A huge museum with authentic buildings from all over the Netherlands and from different time periods. Most of it is open and invites to inspect and explore (of course with being careful not to damage anything).
Volunteers in authentic clothing make it true living history. They are very knowledgeable and answer all questions you have. (As I know they are often looking for more volunteers!)
They organize special events for adults and kids alike.
Don't be fooled - it is so big and there is so much to do that you (almost) can't make it in one day (certainly not with kids and when you want to casually stroll).

Almost the bast zoo I have ever been. I like Bush and manatee theme area. When wandering in the park, you can see kinds of animals happily showing anywhere. Cool!
good museum, we can see and enjoy windmills, old farmhouses, traditional crafts and old way of dutch culture. and also we can use tram for visit around the place
Amazing place. The most beautiful thing here is aquarium. Our daughter (7 months old) liked fishes the most. Also, bushes(tropical area) is great and well connected with the desert via "Indiana Jones" tunnel 😀 p.s. the mangoforest with butterflies is super cool as well!
It is like a folk village basically. It consists of some themes and for each theme, we can see some buildings or some things to see. Depending on your interests, maybe it would be good to plan in advance what to see and what to skip. But personally, the trams within museum are super recommended. You can free to hope on and off, and at some point, and those are actually old Dutch trams, which were operated in Amsterdam, the Hague, and so on.
Sehr schön gestaltetes Museum. Leider lernt die Menschheit nichts, aber auch gar nichts, aus der Geschichte. Die Großen entscheiden und verdienen Geld und die Kleinen werden dafür geopfert 😥
Schönes kleines Museum über Operation Market Garden. Wenn einen das Thema interessiert muss man das mitnehmen! Und wer mehr will fährt nach Oosterbeek in das große Museum 👍🏻
Absolutely the best zoo I have ever been to. The enclosures are amazing, they are large and mimic the natural environment of the animal. The indoor pavilions are unreal, and the ocean one is better than any aquarium I’ve been to. 1000% worth visiting, you won’t be disappointed.
Had a great time overall. The different exhibits and biomes are fantastic, and there is a lot of variety. Plenty of restrooms and places to rest and have a snack. My only complaints are that it’s a bit difficult to navigate the Bush and Desert exhibits in some places. There isn’t enough signage or it’s too dark in some places.

For my first time I visited a Zoo since I was little and couldn’t remember. It was amazing seeing the animals with my family and friends. There is enough space to park, food is also great.

Es war sehr interessant. Unsere Mädels hatten viel Spaß beim Räteln. Und auch der Park drum rum ist wunderschön. Sehr sehenswert.

Sehr interessante Sachen über Wasser in den Niederlanden und allgemein. Viele Spiele und interaktive Filme lassen sich auch auf Deutsch oder Englisch umstellen. Die Angestellten sind auch sehr zuvorkommend und eine sprechen auch andere Sprachen
Wonderful open air museum with a lot of dutch old houses and windmills. Reserve a day here because there is a lot to see and you can also enjoy some refreshments and ice cream here.
Close to impossible to say enough about this extraordinary rural time machine. If you're of an age and even though you may know absolutely nothing about the history of the Dutch there is something to see and fascinate down every path. Young? You'll never get bored!!
Great hidden champion in the area. Totally deserves to be among the most visit museums in the Netherlands. If you have kids (ours age 2 and 4 at the time) take a Bollerwagen/ handcart and visit the place. Great kids playground, distances not to wide and the tram itself is great.

There is a lot to see here, with many facilities and is an excellent place for families. The tram route is also handy if you need it. Well worth a visit.

One of the best zoos I have ever visited! Ticket prices are ok (entrance and parking). Green areas in the zoo and surroundings are amazing (the Bush area is incredible). Caves and mines worth the visit! There is also a good aquarium. The 4 Restaurants have typical Dutch options and coffee. Staff is well trained and helpful! It absolutely worth the visit.
Such a wonderful place for these beautiful animals. The zoo is not only well maintained but the residents here are looking like they enjoy their life so much. Let alone the bush and the dessert area. Infinite fun 🤩
Tolles kleines Museum mit diversen Souvenirs. Der Eintritt ist frei, aber man sollte eine Spende da lassen. Es befinden sich viele Tafeln mit Erklärungen und Fotos.
Very nice museum, really interesting and diverse collection. Loved that there are actors who recreate what life used to look like. I found them to be very friendly and open for questions. Sadly a lot of the information was only available in Dutch, so something to keep in mind. But even so, very interesting.
Great experience with family in the zoo. A lot to see. Prepare to walk. Feels like in a tropical forest and on safari in certain sections of the zoo, there are indoor and outdoor sections. The cafe is great too for lunch, coffee and cakes.

Interessante Ausstellung zu der Schlacht von Arnheim. So kann mehr Details von damals erfahren. Eintritt kostenfrei!!
Beim Besuch in Arnheim, machte ich auch Rückblicke zum zweiten Weltkrieg, der dort war. Berührende Geschichte, fand ich mal. Sehr gerne wieder eure liebevolle Patricia-Achim
Ganz tolles und sehr interessantes Museum mit kostenlosem Eintritt. Die nette Dame erklärte uns die Geschichte und wir haben uns die zwei Filme angesehen. Da es ehrenamtlich betriebenen wird haben wir gerne etwas in die Spenden von geworfen. Vielen Dank!

Helemaal mooi. Gewoon oud
Was ein Reinfall ! Preis völlig überzogen: Erwachsene zahlen 11,50(!) € und Kinder ab 4 Jahre zahlen 8,50 € ! Was bekommt man dafür geboten: Wenig ! Viele Geräte sind kaputt, die gesamte Ausstellung und Technik ist in die Jahre gekommen und sehen nach 90er Jahre Stand aus. Ein Witz - damit kann man moderne Kinder von heute wohl kaum begeistern. Ich kann wirklich niemandem empfehlen hier hinzugehen. Für diesen Preis kann man viel besser einen Freitzeitpark besuchen.
Und das beste ist: Man kann dort weder mit Debit- noch mit Kreditkarten bezahlen - unfassbar ! Sehr unfreundlich für Touristen die außerhalb der Niederlande kommen !

Sehr schöne Gegend kann man gut spazieren gehen und Einkaufen..
Mooie poort wel, jammer dat er een slecht gelaste cirkel van schrootmetaal voor staat, waar je niet eens met je sportvliegtuigje een looping door heen kan maken.
Een geweldige plek voor iedereen ik kan iedreen uit het hele land te komen kijken hoe mooi Arnhem is

Helaas ingesloten tussen die verschikkelijk nieuwbouw van na de oorlog
Für deutschsprachigen Besucher sehr schlecht. Es gibt überwiegend nur Erklärungen in holländischer Sprache. Die wenigen Erklärungen auf Englisch sind viel zu kurz und viel zu wenig, nur banal. Die ganz wenigen Erklärungen auf Deutsch sind sehr fehlerhafte Übersetzungen. Wer nicht gut Holländisch kann, sollte nicht hingehen! Teuer ist es, 21 € für 2 Erwachsene. Dafür bietet es so gut wie nichts. Veraltete Computerspiele, Filme von Hochwasser auf Holländisch.
Een heerlijk park om doorheen te wandelen. Voor ieder wat wils. En aan aardig stuk losloop gebiedje voor de honden. Gezelligheid en theehuis waar vanaf woensdag tm zondag een bakkie te doen is of wat lekkers te eten.
Wunderschön auch mit kinder
Mooie bezienswaardigheid. Als je iemand kent die in het provinciehuis werkt, vraag hem/haar om een rondleiding!
