we are 2 women under 25 that stayed in here 1 night for a concert that ended up cancelled, when leaving our room around 7:50pm there was a man outside clearly drunk and eager to talk to us, they asked us where we were going and were pushy about “escorting us” to our location despite being told no, our instincts told us to run out while one guy insisted he’d get his shoes on, we quickly ran to the carpark across the road and hid behind a car as we watched them also run out of the hotel to see which direction we’d ran in, after we went into a public space for some drinks we came back to our room around 1am to find the same man hosting what can be described as a “house party” in his room, we darted for our room to which we were then questioned how our night was through a frantically locked door, we simply replied “good” and “goodnight” and rushed to push our bed against the door in fear of them somehow getting in, whilst hearing them state “they’re both beautiful”, under the bed which we moved we saw a condom and old perfume discarded beneath the bed (picture attached), we then started to settle but that didn’t last long as the drunken men knocked on our door and mimicked “room service” voices, we stayed silent. we had no way to reach the service desk in this scenario the phone rang out and the route to seek help was obstructed by the individuals responsible for torment, as someone left the hotel from the “house party” he remarked “there’s a condom for those” on his way out, when we woke up in the morning and got ready to leave we opened the door and there were condoms and banners strewn over the floor and brand new scrunchies wrapped around our handle that we didn’t purchase (see attached). on our way out we let the staff member know to which he said we should’ve come down to tell him, clearly unaware of how unsafe we must have felt, no refund was offered. we urge people (particularly women) to avoid this location

This place is incredible. I mean that. I've been going here for over a year now as a single man. Ive played with 23 women here in 12 months 👌
I've never not played here. Although I am very confident and not afraid to start up a conversation with anyone
On the weekends there are always loads of couples to play with.
The place is clean, cheep and a great atmosphere.
Honestly I didn't realise how good this place was until I started trying other places.
This is the place you want to go. I swear by it ☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️

Great little venue to watch local band Crook on the wall who done a top.set . Good independent beer selection , and great acoustics to the place made it a cool night of live music .

Me and my friends booked a bingo night with Funny Boyz for the time we were in Manchester. Unfortunately, it was very disappointing for us and was not up to our expectations. First of all, the booking said from 18 till 21:30. We were there at 18 and were told that we were very early. Then all of this hen parties started to come in. (I guess we missed that this was actually a straight girls party.) At around 19 we made it to our table, but then we realized that the bingo would not be starting very soon. The music : who let the dogs out and MacD, KFC and the Pizzahut. None of these songs will be played at a gay venue, but I guess that suits the taste of hen parties. The music was also very loud, that made it very annoying to sit there with your fingers up your ears. Then the "comedy" started. A drag queen with a d*ldo out while other queens lick it, pure comedy that we didn't see before. Still the bingo didn't start yet, two hours have passed and in the mean time all we could do is order drinks as that obviously the main goal of letting you wait for so long. None of the queens came to interact with us and focussed on the brides of the hen parties. We looked at our bingo card and it was as tiny as a stamp, if you had any 3 numbers it was a bingo. So even the bingo itself must have been boring to sit around and wait for the one number on your card to be called out. The prizes you could win? A dinner for two, a round of drinks or whatever, all of the prizes you can only spend in the venue itself. We left before the bingo even started, which we paid 28 pounds for. The venue itself was also very dark and outdated, and lights in toilet didn't work.

Conclusion: gays don't go here, unless you love hen parties. You will be having a great night elsewhere.

This is not a safe place. They allow notoriously vile people who do nothing but hurt the community into their establishments. They then allow them to get so drunk they make other people feel incredibly uncomfortable. This individual is also very well known for filing inside both men's and women's restrooms. I would not recommend. They put your safety and privacy at risk. What if somone who is not openly out was caught on film there and broadcasted to 400k people on social media? It's not a good look on the bar to allow this tiktoker. STEP UP!!

Every bouncer stepped up and offered 100% professionalism, kindness and humility when my epileptic mate passed out. They did not disregard my advice; they were gentle and respectful, and medically competent re epilepsy. I cannot fault them on patience and care. Their hour-long support was followed by the good work of the village angels. A mention to Paige and John who were darlings, but especially to Alison who really showed talent in her field, from listening with respect, to understanding of the needs of our friend. She was so patient and down to earth. Thank you sincerely for flawless work in unusual circumstances (for us at least) x

Es un lugar desagradable, optamos por tomar este hotel por unos días ya que estabamos de paso, muy lejos del centro de la ciudad, nos habían dado una habitación feisima justo al lado estaban con ruido y se sentía mucho olor a cigarrillo, nos tocó pedir cambio, el cual se realizo nos ofrecieron una habitación con baño ya que las otras no tiene nada de baño adentro Tienes que salir a buscar el baño afuera de las habitaciones, baños sucios, olían mal. En la habitación que nos dieron las almohadas viejas, sabanas y toallas con un olor feo. No recomiendo en absoluto este hotel deberían cerrarlo ya que esta viejo y en ruinas.

Avoid this place like the plague. I'd rather sleep rough than sleep here.

The room and bathroom was not clean at all. The bathroom floor was all smashed, shower wasnt clean. Bedroom floor was laminate that wasnt clicked together properly. And all walls were dirty. Cleaning lady walked in while i was laid on the bed just as i got there didnt clean any of the room, but mopped the floor. Had to keep ringing the buzzer to get into the hotel as no other way to get in. Came home with bites and feeling so disgusting.

One of the finest establishments I've ever stayed in all of England. These bad reviews are unfair. Excellent service from the owner who was very kind. Comfortable room with everything you need from a hotel. Will definitely stay again.

I stayed at one of the lowest rated hotels in the UK and left a positive review. the only rule… I cant lie. currently rated 1.7 out of 5, this place has more one star reviews than all the other stars combined. when checking into the hotel the man at reception was very nice and directed me to my room, that’s a star ⭐️As I entered my room I thought WOW what a view of Tesco Extra! Anyway… I had to use a UV light for any stains on my bed which I couldn’t find, That’s a Star ⭐️ I turn the TV on and (The Screen was smashed) I realised the hotel is helping me reduce my screen time so I can have a better sleep, That’s a star ⭐️ my plug in radiator had stabilizers so I decided to take it for a walk 🚶 which provided me with entertainment for the night 5 STARS! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Well... I'm not giving a zero star because I can't.
There was no one at the reception and we had to use a bell and wait over 5 minutes for someone to open the door.
The entrance of the hotel looked like a scene out of a zombie apocalypse movie. Dirty, smelly, and stuff all over the place.
The room that was provided to us looked like the perfect place to hide a dead body.
The gentleman at the reception was too busy multitasking at the laundryroom and that is the reason why it took so long for him to come open the door. He also wasn't the nicest.
Also the photos of the hotel do not match the reality of this horror scene.
If you're into this kinda freaky stuff feel free to stay, but if you're a normal functioning human being, do not waste your time and money.
I have nothing else to add to this review, I hope y'all get canceled.

Super impressed by this venue.
Went to see a live act and was initially skeptical, having not heard of the place before. I step into what feels more like a club setup but the sound was great.
All the acts were crystal clear. Enough space for a floor and standing room further away. Decent bar area as well.
Will be looking out for more gigs here.

We've visited the Rebellion many times, it's an absolute banging venue. All the staff are polite friendly and helpful. Good selection of Ales and drinks, seating area near the bar. Merch stands are on the upper level, it's quality and highly recommended. 🤘
