We were staying in an AirBnB apartment just around the corner and this restaurant was recommended by our host. Barrique did not disappoint. My wife is ceiliac so we stuck with the main courses and were not disappointed. So much so we ate here seven times, yes, seven times during our 14 day stay in Gothenburg. Staff were so knowledgeable and friendly, appreciate that being in the hospitality industry, that is what you woud expect, however I have to say that all staff were exceptional, probably the best we have ever came across. Special mention to Hanna who was just so lovely, friendly and chatty. Not sure whether we will ever be back in Gothenburg however if we are this would be the first place we would head to, and again probably more than once

Tjejerna som arbetar där är snorkiga och fulla av sig själva. Jag var där med en vän. Vi ställde helt vanliga frågor om en öl som vi inte kände igen. Vi fick väldigt tråkiga och mästrande svar tillbaka. Tjejer, byt jobb eller gå en charmkurs.

Tycker maten överlag inte nådde upp till förväntningarna. Smakkombination satt ej till 100% på alla rätter.
Förövrigt en mysig restaurang med trevlig personal.

Wunderschöner Empfang und persönliche Betreuung über den gesamten Abend hinweg.

Ich hatte das volle Menü inkl. Weinbegleitung.

Jeder Gang für sich war etwas besonderes und die dazu ausgewählten Weine sprachen für sich.

Wenn man die Kulinarik liebt ist man hier definitiv gut aufgehoben.

There are small plates and then there are ˢᵐᵃˡˡ plates. Having read excellent reviews, my partner and I were excited. Despite the quality of the food, the overall experience was lacking: small portions, slow service. Overall, it is overpriced for what is on offer. You will leave hungry or with a dent in your wallet.

Small dishes, almost like tapas. Simple and tasty food. The outdoor seating is on a narrow pavement and quit ok. Nice place with nice personal. But the price is far to high compared to what you get! Two stars because of low value for money.

The food was delicious. It has been the best oyster I have ever tried, we got recommendations from the staff and it was the best advice for pairing and explaining which topping to try with each oyster. The other dishes we had had great ingredients and they were super good.

This one star Michelin restaurant is a great place to visit while in Goteborg! It’s a beautiful small restaurant with only a few tables surrounded by a modern style. We had the 6-course menu which was had deep harmony throughout alls courses but still rich in taste, aromatic and surprises. We enjoyed their style of modern and japanese cuisine. Portions were rich, we wouldn’t need the brad which came on the second course, but enjoyed the taste of it. The team was very well educated on all courses and gave good wine recommendations. Happy to come back next time we visit Goteborg.

What a beautiful place with an outstanding and amazing Champagne selection!! We didn’t count, but the number of champagnes seemed endless. So many great brands, also from small wineries with limited production. The team has a deep knowledge about every champagne they offer and their producers. The recommendations (we ordered by the bottle) were absolutely meeting our expectations. They worked with our taste and were very relaxed to open more than one bottle for testing. Visiting Goteborg for a weekend, we had to come back two days in a row. First day we were inside, second day we were outside in their beautiful garden. Snacks are delicious and pair the champagne. Service is super nice! How lucky were we to find this fantastic champagne selection via Google!

Das Lokal Project in Göteborg ist ein kulinarisches Meisterwerk, das seine Michelin-Stern-Auszeichnung mehr als verdient hat. Mit einem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, das seinesgleichen sucht, bietet dieses Restaurant ein mehrgängiges Degustationsmenü für etwa 80 € pro Person – ein echtes Schnäppchen für die Qualität und Kreativität, die hier geboten wird.

Das Ambiente ist absolut stimmig und schafft die perfekte Atmosphäre für einen unvergesslichen Abend. Die Einrichtung ist modern und elegant, dabei aber gleichzeitig gemütlich und einladend. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl und kann sich voll und ganz auf das bevorstehende kulinarische Erlebnis einlassen.

Der Service ist wirklich on the top. Das Personal ist professionell, aufmerksam und äußerst freundlich. Jeder Gang wird mit einer kleinen Geschichte und einer Empfehlung serviert, was das Erlebnis noch besonderer macht. Die Weinbegleitung ist hervorragend und die Auswahl an Weinen beeindruckend – jeder Tropfen perfekt auf die Gerichte abgestimmt.

Und nun zum Essen: Der Wahnsinn! Jedes Gericht ist eine geschmackliche Offenbarung, perfekt zubereitet und kunstvoll präsentiert. Die kreativen Kombinationen und die Qualität der Zutaten machen jedes Gericht zu einem Highlight. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das Beef Tartare – ohne Zweifel das beste, das ich jemals probiert habe. Jeder Bissen ist ein Genuss und zeigt die Leidenschaft und das Können der Küche.

Insgesamt ist das Lokal Project in Göteborg ein absolutes Muss für alle Feinschmecker. Ein fantastisches Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, ein stimmiges Ambiente, herausragender Service, eine exzellente Weinbegleitung und das beste Beef Tartare der Welt machen dieses Restaurant zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis. Fünf Sterne sind hier mehr als verdient – und der Michelin-Stern bestätigt, dass hier auf höchstem Niveau gekocht wird!

Fantastisk matupplevelse på hög nivå!Axel guidade oss genom hela menyn och dryckesval på ett briljant vis. Kunnig, bemötande och trevlig. Tog hänsyn till specialkost pga allergi och ordnade snabbt alternativ. Vi kommer tillbaka!

Would whole heartidly recommend this place to eat in Gothenburg. Beautiful restaurant with a lovely and relaxing atosmphere.

The food was incredible, with distingtive flavors and generous truffle. Even the butter for the bread was a "wow experience"!
The wine menu is extensive and covers the most important regions so you can order wine based on the food.

We must also give a huge thanks to the friendly and humerous staff that gave so much of themselves and their personality. Yous made our day.

All in all, so happy we came.
Looking forward to next time.

Beställde en stor chark och ost bricka med två sorters ostar två skivor av varje och två sorters chark för 435 kr. Enligt mig ett jäkla skämt, den ena osten var en vanlig brie och charken salami. När de skulle fylla på i våra vinglas så tog de ca 2 cm upp men ändå fick man betala för fullt glas. Servicen var urkass var tvungen att gå fram flera gånger för att beställa och även ta notan. Blev ingen dricks. Kommer inte tillbaka. Bilden är på ost och chark tallriken vi betalade för 435 kr.

Litet men väldigt bra ställen som erbjuder förstklassig mat. Rekommenderas varmt om man vill ha en spännande och god matupplevelse.

Söndagsmiddag för två. Vi valde husets meny med tillhörande vinpaket. Fullträff!
Mycket kunnig hovmästare som kom med initierad information och diskret vägledning.
Kocken kom ut och förgyllde vårt besök. Vi kommer gärna tillbaka snart igen.

Vi plockade diverse olika rätter från menyn och allt var exemplariskt. Här erbjuds rätter från havet och vegetariskt. Servicen var inget annat än perfekt och man kan inte önska sig något bättre. Kan inte rekommendera detta ställe nog, ni måste hit!

The food was just EXCELLENT! I don’t understand people who are rating that place lower than 5. I’ve been in too many places and countries, and not often enjoyed the food that much.

The lamb was just exceptional, we almost cried 😄. I don’t think I’ve tried better one, and I’ve tried a lot. Mussels were also good, juicy and tasteful.

Really recommend to go there!

Lunch ok. My partner took chicken (really good) and fish for me (ok but overcooked). Maybe with vegetables also it will be better🥦.
The waffle dough was very very too salty, I don’t know why🤷🏻‍♂️.
I will come back to check my opinion.

We liked this place.
We first were only in the mood for some wine, we were nicely served to a good glass with options.
Later we had some food which was excellent.

If you want to point out some downside :
The place is a bit pricey. The chairs in the bar area became slightly uncomfortable with time and It was also quite close to other people's seating.

We hadn't made reservations so we were happy to at least get a seat!

Overall excellent staff, good wines and cuisine with just minor improvement points. Would come here again!

Riktigt trevlig restaurang med utsökt mat och goda drycker. Vi åt en 3 rätters med vinpaket. Riktigt riktigt gott får jag säga. Dessutom var personalen otroligt trevlig och hjälpsam. De hade stor kunskap om maten vi åt och dryckerna vi drack. Första gången hör för mig, men jag kommer garanterat tillbaka. Denna restaurang får ni inte missa. Väl värt ett besök

スウェーデン第二の都市ヨーテボリの旧市街地HAGAに隣接する古いレストラン街Tredje Långgatanに所在する隠れ家的ワインバー。近隣がオープンエアの路面店が多いが、中庭に作られた店でちょっと見では見つけにくい。現地のワイン通の友人に連れられてお気に入りに中庭ではあるが展示はガラス張りになっており開放感があるし雨の心配もない。選ばれたワインはどれも美味美味。今回、知人の勧めでピザを3枚オーダーしてシェアしたが、日本的なクリスピーな生地で味もワインと最高に合っていた。何度も通っているお気に入りのお店

Canvas och cava är väldigt populärt så var på plats i god tid då det inte går att recervera bord. Mysigt sätt att umgås.

Awesome place with a long wine list and immaculate service. Tasty small dishes.

Just a question of when they will get their Michelin stars. The food is better than at Noma in Denmark and Frantzen in Stockholm. Worth travelling to Gothenburg just to eat here. Don’t miss the tarte tatin.

Undvik till varje pris. Vidrigt otrevlig värd i dörren. Varit här flera gånger men efter hans beteende blir det aldrig mer.

Mega schönes Ambiente

Hänger du på tredje lång och sugen på vin borde du gå hit. Mycket bra utbud och professionell service. Rätt okunnig själv men fick bra hjälp och ett vin som var väldigt gott.

A German friend of mine said that their sourcraut was as good as the one his grandmother made. A lovely place with good food at a decent price. Perfect when hanging out with friends.
