I never thought I’d be awe-struck by these statues but this was incredible not just because of the feat of structural engineering but the view, we chose not to go in the tower itself for access reasons but just take in the view over Lisbon. Plenty of parking shaded seating
A truly stunning location with perpetually clear skies. The city is impeccably clean and tidy. The panoramic view of Lisbon from there is breathtaking. It's conveniently located just a 20-minute bus ride from downtown. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit."
Jolie promenade au bord du Tage. Très belle vue sur Lisbonne. Accessible en sortant du ferry arrivant de Lisbonne. Ombragé et aéré le matin. Rafraîchissant l'été.
Sanctuary of Christ the King-Portugal is a statue of Jesus. If you are in the area, it is worth a visit, but the area is somewhat boring. You can get some nice photos of Lisbon from here, and if you are interested in airplanes, there is a good opportunity to fly spotting from here. There is free parking in the area, but otherwise the area is deserted. However, there are clean toilet facilities and they are free. If you wish, you can buy a ticket so you can go up to the statue of Jesus, where there is a lookout platform. We give this place 3 thumbs up. 👍👍👍
I would recommend this place, if you miss the opening hour of the statue - like us 😄
Awesome experience. View is phenomenal. Make sure to go there during non peak hours since wait time to go upstairs might take up to 2 hours. Best way to get back to the city is by ferry instead of taking the bridge.

Theres a very good view of the 25 April bridge from the base and top of this statue. Definitely recommend a visit.
You can also go up on the statue, the tickets are a little pricey though. I would personally not recommend going up the statue, since the view isn't much better anyway.
This place is also a very nice and cool place to see planes flying across! You can take photos of the planes with a nice background of the bridge too.

This is a 100m tall monument of Jesus overlooking the city and river from the cliff in Almada area. It was inspired by the statue in Brazil (much smaller than that in Brazil) The figure extends his arms as if he were to embrace this city at the top.
Due to its location (the highest in Almada)and size, this monument is visible almost anywhere near the Tagus and the view from this location or toward this is always amazing.
The only thing unsatisfactory is that it is not easy and convenient to get there by public transportation. However, it is quite worth visiting here. The moment you arrive, you may forget all those hassles with splendid view and slightly solemn atmosphere.

Amazing visit every time! The view never fails us. The place and the surroundings are very clean and maintained at high standards. You buy the tickets at the special machines in front of the souvenir shop. There is also a jice cafe but there are also places where you can sit and enjoy the silence.

Very nice place. The surrounding area around the statue is very nice as well. There is also a store where to buy food, hot drinks, or snacks. The view even from the square under the statue is nice and Lisbon looks just different. Worth visiting and waiting in that long Que for the elevator to the top of the statue. Thank you🤩

Attraction touristique située de l'autre côté de Lisbonne, aisément accessible en bateau.
Il s'agit du passage obligé pour se rendre au grand Escalator qui offre une vue magnifique.
Le chemin est parsemé de murs colorés et graffités. Il ne manque qu'une œuvre de Banksi.

Aún así, una zona con arte callejero muy bien bombeada, realmente un espacio único que conviene potenciar con un itinerario de arte callejero por todo el concejo de almada.
También tiene una vista magnífica y muy interesante de Lisboa y el puente 25 de Abril.
Todavía existe la necesidad de catalogar el arte callejero como lo ha hecho la colección de monumentos en Portugal.
