Lovely Awesome HQ burger and mac n cheese balls - the cocktails were a little sweet for me but still enjoyed. Visited as a large group of about 16 so a couple of drinks took a while to come but totally understand given the amount of us! Servers were very friendly and wait time for food was good - would definitely go again.
The best food honestly! The fries were not greasy and the beef burger is the one! We drove here and there was parking available. Once we got in we made our order and the food arrived so quickly and it was nice and hot!. Deffo would recommend came all the way from London and would say this is the best burger I’ve had in a while!
majid made my milkshake and he was so kind and even spoke to me while i made it, the shake was absolutely amazing and i love coming to archie’s. the team and the food are always amazing and fresh. 10/10 always!
Ordered a go banana, served by a kind guy called majid. Fresh and cold. Archie’s has always been the place to go! The atmosphere is amazing!
After flight delays and train delays, I needed some food in a rush between train connections, and luckily Archie’s was open even though it was midnight!
I asked the person behind the counter how long it would be for something quick, as I had a train to catch and very confidently she told me 7 minutes for a beef burger, or a couple minutes for fries. Two mins later, with a steaming portion of (rather tasty) curly fries and a few sachets of mayonnaise she sent me on my way, all whilst having a warm and friendly attitude, and a beaming smile.
It’s not often someone genuinely seems happy to be working after midnight, but I was really impressed with her service and manner.

I am in loveeee with Archie's! The ambiance is amazing... Very very clean environment. Perfect choice of colour. Courtney's attitude to service and attentiveness was on point. Food was hottt and tasty however, potion sizes could've been a bit more. Thanks Archie's. See you next time while in Manchester xx
Really nice food and reasonably priced
Wrap was disgusting, they had cooked the salad so it was hot and soggy. I ate the chicken out of it which tasted fine. Chips chewy and undercooked.
Ordered the zesty chicken burger, the beefed up burger, mozzarella sticks and the BBQ chicken wings.
The chicken was really well cooked, nice and juicy. The buffalo sauce which I ordered in addition to the zesty burger was particularly amazing and definitely needed as it seemed like they added a slightly different, more diluted sauce to the burger. It's also an amazing dip for anything else on the menu like chips.
The beefed up burger was also really well made and juicy. Good amount of cheese to sauce ratio.
Took quite a while for them to make it but I'm glad it was freshly made (and you could tell).

Tried the American fried burger; It was perfectly sauced from the outside so that the large chicken fillet was not dry. Overall tasty but as far as buttermilk chicken fillets are it is lacking the crunch and juicy interior. Also the Cajun fries were poor. Still satisfied nevertheless
Decided to try a few things on the menu… the chips firstly were incredibly tasty, it’s hard to get chips right..finished them! The chicken burgers and beef burgers were my favourite with all the flavours packed in on a soft bun! Cheesy sticks DELISH (not original name 🤣) The chicken wings crispy on the outside and succulent on the inside, which is west you want! The dips are tasty although I stayed away from the spicy one 💅
Now deserts…. My personal favourite is the red velvet cookie dough! Warm cookie with whipped ice cream! Dreamy!!! Loads of seating in a bright airy restaurant front. I’m coming back!!!

Literally the best burger place you will ever try! Their food is always full of flavour from their burgers to the loaded fries and you cannot leave this place without trying out their sensational shakes! I always leave this place thinking when my next visit will be… shakedown is somewhere you won’t want to miss! 🍔🫶🏾

The staff were so lovely and had a lot of time for us explaining what we could put in our milkshakes. Everyone was smiling and happy. Service with a smile is rare but they do it here. Lovely. 👍😃
Yeah ngl foods mid. Service and place is decent. I paid for a friend of mine spent £38. You have to buy chips and drink separately and that's £4 extra ontop of your burger. Sauces are also separate 50p-£2.
Was expecting to get a decent big size burger since I ordered the burger w the chicken and beef but wasn't to my expectations. Loaded fries was oh-kayy. Rather get the normal chips WITHOUT the American cheese (never again unless you like it)you get with the burger.

Got to say the service here this evening was very poor. My fries were stone cold, my burger looked like it was thrown on the bun from 20ft away and they forgot my drink and sauce.
When my drink was finally ready 5mins later they didn't even bring it over. I had to get up mid meal to fetch it from the counter.

i had a wonderful experience at shakedown I tried loaded fries, Ali is great Man and served me well thank you! definitely coming back
I had an incredible experience at Shakdown Burger Place on Wilmslow Road. The food was delicious, and the staff, especially Adeel and Ali, were fantastic. Their warm hospitality made me feel right at home. I can't wait to visit again!
A dazzling new place. Staff were amazing and friendly however, if you take into account the calorie count for one milkshake can give you a heart attack haha. The atmosphere is fantastic especially coming from a busy part of Manchester. And the crinkle chips were delight and tasty. The off putting thing was the burger had a weird taste to it. I'm not sure what but it wasn't as nice as I had hoped or expected. It had a weird after taste.
In Manchester, Piccadilly was quite chaotic. We stumbled upon a burger 🍔 and milkshake 🥤 restaurant, where a friendly Hong Kong employee, who's been in the UK since the age of three, warmly welcomed us 🤩. They mentioned that many KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders) visit because the second floor has a pink 💞 ball pit and swings, which drive the crazy kids to scream with excitement 😱🤣, though it wasn't open at the time 😞.

This was a great restaurant for dinner, harboring a classic design resembling American chains! The counter has the options clearly shown and colour scheme lines up, staff were honest about wait times and seating is plentiful. I had a scrumptous chicken burger with some of the best fries alongside Vimto, although it was not as fresh as places like Frankies and they forgot my Pickles.
The burger I had here was one of the best I had recently in any restaurant. The staff was helpful and quick. The place was clean the food was delicious. Will definitely visit again during my next trip to Arndale. This is always better place to eat than McDonald's or KFCs.

Top Service, sehr gute Auswahl an Burger, nette Atmosphäre, gutes Preis Leistung Verhältnis... Kommt lieber früh, da sich der Laden relativ schnell füllt. Sehr zu empfehlen!
For me the decoration and service was excellent. A real American style feel and warm environment. Dessert wise we ordered some churros, dognuts, peppermint tea and lattes. Everything was nice apart from the lattes. They were very bitter and not in the league of Costa etc. I had to keep in adding sugars to make it edible. Saying that churros and dognuts were nice and fresh and the peppermint tea was nice. Also it was a nice clean place.
