We come here very often whenever we go to the City. Got a chance to stroll with bikes after we ate our dinner at a restaurant near here. They also have acoustics every night I guess since every time we come here there's someone playing you can enjoy it while you eat.
A Delightful Afternoon at Puerto Princesa Baywalk
Our Group of Seven School Heads from DepEd Sablayan South, Division of Occidental Mindoro, had the pleasure of visiting Baywalk during our city tour in Puerto Princesa, Palawan on June 28, 2024. The experience was nothing short of delightful.
As we arrived at Baywalk, we were greeted by the scenic view of the waterfront, with its picturesque backdrop of boats and the serene bay. The well-maintained promenade was perfect for a leisurely stroll, allowing us to soak in the beauty of the area while enjoying the gentle sea breeze.
The vibrant atmosphere at Baywalk was infectious. Local families and tourists alike were out enjoying the evening, creating a lively and welcoming environment. Street vendors offered a variety of local snacks and delicacies, which we eagerly sampled. The freshly grilled seafood and local treats were a highlight of our visit. Additionally, there were numerous restaurants offering a wide choice of fresh seafood, providing us with a delightful dining experience.
One of the standout features of Baywalk was the stunning sunset. Watching the sun dip below the horizon, casting brilliant hues of orange and pink across the sky, was a truly mesmerizing sight. It was a perfect moment of relaxation and reflection amidst our busy tour schedule.
The cleanliness and safety of Baywalk were commendable, and the presence of benches and shaded areas made it a comfortable place to unwind. We also noticed the presence of tourist police, which added to our sense of security as we enjoyed the area.

Booked a tour to go firefly watching with dinner on the boat during the evening. It was a very peaceful experience with the calm river and the fireflies illuminating the mangrove trees.
The guides information on the fireflies behaviour, the importance of the mangrove ecosystem and the local folklore about the fireflies was very informative and engaging.
The food was delicious too!

An enchanting experience offering a great blend of culture and nature. The garden is well maintained with butterflies flying in every corner, you also see some other insects aswell. The guides are happy to give you more information and interesting facts about the insects.
The tribal village also gave an opportunity to learn more about the traditional practices of our indigenous people. It's definitely worth a visit!

A view of the bay, strip of restaurants, biking and jogging lane. Best to go early morning and beat the crowd or weekdays. One of my favorite spots to just think while having matcha latte in Lato 😁
This place is worth to visit when you’re in Palawan. Tour guides are informative and organized. Please let us help maintain this place so that more people will be educated about their native people’s culture. Entrance is not expensive and you can also donate.
Nice place foe morning routine exercise. Wide pathways. Zumba area. Resting areas. Police visibility. And upon my visit, a local fisherfolk with fresh catch for sale. The place could still be cleaner, just like before.
Booked through travel agent and mistaken this for the Kitu one. Should have clarified. The tour agent is helpful and knowledgeable but it doesn't make the tour more exciting as we are there to see the fireflies and not listen to stories. To add wound to the salt they are aware chances of watching the fireflies will be low because of the full moon yet didn't bother to inform travel agent so we are given the heads up.

Palwan Butterfly and Ecological Garden is an experience and one recalls the phrase "Butterflies are Beautiful "
which is also viewed with the Tribal village..
Ad we had visited in end February and the it was hot we were informed that the butterflies had retreated and cold be seen hidden in the plants and under leaves A notice is also installed which is explained the behavior of the butterflies and the animals when experiencing hot and uncomfortable weather..
However at the entry is Palwan Peacock Pheasant which is characterized by colorful feathers and vibrant wings that are exhibited during the mating season..to attract the female birds.
The Tribal village showcases the cultural life of the original inhabitants of Palawan namely the Palaw'an as the people are called
The first exhibits explain the hard life and the basket design which is to be mounted on the head so that the hands are free to pluck fruits or produce and store in the bamboo basket
There is a display of original drums,stringed Instruments one like the guitar and the other like a long violin called kudyapi together with a stringed instrument using the mouth as resonator and pulling on the strings with the fore and middle fingerA flute is also used in the demonstration.
A short melody is played along with singing which is a calming and serene tune..
A short demonstration of starting a fire using flint stones .For hunting Palw'an using a blow gun consisting of a bamboo pipe with iron tip or poisoned snake venom tip to stun the bird or small animals being hunted.Generally these are powerful and some designs with bamboo lengths exceeding 15 feet can send a dart for over 60 yards or we were informed..
Finally there is a 8feet tame python which people can wrap around their neck and take pictures of their memories of the park which is a must visit place

Furchtbare Haltung der Krokodile in Wannen und Betonwänden!! Auch die paar anderen Tiere waren in viel zu kleinen Käfigen! Der Park sehr lieblos und größtenteils gesperrt. Schlimmer als im Zoo. Angeblich sollen diese Tieren hier aufgezogen und ausgewildert werden, was unmöglich ist bei so einer Haltung, da diese in der Wildnis mit so einer Haltung direkt sterben würden! Geht da auf keinen Fall hin, wir sind nach einer Empfehlung dahin und bereuen es sehr! Tierquälerei ist das, einen 3-4m Krokodil in einem ca. 9m2 Betonkäfig zu halten!
Leider habe ich mich im vorhinein nicht gut genug informiert und musste es sehr bereuen…. Ich ging davon aus, dass das Ziel des Parks ist die Krokodile und anderen Tiere wieder auszuwildern. Nachdem ich nun leider dort ear kann ich es mir nicht vorstellen. Uns wurde erzählt, dass die Krokodile in den Park kommen wenn sie zum Beispiel einen Menschen angegriffen haben oder ähnliches und nach ca. 4-5 Jahren ist das Ziel, dass sie wieder in die Natur kommen. Ich kann mir kaum vorstellen, dass die Tiere nach dieser Zeit in der Wildnis überleben und fragte nach. Meine Frage wurde nicht beantwortet, sondern es wurde ausgewichen. Ein Krokodil hat aktiv versucht aus dem Wasser zu kommen, es war allerdings viel zu steil und rutschig. Auch hier fragte ich nach warum das sein kann und die Antwort war, dass es manchmal eben so ist… Bitte geht nicht in den Park und unterstützt dieses Tier Gefängnis.
Sehr interessant und preiswert. Sollte man machen, wenn man etwas Zeit übrig hat. Es gibt viele Krokodile, aber auch weitere Tiere in cooler "Jurassic Park Atmosphäre"
Eintritt 40php (?), ein Guide begleitet dich & erklärt alles. Die Anlage ist eher dürftig, aber interessant. Kann man sich anschauen.
Die Gehege sind viel zu klein. Trostloses Leben für die Krokodile. Über die "Auswilderung" wurde nichts erzählt, auf Nachfrage wurde ausgewichen. Bei einem Blick über den Zaun eines nicht öffentlichen Bereichs konnte man noch etliche Vögel und auch Affen in winzigen Käfigen sehen. Nichts für Tierfreunde - traurig!
Klein maar leuk museumpje. Goedkope entree 50 PHP/persoon. Helaas is de verlichting op het gepresenteerde vaker slecht.
Trotz einem mickrigen Eintritt von 40 Peso wurde einem sehr viel geboten, neben den größten Krokodilen die man je gesehen hat , gab es noch zahlreiche andere Tiere zu sehen.
Zu Beginn hab es kurz eine kurze Erklärung zur Anlage auf Englisch ... Sehr sehenswert wenn man Mal gerade einen freien halben Tag hat ! :)

Der Eintritt ist günstig die Mitarbeiter freundlich.
Leider hat man das Gefühl Dehn Tieren geht es nicht gut, sehen schlecht aus, leben auf kleinen Raum. ;( Man kann sogar Fotos am Ausgang mit einen Mini Krokodil oder Albino Schlange (gelb weiß) Fotos machen das finde ich Tierquälerei!

Die Wege ungepflegt , Tiere fast keine mehr im Park. Kümmert sich keiner mehr , kostet wohl zu viel Geld. Einzig die Krokodil Zucht wird weiter erhalten.
Nice and romantic experinece. I ve never seen so many fireflies making this night show for our eyes. Food is nice as well.
