhibits are authentic. Highly recommended, admission is free.
Antalya Kaleiçi’nde modern müzecilik anlayışı ile 1990’lı yıllarda ziyarete açılmış bu müze, korunması gerekli kültür varlığı olarak tescilli bir Antalya evi ve bir kilisenin Suna ve İnan Kıraç tarafından restore edilmesi ile turizme kazandırılmış.
Oldukça şık şekilde restore edilmiş, bakımlı iki binanın ilkinde, eski zamanlarda Antalya’daki yaşayışa dair figürler ve eşyalar ile açıklamalar görülüyor. İkinci binada ise çeşitli dünya ülkelerinin paralarının hayvan figürleri ile ilintisi ortaya konmuş. İkinci binanın balkon/ asma katında eski zamanlarda Antalya’da yoğurt, helva, salep, mum, ciğer gibi çok çeşitli ürünleri satan sokak satıcılarının maketleri yeralıyor. Tüm müze görmeye değer, ama sokak satıcılarının maketlerinin olduğu bölüm bana ayrı bir şirin göründü.
Türkiye tarihine ilgi duyuyor ve müze gezmeyi seviyorsanız tavsiye edilir. Giriş 30 TL. Ziyaretçiler için müzenin içinde tertemiz, modern lavabolar da yeralıyor.

Great free place to visit as a respite from the heat of Old Harbor. Not even a gift shop! Interesting if you know something about old toys - not much in the way of descriptions or stories about the toys.

Ataturk slept at this mansion for a total of seven nights across three years. Some artifacts to see and some signs to read. Good thing it's free.

Відвідав цей музей раптово, не плануючи. Цікаве місце, гарне, зроблено з душею, ціна відвідуваня 10 лір, що досить дешево, як для музеїв Туреччини. Чистий туалет в наявності, приємний дворик в старому місті. Експозиція не велика проте цікава, особливо частина, де розповідається про торговців вуличних, і інших працівників, зроблено з повагою. Сподіваюсь, що експонатів буде більше. Успіхів. Як матимете час, відвідайте.
It's surprising but nobody meets you at the entrance, nobody sells tickets... There were 2 guides busy with other tourists, so I was left unnoticed. The museum is tiny, in my opinion. Expositions aren't impressive.

Haritalar üzerinde tesadüfen gördüm ve girmek istedim. Antalya'daki diğer müzelerin aksine burada giriş ücreti var ve 10 TL ancak bahçesinde oturup dinlenebilir, lavaboyu kullanabilirsiniz. Bahçede ayrıca birkaç tane priz var, akşam yola çıkacağım için burada dinlenirken telefonumu şarj etme ve dinlenme fırsatı da buldum.
Eskiden bir kilise olan bu binayı İnan Kıraç, eşi Suna Kıraç adına satın almış ve müze haline getirmiş. İkinci binanın üst katındaki eserler daha ilgi çekici.

It was fascinating to see the sculptures. I would have liked to have seen an artist making the figure just to be sure it was really made from sand.

Paid 750 TLR for 3 people from the Sandlands website and we were done in under 30 mins. It’s really quick to walk around and see the sculptures. We went on a weekday in the early afternoon. There was no one there so no crowds and no lines to wait.

It is a quite museum. There isn't much historical artifacts but so many information about Mevlana and his cult. The person who is taking care of the place was so nice to me. He even took me a place when I asked for advice to have breakfast nearby. A little bit more artifact would help tho.
Incredible and it's right next to Yivli Minare.The museum is interesting and is not time consuming so you should come here any time you visit antalya.Btw the location on the map is wrong.
