Good Food!, Fast service, and friendly.. only thing was the place was a bit random with cardboard boxes and stock around. Would go there again though!
Delightful Lovely coffee that’s for sure. A bit frustrating on the service side. But fabulous setting in the lovely Victorian / Georgian village of Sandymount. I would not have been supprised If I met Mary Poppins with the Banks family walking down the street. The restaurant is perfectly in tune with the lovely village.
Really loved this bistro. Our server was so friendly and helpful. I had a fussy young child with me and they don’t have a children’s menu but she suggested buying the sides instead - eg chips and sausages. He got an all day breakfast sausage sandwich. My other child got an all day breakfast wrap which went down a treat. I got an omelette which was super. My youngest was amazed at ketchup in a glass bottle - very retro lol!! The sweet treats looked lovely too. 3 cokes added to the above and the bill cost close to €50. Sandymount is such a lovely lovely location! Well worth a visit.
Went in to have lunch as was waiting for my father in St. Vincent’s hospital across the road. Staff were arguing bout who’s job was what while I was there. I ordered scrambled egg and toast and tea. Very little scrambled egg on the plate and two slices of toast. When I then went to pay I was charged €19.40 for my lunch I didn’t realise I was overcharged until later. I was still hungry after it and had to get and apple and nuts in tescos beside it… I’d avoid at all costs!
Would give no stars if I could. Rudest man I have ever met. Arrived with my mum in a wheelchair to have breakfast and coffee. Wanted to sit inside. He was forcing us to a table outside the cafe, directly opposite the checkouts which did not suit us. There were many seats available in the much cosier inside. I asked for inside table. Easily doable. Many tables free.
Not in anyone's way. Easily accessible. He Refused to seat us - because my mum was in a wheelchair. Absolutely horrible service and for no reason at all he turned away two full covers.

Lecker Frühstück, freundliche Mitarbeiter!
Müsli war sehr gut, die Heiße Schokolade war leider teilweise mit Wasser gemacht.

The food was ok but far from being one of the top brunch places in Dublin.
They got a few things in our order wrong and the table wasn't super clean. We also had to request cutlery three times after our food had already arrived.
It seemed to us the place was mostly busy because it is a neighborhood restaurant, but not worth it to travel across town to go there.
We got the avocado with smoked salmon; the smashed avocado and eggs and the club sandwich. All the portions seemed quite sizable - specially the sandwich (and although from the pictures the others won't seem too big, we were all quite full after our meal).
