We really enjoyed this hotpot buffet - the cooked food items were as delightful as the raw ingredients for hotpot cooking!
The soup bases may feel a tad bland at the start - we got the Tom Yum and chicken broth - but both became rich in umami flavours after a few rounds of cooking.
Some notable mentions for the raw ingredients:
- plump and juicy frozen oysters
- tender and flavourful chicken thigh
- tender thick-cut dory fillet
- broad and thinly sliced beef

- flavourful and tender braised beef brisket
- Mala Xiang Guo with a good spicy kick
- silky and flavourful trio steamed egg
The staff were all friendly and attentive to our needs, taking our orders for the soup base and drinks, refilling our soup bases, as well as clearing our empty/dirty crockery very promptly without being intrusive.
Overall, great value at $69++ per pax but with 1-for-1 promo available for minimum 2 diners.

We were greeted warmly by the staffs from 630pm . Amelyn and her team attended to our meal pleasantly and amiably. The initial atmosphere was cold temperature but once the steamboat start . Hot3! Really liked the food and service. Will come again in future! 1 for 1 deal is definitely a plus. Hehehe
Good food, great service. My wife and I particularly liked the shaved ice milk machine that let us create our own bingsu.
As for the steamboat buffet, there was a fairly wide spread of high to reasonable quality ingredients and the soup bases were really nice.
Finally, kudos to the staff for their friendly, efficient service.

Had the steamboat buffet at The Buffet restaurant. I have to say it exceeded my expectations. The soup bases were extremely tasty and refills were of the same quality too. Highly recommend the chicken gelatine soup base. The top-up is worth it.
Spread is very sumptuous and meats were really fresh. There were fresh prawns as well, so it was quite worth the money. You can pass on the hamburger because it’s not very special.

The food was great! Had a good spread of the usual steamboat meat, vegetables etc. the soup selection was also great, where we get to select 2 kinds of soup base. One thing I feel that I lacking is the lack of cooked food, like fried rice. They do have white rice, but probably it’s just a personal preference to have fried rice. The dessert, too, could be better as well.
The service and atmosphere was what sold me. Both are exceptional! The service was great as they are very attentive from even before, arriving, all the way to the time we left the door. They ensured my requests are met, and not only they were executed efficiently but accurately as well. They always serve not only us, but to all patrons, with a smile! Anyway, one of my request was to have a table that’s not too noisy but also, a comfortable spot for my 3 month old newborn. And that was exactly what they did. Really thankful!
Would definitely get my steamboat fix here, for causal and even special occasions!
