Il cibo molto buono, le birre davvero ottime con vasta scelta. Perfetto per guardare le partite di qualsiasi sport (dispone di tantissimi tv). Quando è affollato non è facile trovare un tavolo pulito e fare un ordine, ma nel complesso è consigliato

We are older people visiting from the USA and we loved this place. The atmosphere is wonderful. The cask beer is great and, if you prefer, they have a nice selection of standard beer.
Our fish and chips were wonderful. The burger tasted a bit like meatloaf, but that was true at another place in Scotland.
We highly recommend going here for an authentic local pub.

We’ve been coming here for years now and I don’t know what’s happened recently but the service has been getting worse and worse each time we go in. Staff just standing behind the bar when they used to come to the table for food orders. We have experienced much better service and hopefully this is just a blip and I’ll happily edit the review if we experience better service next time but I feel it’s important that it’s noted that the last few times we did not find it good.
I ordered the meat pie it was fine, the textures are good but for me it was a regular meal, nothing special about the flavours, however the restaurant is a traditional Scottish style and it has a good atmosphere
Super pleasant atmosphere, kind staff and a great bond between them. We were passing through the city, after having been to a few pubs, this one is the best for us!! We returned there a few times during our stay and each time we were lucky enough to be served (restaurant) by Amelie and Katrina.
Here for the open mic night on Sunday 29 Apr. Hospitality over the moon. Great pub, wide selection of beers ales and liquor. Missed dinner but the place had a lot of local clients so I am thinking you'll not be disappointed. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.
Absolutely fantastic! The food was so good the atmosphere is just amazing and our server was wonderful as well. So neat to sit and eat where so much history has happened. Highly recommend eating here!
We had a lovely experience!! We got three burgers, a pint and three half pints, we tried our first whiskey here and the stuff was so nice and helpful in our choice. They had us whiff it and once we chose it they checked in with us on how we liked it. We also got a nachos platter and a typical dessert with a glass of Scottish wine. The pub itself is very awesome, it has fairy light strung throughout and the decor is unique!
What a wonderful find, this place gets very busy and would recommend booking if you want food,but we only called in for a drink, they have a good range of drinks and if you want a whiskey the bar staff are very knowledgeable about recommending one. A definite one to return to

Can't beat the service and food here! If it's full, just wait, it's worth it! The Shepherds pie was perfect along with any pint! Atmosphere takes you back in time!
Excellent et magnifique plateau de fruits de mer, dessert également très bon... Bien que le prix soit assez élevé, les proportions étaient généreuses. L'ambiance et la décoration du restaurant étaient superbes. La terrasse était aussi très jolie à côté du canal.
Trois grosses déceptions : pas de lingette humide au citron pour se nettoyer les mains après avoir mangé les fruits de mer et le service n'était pas des plus agréables… Après avoir demandé de récupérer le fumet de poissons pour le boire, ils n'ont même pas pris le temps de me le réchauffer!! Pas très professionnel...
Conclusion : un bon restaurant de fruits de mer avec une bonne ambiance, mais qui devrait revoir ses manières de services.

Veniamo qui per un rapido pranzo, prendiamo fish and Chips ed una bevanda. Buono il pesce, accettabili le patate.
Atmosfera piacevole, nel momento della nostra visita era poco frequentato, potrebbe essere differente la sera.
Pur essendo stata una sosta breve possiamo certamente dire esperienza positiva!

Bella esperienza, pub tipico scozzese. Cena con fish & Chips, haggis e hamburger per due sere consecutive, ottime birre fresche. Tutto molto buono, personale cortese e attento, il tutto accompagnato da gente del posto durante una partita di calcio.
Este típico pub escocés ofrece una gran variedad de cervezas frías y un ambiente muy agradable. Los clientes disfrutan de un ambiente relajado y acogedor mientras saborean su cerveza bien fría. Además, el servicio es amable y servicial. Sin duda, es un lugar perfecto para disfrutar de una cerveza bien fría y una buena compañía.

Visrestaurant met heerlijke gerechten en een uitstekende en heel joviale bediening. Maaltijd was veel exquiser dan de prijs doet vermoeden. Zeker aan te bevelen.

Helaas was het eten, niet naar onze verwachting voor wat het koste. Wij hadden 1/2 kreeft met rode biet en risotto... het was niet echt heel warm en weinig kreeft. De smaak was zo zo.
De wijn, sauvignon blanc was heerlijk.
De bediening was niet het beste.
Voor dit zou ik niet naar dit restaurant gaan....
