A place must visit with kids but but but...... went to visit zoo today 2/09/24 @ 2pm holly molly mama mia the weather really carzy hot ! Nothing much to see cus some animal dissapear not sure what happend.
If i have to compare i have to said that this zoo is super spacious, they have lots of interesting souvenirs. They take good care of each animals, different area for each kind, amazing atmosphere. They also provide foods, entertain. Must go when come to Taiwan
好久沒來了，可愛的大貓熊又在睡覺了，時間來的不湊巧全午睡了，下次要早點到！
因為有帶小小孩所以在前往前就規劃要用餐，為了避開人潮在11點之前就先在一樓帶孩子認識貓熊，再到2樓餐廳用餐，比起其他園區商店餐飲的價格這裡真的相較舒適與划算，在這個館的餐廳有位置坐，還可以邊用餐邊看貓熊，搭配主題餐點孩子超級開心的！
用完餐再到隔壁的商店購物，讓孩子更願意待在這個園區裡面不吵鬧！還有室內廁所跟尿布台，可以說是整個園區最舒服的館。
有個小缺點，雖然有附兒童餐具以及水杯，但還是有一些水漬，餐具在清洗後沒有做好晾乾或消毒的味道，建議還是要帶自己的餐具與水杯來，整個園區蠻多地方有飲水機的很方便。
用完餐再到隔壁的商店購物，讓孩子更願意待在這個園區裡面不吵鬧！還有室內廁所跟尿布台，可以說是整個園區最舒服的館。

I think this was the nicest zoo we've ever been to. The entire place feels like walking through a rainforest! It's so relaxing and beautiful. The animals all have huge enclosures with plenty of places for them to rest or hide. It's also extremely affordable 😁
Such an expansive zoo! We managed 5 hours today and I’m not even sure we saw everything. There are SO many animals and for the most part they’re well kept and in fairly large enclosures. Most of the zoo is outdoors, so it was tough to visit during the summer (comfy shoes, a sun umbrella, and water is necessary!) but I hope to come back when the weather is cooler.
There are lil cafes and restaurants everywhere, fantastic souvenirs, and vending machines to help with hydration along the way. So fun! A must do if you visit Taipei.
AND most importantly - just 100 Taiwanese dollars per person! I couldn’t believe it🌴🐘🫶

平日來人很少，不用等太久就可以看到熊貓🐼
商店東西也不錯👍買了一隻熊貓背包當紀念品😍
還看到熊貓媽媽圓圓在玩耍，超級可愛的😍圓寶看起來也很開心，一直走來走去的～

好幾年沒有去木柵動物園，這次是因為去當志工，大熱天帶著一群孩子們去，雖然孩子們也快熱暈了，看到他們開心的笑容，一切辛苦也算是值得啦～
園區有很多地方雜草叢生，真該好好整修一下。

台北市的木柵動物園真的可以好好做個營銷、幫大熊貓館的場地再做個升級、相信有好的場地、熊貓們應該會更快樂.多做點活動讓更多人喜歡這些可愛的寶貝動物們.
🥰也謝謝飼養員把圓圓三熊照顧的那麼可愛、療癒🥹讓我們不用排隊很久就可以看到他們.在台灣真的是很幸福啊😊！
✅小小建議一下 熊貓🐼店的商品、種類太少、完全沒有很衝動想購買的意願..真的很可惜了可以強化周邊商品販售！
不過找了很久才買了一個髮圈跟鑰匙圈😂

A giant zoo that is affordable to visit and offers a wide array of animals to see. We had concerns about the health of one of the animals and emailed the zoo, which they clarified that the animal was actually one of the oldest around - we appreciated them addressing this concern.
The zoo is beautifully landscaped and is so clean.

The exhibits were huge, the animals look well taken care of. Highly recommend renting a stroller here for only NT50 with NT1000 deposit as it’s a reasonable price for a better experience (because the young kiddos will definitely fall asleep at some point 🤪)
There were sufficient toilets, water points, f&b stalls! Really convenient and helpful.
ALSO, we approached a Peacock and HE GLADLY UNFURLED ITS FEATHERS FOR US on cue 🦚??!! What a treat!
Lastly, we suggest taking the Mao Kong cable car entrance so that you make your way downhill rather than up!
All in all, a great time at the zoo!

We went on a Friday and got inside the park around 1:30pm! Plenty of people but it wasn’t too crowded; there was still length of walking space since the paths are wide. The portion of the park close to the entrance didn’t have much animals (hard to spot them, if they were there at all) but the park is simply massive and there is more to see the further in you go. If you want to explore the whole place at a leisurely pace, especially as a first time goer, I suggest going there when the park opens since there’s much to see. Going in the afternoon might cause you to rush.

Love that you can use the MRT card to visit. Kids 5 and under are free. It's hilly, but there is a train for $5NT that strollers can come on. Lots of different animals to see and a great kids' zoo area as well. They have different photo displays for the 110 birthday.
