Had a burger craving and this did the trick! I got a cocktail and a burger and Fries. The waitress was super nice and did a wonderful job accommodating my complicated burger order and it came out perfect. The burgers are huge and full of flavor, the fries are also very good but I do wish they had a slightly larger portion size. The aoli that came on the fries was also very good. I would totally come back here again for a burger.

**Disappointing Dining Experience**

**Burger Quality:** Priced at $25, the burger failed to meet expectations. The meat was decent but not juicy enough, the bun tasted stale, as if it were two days old
**Fries:** The fries were overly oily
**Service:** Staff were friendly and welcoming
**Ambiance:** The space was adequate with good views, but the chairs were uncomfortable and the environment was noisy

Overall, the restaurant didn't justify its high pricing, with several elements of the meal and experience falling short.

We ordered drinks and the honey coke was flat and the Prosecco was ordinary. The curly fries were awesome. My partner had a Kiwi Classic, the bun wasn’t fresh, and as you can see in the photos the tomatoes were cut way to thick which just made the burger hard to eat. When you’re paying $25 just for a burger, it needs to be presented much better and the bun to be fresh. I had the Vege beef and cheese burger. The patty was really good but the burger itself didn’t have enough jam to balance out the creaminess of the Mayo. Also had the char grilled broccoli which was cooked to perfection.

Stellar food and service here. I ordered the Kiwi Classic burger on a gluten free bun (they provide excellent coeliac-friendly GF options). It was a stack of comfort and joy topped off with a perfectly done egg, and the best proper meal I could have hoped for after three flights.
Service was excellent, and the atmosphere was very nice on a Friday evening. Would happily visit again.

Understand there's a cost of living crisis but the burger is small and the fries portion is tiny for $7. The contents of the smash burger are tasty but a slightly stale bun and wilted lettuce left me feeling a little let down. Used to be a fav but now not so sure I'll be back. And the T sauce provided for the fries is yuk.

Menu says shoe string fries but they brought out chunky ones. The fries and the burger were well cooked so it's not the staff letting things down it's the ingredients, portions and pricing.

My friend and I had some great chicken burgers here late at night while we were in Auckland last week.

They were great value for money and very tasty. I also had some lemonade while I was there, and I received the biggest cup of lemonade I've ever been given for a really good price.

Amazing chicken burger, very moist patty, and fresh vegetables. Fries were a bit oily, but were well seasoned. Salt and Vinegar Mayo was a must try, and service was quick and effortless. 10/10 must come and will definitely come back !

Order a Double cheeseburger combo ..... burger great , fries are good but small portion. Small drink. Order a lime n pistachio shake taste like hokey pokey with crush pistachio on top.

Burgers are yum! We both had beef smash burgers, mine was gluten free. Delicious and not greasy.
Would have been good to have a small amount of fries included with the price, plus also the option to have these fries gluten free too.
Would defo recommend and I’d eat here again.

Got the Brisket burger, personally would’ve went for the smash burger since the pieces were quite thicker and somewhat chewy.

Good atmosphere, size of the burger is medium so overall an ok burger.

I had dinner here with family on Sunday. That night one of my nephews vomited the whole night. Since that all of us that ate there vomited the whole day long on Monday. When I ate the burger I thought it tasted weird but thought it would just be the type of meat. Also had bad service when ordering drinks. Our drink was wrong, and when we corrected the order the girl there did nothing about it. I am quite disappointed that we paid so much for such bad quality food and service. Won’t be going here ever again.

Black dog burger was closed when we got there and there was a sign saying that the kitchen could make the burgers and to order through them… It took 3 people before someone knew what we were talking about when we asked for the black dog menu. Seating was food hall style - felt like (and probably was) multiple restaurants in one. Burger itself was pretty good. Felt like someone cooked this at a BBQ. Enjoyed the smoky flavor but very basic overall.

Ambiente und Service top. Das Essen ist leider nicht zu empfehlen. Wir hatten Burger, Limonade und Süßkartoffel Pommes. Das Fleisch war sehr schlecht und die Beilagen verbrannt. Wir hatten das gleiche im Burger Burger Christchurch gegessen und dort hatte es uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Hier in Auckland würde ich nicht nochmal herkommen.

A bit off the beaten track but a great find. Abhi was excellent, explaining the menu then cooking our burgers. Nice hot fries and cold beer. Rugby on TV. Double cheeseburger and Brisket were both great.

Went out for a burger on Saturday and usually wahlburgers would be the go to but decided after some research to try Burger Burger and very happy we did, the food was really good, reasonably priced for the quality and the service was awesome, staff were friendly, food wait times were just right and everyone including the staff were having a great time. I will most definitely be going back.

World's smallest shake. I was like oh okay $7.50 not too bad for a shake, expecting at least a 500ml shake. Nope. They pull up with whatever this is. For a shop that has the name "shake" in it I would expect better. This drink was the same size as a 250ml can of coke. The shake was just okay as well nothing special. Only reason they get this high review was the kiosk ordering was very easy and the drink was made very fast. Please make a bigger shake.

리뷰들이 4년전에는 갑자기 불만족스러웠다는 이야기가 많았고, 현재는 좋다는 글이 많아서 가봤습니다. 토요일에 버거 하나를 더 주는 이벤트를 아직하고 있는지 모르겠습니다. 분위기는 나쁘지 않은편이며 왼쪽에 있는 bar와 가운데로 들어가면 있는 피자집에서 먹어도 좋냐는 질문에 승락해줘서 피자집에서 먹었는데 훨씬 좋았습니다. 꼭 물어보고 피자집에서 예쁜사진을 건져가셨으면 좋겠네요.

Located at the corner of Empire Hotel. Signage isn’t big so can be easy to miss. Portions are very generous. Smash burger was good but would have loved the option to add another patty. Would come back and try their fried chicken burger. Small seating area with 3 tables and a few counter seats.

updated review 7 months later: the food and taste quality definitely gone downhill 👎, burger was served half cold, burger and fries were very salty, I still really like the sundae thou..

initial review: friendly staff, great perks, expensive, i like their burgers, but their fries are always too salty.

This is nice, simple, and yummy.

Touchless ordering, really simple navigation, good ‘meal deal’ options. Possibly could confuse non digital natives when you have to select / enter in your buzzer number from the pile.

Went for the highly unoriginal combo of burger, fries, and a drink.

Fast service, and a really good sauce station.

Food was great. Fries were perfectly seasoned and a good portion size too.

Burger was cooked superbly, nothing but nice things to say. Compared to the other more expensive places, $18 worked for me

It’s a good court so make sure you grab a space otherwise you’re looking around like a fool with your tray 😀

Was heading to a concert and came across Shake Out while looking for a place to grab a quick bite. Good tasty burgers made fresh to order. Arrived quickly. Expensive but better value than some of the big burger chains that could be mentioned. Food in the city is expensive so overall was happy with what we got.
