Dave cooked me the best ribeye (handsome too)

The worst bacon butty I've had in a very long time, I was the only customer when I got there but the sandwich still took ages to arrive, I'm not sure what the bread was, but I couldn't eat it. The bacon was pretty rough and very salty. Very disappointed

Just had the best burger EVER

Buttywagon in the laybye, freshly cooked eggs and bacon on a toasted cob.

Now. This is not 5 stars but its a very, very strong 4 stars.
First time staying here and i would definitely stay again, first impressions is that its not the prettiest truck stop.
I had dinner & breakfast here, i had the chilli & rice, which was very Moreish and very nice, i could've eaten a lot more then what they served. Breakfast i had egg & bacon sandwich & the egg was lovely & runny. Also the staff were very nice & welcoming.
As i said its not the nicest truck stop ive stayed in, the showers are not very powerfull, however they were hot and clean, so cant really complain.
This place aint gunna win any beauty contests but i had a safe quiet night sleep, i would 100% recommend here & i would definitely return.

Lovely food have a hot sandwich every Thursday always look forward to it 😀

As previous posters have said staff are always friendly and welcoming and there is often some good entertainment from the staff and regulars!

Got a sausage egg and cheese sandwich on crusty bread and my my my delicious is an understatement the sausage compliments the egg the egg compliments the cheese the cheese compliments the bread, the sausage so juicy makes your mouth water with it’s essence, the egg pops in your mouth fireworks of flavours the cheese you get a mix of both crispy and stringy greatness and the crusty bread fried with the aroma of all said before it truly is a dream come true and your taste buds and stomach will thank you for going there.

Just had a fantastic rib-eye steak on crusty bread. Outstanding taste an quality. Seriously worth the visit an will be going there again. Very pleasant owner, can't wait to try something different on my next visit. Standard set up only allows for a score out of 5 but this is definitely a place worth a 10 star rating.

Needed desperately to park up it was late called Steve and he said we're pretty full but I'll get you in top bloke did exactly that just managed to catch the cafe and the food was excellent a very clean and friendly place. Highly recommended 👌

Just about the finest tasting Bacon and sausage bap i have ever encountered, and I've been round the block and back again.

3 points of improvement which would lose 0.2 of a star

- black pudding is a bit bland, no blood or guts taste
- tea could be stronger
- extractor could be stronger it's a bit smokey inside when they are running full belt

Minor quibbles and I would definitely come again.

Well, what can I say, It was my first visit tonight and most definitely won't be my last.
Lovely food and good portions, really great, friendly staff, and spotlessly clean toilets and showers. I would imagine the parking is a bit tight if busy, but show me a truck stop that isn't.
Definitely worth the five stars.

What is the point In a coffee station when no one mans it?? There was a queue of people waiting for drinks and no one there, no one to ask on the cafe floor either as they was all in the back doing god knows what. Surely you should have someone out on the cafe area at all times. Rubbish on tables that have been left on here since we have arrived and we have been here for 30 minutes. Morrisons seems to not give a care. So you can just come in a rob the place. Open to all!
