Lovely Sunday lunch maybe another couple of slices of meat would be preferable for me it was fine but no where near enough for the men. Very tasty though and would recommend the beef roast.

We had my dad's wake in here and it was his favourite pub. He used to like a game of pool in there. It's a nice friendly pub, they did us a buffet which was very nice too.

This is a great pub; the staff and atmosphere is always nice.

It’s a short walk into town or the sea front so also good for a pre-night out warm up.

The cottage, 20 High Street, was decorated beautifully to the highest standards.
Everything was extremely clean and very well maintained.
The bed and bedding were very comfortable.
The kitchen was fully equipped, not a single thing missing that you would have in your kitchen. There was also a cute little complimentary milk bottle in the fridge.
The bathroom was very aesthetically done.
There was a flat screen tv in the lounge and both the bedrooms with Netflix on it!
It’s a home away from home!

What a find! We’d been recommended this dog friendly pub and checked it out last night. Food was stunning. Not cheap (Fillet steak £40) but again you get what you pay for. We would rather pay for quality food than have piled high average food. Lovely charcuterie board for starters and then 2 steaks. Lovely atmosphere and we will definitely be visiting again soon.

I'm really torn over this pub. Screams potential but sadly lacks investment. It's an old building with some lovely features but needs a huge amount of money spending on it. The bar area itself is ok. Warm and comfortable, plenty of seating, and looks ok. Has a Jazz bar in the basement, which I could hear but didn't visit.
The prices were reasonable.
The toilets, however, were disgusting. Now I say this half heartedly, as it would appear that it has two sets of both male and female toilets, which I personally think is a mistake. As a man, I clearly didn't see the ladies toilets, but the gents on the eastern side of the building were tiny and horrific. Three urinals but barely room for one person. The floor was disgusting and the walls and fixtures in taters. The toilets on the western side were surprisingly better kept. They would be better just making one side male and the other side female and having much more room for both. The ale was good and the staff polite. Plenty of outside seating which was well lit at night.

Traditional pub, lots of choice of beers, staff very friendly, very quiet on the evening we visited , will definitely visit again as the beer was very good...

Really nice traditional pub with great food and drink at a reasonable price, friendly staff too.

They do a lovely pie , mash and chips..

Beers good, staff are great and the atmosphere is chilled.

Great music venue too.

Nice friendly pub with a good atmosphere and a nice beer garden. Saber settles well in there.
Pleasant staff and keeps a good pint !!
