Service was a bit slow as they were quite busy, but as an Aussie it was totally worth it for the Aussie treats. They sell Tim tams, cherry ripes and lamingtons! Personally I prefer my lamingtons without jam but if you like the jam ones then you'll be very happy here.
Quite possibly the best value for money! Under £7 for a fry-up including toast and tee. None of this added cost malarky. It’s saved as a favourite place. I’ll be back!

Corn fritters were ok but on the exxy side for the portion. The halloumi accompanying the fritters was absolutely perfect though. Service was efficient but not particularly warm.
Grind is my favorite coffee/brunch place in Shoreditch! I moved here recently, and it has become my everyday spot. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, the food is AMAZING and the latte is great every time. I highly recommend the one pan eggs. It is such a fun spot to get some work done or people watch. I have had Joyce as a waitress a few times, she always has a smile on her face and very attentive to whatever anyone needs. This place ROCKS!

Lovely atmosphere, food was fantastic and our server Roda was wonderful and so bubbly!

Major complain is the 14% service charge on top of already quite expensive food.
Food itself was tasy, however there was much chicken with the French toast and alot of it was just the crispy batter.

Me and my friend came to luxx on arthur’s guestlist through our promoter Enrikas! We had the best time and came back the following week. A great place for a night out, lovely staff and good music :)
Food was tasty just a bit expensive for the amount of food you get. The pork bowl I ordered as well as the salmon poke was quite small in portion size.
Service was good. No complaints there. The atmosphere isn’t anything very special just standard for a restaurant of that variety.

Went there for brunch for Easter Sunday and we ordered the Shakshuka and one of their many breakfast options (I forgot the name of it but, goodness it was amazing! The honey and feta was a game changer for me)
Not to mention the pastures from the cafe was super good as well The croissant was the size of my hand!! Super flavourful and flakey pastries. (Pictured: Almond pastry, croissant and cinnamon bun)

Lovely brunch spot, excellent coffee and the food portion sizes were generous. Good varied menu and although I didn't try one the pastries look amazing 😍

Jess was amazing! She was extremely kind and attentive. The food was awesome we all had the Grind breakfast with ginger shots (delish!) and the fresh orange juice. Best service and breakfast yet on our holiday to London.
Great coffee every time and broad selection of pastry and snacks. I also get my filter papers from here whenever I need. Best coffee shop.

Food - I ordered the Gruber and my son ordered the Tuna Mayo sourdough grilled cheese with a hot chocolate and a fresh orange juice. It was very filling and tasty. I told the staff that I love pickles and they gave me some fresh extra pickles on the side which was lovely!!

We had an excellent brunch with coffee on Sunday (24 March). All was delicious. Dishes are clearly made by a well trained team. I complemented the staff on my way out and was told that the 3 Lantana restaurants are still under the wing of the same family. Lovely.
I came here with a promoter and expected it to be a normal club experience. The entire club is tables with promoters (no people there who weren’t with promoters) and zero place to dance or talk to other people. I feel like you can’t even call this place a club because there’s no places to be other than your personal tables. Super weird experience.
Lovely atmosphere in this branch of Grind. We were served by Roda - who may I add made our experience 10x better. Super accommodating and always smiling. She was also happy to check up on us and helped us efficiently. Will definitely be returning as this was one of the best customer service experiences i’ve had.

Busy cafe with friendly service and great coffee
Very good coffee and breakfast/brunch. A daily stop on our holiday in London!
Was looking for a cute cafe to study in on a Saturday morning and found Kybelle! The atmosphere is so chill, the staff are so friendly and of course the food and coffee are delicious. Almond croissants are my absolute favourite, I managed to snatch the last one and it was so so good (and absolutely huge). The atmosphere has been so lovely to chat, study and just enjoy. Didn’t eat a full meal this time but all the food (hash browns especially) smell so good. Will definitely drop by again!
Such a great breakfast, the French toast and huevos rancheros were super tasty, and their hash browns are a must. Jess and Lula were so welcoming and created a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, we will definitely be back.
Such a lovely place for brunch. No laptops on weekends which is completely understandable but it does seem like a great study space. Got the Halloumi and Avocado roll with chilli jam and a bunch of other yummy fillings. Would 100% recommend, it was a perfect light brunch that made me full but not sluggish. will be returning!
Had a quick brunch here on a Monday. After reading the reviews honestly we expected something better. Food was OK, service was rather Berlin style with a touch of grim and lebensschmerz, the toilet was even worse. It’s OK for once but would not repeat.

Food was great and the atmosphere was good. I thought the 12.5% service charge was a bit rich (and not explained) when we had to go up and order and pay ourselves at the counter. I'm not even sure we'd know if we hadn't asked for a receipt. There was no real service, as such until we had our food. Would visit again but I'd question the fee.

We came here on a Friday morning, it wasn’t too busy. Ordered the Medi Breakfast along with hash browns. Everything was delicious! Avocado mash was a bit too limey but overall fantastic breakfast for two since the portion is really big. Great for breakfast!
Nice place and nice people. Good coffee and generous food. I asked for food which usually they only sell for take-out or sit outside. They let me stay inside (twas cold). And brought me a saucer and spoon with brown sauce. Recommended! Better than some of the glitzier local options near the continuous building-site that is Old Street.

I had such a lovely time at Kybelle Cafe. I ordered an oat vanilla latte which was so delicious and hot, and a big croissant that made my day!!! I really recommend this cafe for anyone wanting a great cafe atmosphere that offers lovely customer service.
Thought I had already left a review for this fantastic place! I have been coming here for a long time and have always had the same consistency in food, it’s always bloody delicious! It’s fresh and it’s good price for the quality of food you are getting.

this is an incredibly chill cafe. Mediterranean inspired menu, let me tell you, it's freaking amazing. the atmosphere is SOOOO relaxing. piano music is my favorite. I highly recommend you at least come and try this place. food portions are amazingly huge.

The best experience we’ve had clubbing, our host David made sure we were comfortable at all times and made sure everything was perfect at all times. He was so helpful and friendly, if you’re coming to London you need to go, amazing atmosphere and a really fun night out, thanks again to David for all his help and to the staff you made our nights amazing!
I spent last Saturday night at Luxx in Mayfair for my birthday. I had a fantastic evening with my friends thanks especially to David who really organized everything wonderfully! Plus, he made sure we were having fun throughout the evening, really helpful and nice! I will definitely be back!! Xx

Grande location, ottima pedonalizzazione. Ci siamo imbattuti per caso frequentando una delle aree urbane a forte sviluppo (Cellini, Arc,...). Caffetteria di qualità non abbinata ad una croissanteria/pasticceria di altrettanto spessore. Personale gentile ed empatico. Ci rivediamo di sicuro!!
This is always super busy and it is very popular, that's why it took me so long to give it a try. But when I was passing by it was quiet, I wanted a coffee and chill for a while so I've decided to give it a go. Had a white americano and it was a nice for a coffee break.
What a little ripper of a Caff - we were staying around the corner and were both surprised and delighted to find this little Gem in the middle of London. The owners were lovely and the expresso everything you want with a little bit of jet lag setting in. The servings were hot tasty and generous and very reasonable. Highly recommended.
We booked two guys and they told us it was 50 pounds per person, in the end they charged us 120 in total.. Inside there was a very good atmosphere in general. There wasn't even one ugly girl! They were all pretty! incredible ! We had a great time, the security and especially a girl at the bar were very good! The 4 star rating is because they charged us 120 pounds and said it was 100.

The only club in Mayfair I keep going to and absolutely loved being at Luxx for the New Years Eve event 24’. Kudos to David for sorting us the best night and being so welcoming. Definitely recommend going through him for zero disappointments and having the best time ever!

Came here for a work breakfast and it was phenomenal. The menu is incredible, so many good options to choose from, and the food came out quickly. Will definitely be coming back!
Great coffee and food. I’ve loved this place since I moved here 10 years ago but what was exceptional was the service from our waitress Roda who was incredibly kind, friendly and attentive when we needed to customize our orders. She’s probably the best server I’ve ever had- she made our visit on this occasion extra special :)
I would highly recommend the grilled cheese, I had the breakfast burrito which was also delicious but it was premade so hard to customize.
It gets busy at peak hours so expect to queue.

I don't write reviews much, but the bar is getting so low in London that I was very pleasantly surprised by how great Lantana was! We went early (9:30am) on a Saturday, so it was quite quiet but got busier as time went on. The service was great - attentive but not annoying - the food lovely and very filling, and even the toilets were spotless! There's not many places I don't resent for having a service charge over 10% (and it's a pretty eye-watering 14% here) but I'd probably have left that much even if it hadn't been added already.
Ein süßes Museum, man hat sich hier wirklich Mühe gegeben. Ich finde jedoch, dass es mehr für Kinder ist, aber es ist trotzdem auch als Erwachsener schön.
I had a delightful brunch at Attendant Coffee Roasters! The no-fuss atmosphere and healthy, moreish options made my morning. The place is bathed in sunlight, with plenty of greenery that's sure to wake you up. A perfect spot for a relaxed and delicious start to the day!
On cherchait un bon brunch à faire dimanche et c’est chose faite ! Le café est très bon, à l’image des cafés australiens. Côté plats salés, nous avons également bien mangé, c’était savoureux.

Coffee is pretty decent, probably best in the immediate area. Downside is that service was pretty slow, there was no queue and I ordered right away. But it took exactly 12 minutes to make my coffee. This is probably down to the equipment and prior orders the guys are busy with, but they would have to improve on this since this is not the place to go if you’re in a hurry.
Lovely cafe that serves specialty coffee. There are different beans you can choose from and they have amazing Aus pastries as well.
Tolles Museum es gibt viel zu sehen. Die Mitarbeitenden waren sehr freundlich. Das einzige was verbessert werden könnte, man sollte den Preis auf eine Tageskarte anpassen, auch als Tourist gibt es nur die Möglichkeit für eine Jahreskarte. (24£)
Wir waren überrascht, wie klein das Lokal ist. Aber das Essen schmeckt super, Service ist sehr freundlich und die Preise sind sehr günstig.
Völlig confuses Konzept, wer gerne trotzdem in überfüllten Räumen ist ist hier dennoch richtig Ticket im Voraus kaufen bringt auch keine Zeitersparnis und die interessanten Events kosten nochmal extra.
Das London Transport Museum ist einen Besuch wert. Leider war keine der besonderen Führungen in den Untergrund verfügbar als wir dort waren, aber schon die Standard Ausstellung ist sehr gut und vermittelt den verdienten stolz auf das Londoner öffentliche Verkehrsnetz und seine Geschichte.
I am very surprised with few bad comments. I feel so sorry to hear all the personal experiences they had but this club is only one survived for many years in mayfair. I’ve been going to this club since I was in university. Only one club also allow Asian people to organize their party and I see many Asian in management team, never experienced anything bad. Hopefully people come back to the place and enjoy their night out 🥂
Super nette Leute, ein mega gutes original englisches Frühstück zu einem guten Preis. Hier stimmt Preis/Leistungsverhältnis für deutsche Touristen. Beim nächsten London-Besuch kommen wir gerne wieder 😃
Pretty good quality breakfast. Good vibe. Decent coffee and nice staff. Good variety menu. Would definitely go again. Probably a 4.5 stars. Better than 4. Not quite a 5.
Cannot recommend this place enough. A gem on Essex Road. We turned up for dinner and were warmly greeted. The service was very pleasant, the restaurant was nicely decorated and the music wasn’t loud. We ordered several dishes and all of them were fantastic. The pork belly (which I didn’t take a picture of) was very moist and the salsa on it wasn’t overpowering. The truffle cheese puffs were incredible. I haven’t eaten anything like them yet. The deep fried langosh bread with garlic yoghurt Parmesan and za’atar was better than the langosh we ate in Budapest. It was beautifully light, yet crisp. Finally, the ricotta, honey and figs were also fantastic. The prices and portions were reasonable. I haven’t got anything negative to say at all, so if you want to eat some delicious, yet affordable food, in a welcoming setting, please visit!

Dieses wirklich empfehlenswerte Museum zeigt die spannende Entwicklung des London Transport von den Anfängen bis zur Jetztzeit. Insbesondere die Geschichte der London Underground von den Dampfzügen Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts bis heute, die anschauliche Darstellung des Baus der ersten Tunnel unter der City, die Konstruktion der ersten Escalator, sehr sehenswert. Auch ganz toll für Kinder, viele Dinge zum Ausprobieren, U-Bahn Simulator, Spielbereiche und ganz viel mehr. Wenn man alles intensiv erleben möchte, sollte man schon einen Tag einplanen. Leider ist der Spaß für Erwachsene nicht ganz billig, dafür sind Kinder aber frei. Dennoch alles sehr angemessen, denn hier wird wirklich etwas gezeigt, ganz weit weg von verstaubt. Sehr empfehlenswert!
Die Geschichte von London in Sachen Transport ist gut dargestellt. Alte Busse, Lokomotiven und Underground-wagen kann man bewundern und besteigen. Infos zur Erstellung von U-Bahn-tunnel und Rolltreppen aus Holz sind spannend gemacht. Natürlich ist der Eintritt ganz schön happig, aber meiner Meinung lohnt es sich. Wer auf alte Fahrzeuge mag, auf jeden Fall. Gut zu finden in der Gegend um den Covent Garden. 🤩
