Chicken wings are really good for the price

Delighted to stumble across this restaurant on Portage! The decor and ambiance are beautiful, the pho was good and flavourful, and prices are more reasonable than I've seen in a while. Would definitely want to come back.

Best Chinese food in the city! Maybe tied with Marigold!

I have tried most of their pho that comes in large sizes and I can never get enough. I add the bean sprouts, lime, etc, and eat it completely! If I had to choose a last meal it would be from here. Really good bubble tea too but I miss that chilly sauce they used to have.

My girlfriend and I went here and unexpectedly found out that the owner was retiring! We are regular customers and we were always super happy with the service.

Thank you for all the yummy food, friendly talks, and always welcoming smile! There is much more to say but I can not find the words to express our gratitude.

You will be missed and have fun in retirement!

Used to love this place, haven’t ordered in a few years. Ordered what was supposed to be thick egg noodles that was my favourite before. Got something totally different with what looks like/tastes like instant noodles. The fried rice also used to be sooo good now it’s horrible. So disappointed

SO SAD THAT PHO WINNIPEG SHUT DOWN RIP TO THIS GEM!!! i have been coming here for quite some time now and i’ve never been disappointed. the food is always amazing, the service from the owner is family like. sure it’s beside lipstixx but you aren’t met with any sketchy people or anything weird. i would reccommend this place to anyone! always has me and my boyfriend drinking out of the bowl

Me and my friend were here around 7pm, but the restaurant was totally empty, unfortunately.
I am a big fan of pho soups and I would say that this one is my favorite!
I wish this restaurant have more customers.

Chicken Roti is one of the best food I ate. Their fish sauce makes it so delicious. Truly recommend it to all rice eater like me.
My kids always ordered Pho Deluxe. It has a taste that we can’t find in other pho house.

I orderd the beef vermicelli, i did order extra meat keep in mind because of my dietary needs right now and was very satisfied from this local business. The extra was only 5$ and well worth it as i like good extra toppings and am willing to pay a little extra.

Very friendly staff it was a little noisy as i was later in the night but to avoid that come earlier when the strippers arnt clapping there cheeks for old men for very little. Besides that not being the owners fault completely ill definitely be back for more delicious food.

I recommend it.

Dieses kleine Restaurant bietet sehr leckeres authentisches vietnamesisches Essen zu einem guten Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis. Service und Küche machen einen guten Job. Schade, daß es von außen durch die getönten Scheiben so aussieht, als wäre es geschlossen. Wir sind 3 Tage daran vorbei gelaufen. Verstecken sie sich nicht und präsentieren sie sich besser. 👍😋

Our table got an assortment of things but I think everyone really enjoyed their meal! I've been here a few years ago and they have since renovated- which is very beautiful! The service was good, and the food was good!

Great pho, great price, and great hours! Owner is incredibly kind and has a clear passion for service. Definitely check Pho Winnipeg out!

DETAILES REVIEW: there are a lot more Vietnamese restaurants in the city that serve better food. Pho Winnipeg is not one of them. It is only a one star review because it is the lowest I can give, and zero stars is not an option.

I have ordered a deluxe pho bowl and a pound of chicken wings through skip the dishes. The total was around thirty dollars including tax, delivery fee, and tip for my Skip driver. The actual total of the food was around 22.53 CAD.

The delivery came, and I encountered at least three problems:

1. The portions were small for a “large” deluxe pho bowl.
2. The noodles were undercook and soggy - as if it was sitting in a steel pot all day after being cooked.
3. The 1 pound of chicken wings they served me was six, small chicken wings in a tiny take-home box.

The food was not good. It was such a bad experience that I automatically felt upset for the people in the future who will have the same experience I just had. In the end, I was glad that I bought this food only for myself and not for my friends and family.

Please avoid this place.

#6 is some of the best spicy beef pho in the city. Truly amazing.

I definitely recommend this place. You can also enjoy some of their fantastic dumplings, spring rolls, or really anything else on the menu.
