Wonderful experience, it's possible to take a boat ride along the canal, with beverages served on board
Great experience, many birds and small animals, some roaming free in the park, feeding demonstrations and lovely staff
Avifauna is a fun park with plenty of different animals, my favourites include the maki, the ostrich and the big pigeon that sounds like your phone is on vibrate.
The free roaming nature of most of the animals at some point is very fun, like their bird demonstration (not a show). Which allows the birds to join if they want or fly around for a while to stretch their wings.
The staff is very friendly and able to answer questions you may have about the animals.
Overall a great experience, especially if you're a big bird fan. But even for those who don't have an explicit interest there is enough variation to enjoy yourself

Have visited "Bird Park Avifauna" in Alphen aan den Rijn several times with family. There are many parking spaces available. It is a beautiful park to visit and see the birds in their enclosures and don't miss bird shows. The staff are nice and helpful. The park is visibly wheelchair and walker accessible, and there are even wheelchairs available to borrow. The children could also have fun in the playground. My acquaintances have regularly spent the night in the hotel on site. All in all a nice park to come back to.
It was fun and it is nice to see that they let the birds out. Restaurant in the park is a bit minimalistic, but food is fine. Had a fun afternoon
Such a lovely place, we made it for the bird show which was exciting (would be great if this was in English), but the best part was getting to feed Loris ourselves! It also has a playground, very child friendly.
Great day out for parents and children alike. Here the children can really enjoy. Aside from the fact that there are activities throughout the park and a lot to see in animals and all, there’s a big play ground with activities for all children
I would carry some sandwiches though as the restaurants within can be so packed and then run out of what you may have wanted
