Beautiful place to enjoy and spend some time. We especially loved the seals and the penguins. Here are 2 videos of these adorable animals!!
As you wander through the exhibits, you'll encounter a captivating array of sea creatures, from graceful stingrays to playful otters. The immersive experience allows you to get up close and personal with these fascinating animals, fostering a deeper appreciation for marine conservation.
Stunning aquarium! The exhibits/enclosures are well thought out to keep on the theme of the room and make sure the fish are cared for. Lots to do for both children and adults. They have fish, penguins, otters, sharks, everything. They have Korean animals and animals from around the world. 10/10
Fantastic place to visit, great for small kids too, they have inside plenty of activities for the little ones to do. Can feed some of the fish too, they also have shows like when they have feeding timing for them.
The shark viewing gallery is definitely the highlight at this aquarium. We spent 30 minutes just looking at the sharks. Some of them are huuuuuge. Overall, a fun visit. It was free to access using the Discover Seoul Pass. Once you have the Discover Seoul Pass, you can simply walk up to the ticket counter at Coex Aquarium and show them the pass. They will scan the code on the pass and then give you an entry ticket. We went on a Monday afternoon and there was barely any crowd. Zero waiting time. No queues. They also have clean toilets just outside the aquarium exit which are free to use.
Nice quick visit while checking out coed and star field mall. Friendly for the kids. Visiting there right after open (10:00am) is the best if you want to take your time to enjoy it
I had an awesome time by myself here! Coming from Western countries, the standard of care for the animals was so much higher than I’d seen anywhere else. So many diverse animals, some I’d never seen in person before. Definitely planned out for kids but enjoyable for everyone for sure.
