El ambiente del local es acogedor y el personal muy amable. La comida es exquisita y de calidad,hecha con amor. Puedo decir que es uno de los mejores sitios que he probado en Dublín.

Fuimos al menú de Brunch/Lunch y compartimos un Open Steak Sandwich y una Side de Rocket, aged balsamic reduction, cherry tomatoes and Parmesan VG y de postre Almond Brownie.
La carne realmente jugosa y sabrosa y la ensalada muy fresca. Y para los amantes del Brownie, es un must! Buena cantidad.

Volveremos a probar el menú de noche y recomendamos 100%

Realmente lo disfrutamos mucho, gracias a Roger Pianosi nuestro camarero y al equipo!

Very cute place for breakfast. Very good service. Just good people serving food.

Absolutely loved this place! We went here for brunch and I had the crepes which was fantastic! I highly recommend them. My husband had the full Irish breakfast which was also amazing! It is small and not many tables so make sure you go at a good time or have time to wait if need be. We went during the week and early morning so we managed to get a table. There is one toilet there for male and female which was clean. Service was great and very friendly. Highly suggest this place if you’re in the area!

Enjoyed a sandwich and a nice glass of wine and a nice chat with staff here on a recent sunny day recently. ( we have had a couple of sunny days in Dublin this year). Staff were very nice. Would recommend.

I ordered a coffee walnut cake with chocolate ganache for my husband's birthday. It was delicious, and the staff were incredibly accommodating with my request. Very good experience overall!

A return visit, but a disappointing one. Long wait before being served, more than 20mins. Food OK but not worth the wait, as there are plenty more options in the area.

So glad we chose to eat here! Service was excellent, our waiter and the chef were very accommodating. The food was delicious!! Absolutely loved my whipped feta & eggs, potato & eggs, and Irish tea were great as well. Highly recommend!

We loved this breakfast place. It was the first place we went to on our first day and my husband’s definite favorite of the entire trip! Between our group we had the Irish breakfast, breakfast sandwich, crepes with Nutella and strawberries, and pancakes with blueberries. Delicious! The staff was super friendly. We all got a different coffee that was also good. Short walk to St. Patrick’s cathedral.

Super leckeres Frühstück. Ein sehr freundliches Team serviert hier tolle Speisen, die mehr als satt machen und gesund sind. Sehr empfehlenswert.

I popped in to the Cake Cafe last Saturday looking for a table for one. There was a bit of a wait outside but because the staff were so kind, accommodating, and warm it went by super quickly and I was eventually seated and enjoyed my breakfast! Food is always good and fresh and David the manager/owner makes you feel as though you’re having coffee at his own home :)

Great selection of cakes and coffees with a super brunch/lunch menu available as well. The staff are on the edge of Uber cool and, while service is not super fast it is well worth the extra time.
For those rarer days when sunshine is both abundant and warm, there is some great outdoor seating.

The best pancakes in town turned into a portion of a scabby waffle (single!). This place is off my destination list until the pancakes are back!!! 😔

It’s a cosy place but I can’t recommend it for lunch (haven’t tried their breakfast but probably won’t after today’s food).
I ordered a salad with roasted cauliflower - there weren’t many ingredients in it on the menu but it sounded nice and healthy.
I was served tired looking cauliflower and spinach with no dressing. When asked for some dressing got a weird tasting tahini sauce (had no tahini taste whatsoever, just a sugary paste). Had to ask for some olive oil - that took a while. And then I received regular vegetable oil as if it’s olive oil.
Finally, I tried the cauliflower and it was shockingly rubbery and hardly edible (I did eat some just because I was hungry).
My husband’s vegan wrap was hardly better - supermarket guacamole when avocado was promised, no hummus though promised, no roasted peppers - just a wrap with more rubbery cauliflower).

Tasty brunches, they didn't spare on toppings. We had to wait for a table (no reservation on weekends), but it was worth waiting. Brownie was also good, but not extraordinary.

The jukebox and the little wooden tables are adorable, and the place is cute even though it has been neglected (there was a water leak from the ceiling that ended up in a bucket). all readily forgotten due to how delicious the pancakes were. The ones with Baileys and the chocolate banana and strawberry were really good. the cappuccinos lacking some vigour.

I really wanted to like Goose on the Loose. I'd walked by one day and saw the prices and promised to come back. Came today with 2 friends for brunch and to say we were disappointed would be an understatement. Please don't get me wrong, the ambience is lovely, the staff genuinely seemed to be trying their best with what they had but I can't say a nice thing past that.

Our 40 + minute wait for food, considering the size of the restaurant, was what started the downward trend. Then I was told 30 minutes after ordering that what I had ordered was unavailable due to lack of one of the ingredients. Then my replacement meal (that I chose) came and maybe it was the size of the plate to the scale of what was on it, but my first thought was- could have stayed at home.

I think Loose on the Goose is a cosy little spot in city centre, but I wouldn't come here for food. Maybe a coffee or the crepes (which I didn't have but seemed really popular). If you want a MEAL I'd look elsewhere.

Another perspective: This is one of the friends here, I was completely disappointed in what I was served. I ordered the Irish breakfast. Visually, it looks good so I'll commend them on the presentation. But when I ate the pudding, all I can say is that it tasted like it was microwaved. It was just mushy with no crust on the outside. If you want to order an Irish breakfast. Look the other way and don't waste your money.

Had the Irish breakfast and omelet here, really enjoyed it. Service was very good, no complaints. Really good cappuccinos as well. I'd be interested in trying other items.

I ordered an Eggs Benedict along with a portion of rashers. €14,50
I receive 2 burned rashers from them. €3,50.

Overcooked eggs were intended to resemble showering yolks. The hollandaise sauce was not at all like a true hollandaise sauce.

There is nothing bad to say about coffee.

What's going on with you guys? The standards are tumbling down.

Super leckeres Frühstück und netter Service. Die Musik war aber zu laut und es wurde schnell abgeräumt. Wir hatten ein bisschen das Gefühl, dass wir gehen sollten.

Das Frühstück war super, wir haben es sehr genossen hier zu essen.

Netter Laden, mit sehr leckerem Essen und guten Portionsgrößen. Die Pancakes sind zu empfehlen.

Tolles gemütliches Café mit sehr netter Bedienung und einer leckeren (ausgefallenen) Auswahl!

Sehr schönes Café mit einer super Auswahl an Frühstück und brunch. Hervorragender Kaffee und eine entspannte Atmosphäre, die zum verweilen einlädt.
