Wir haben hier unsere Hochzeit gefeiert und es war einfach super! Wirklich, der Service und überhaupt die gesamte Planung waren einfach nur sehr gut! Vielen Dank dafür, auch wenn es schon knapp drei Jahre her ist.
Herzlicher Empfang, schönes Ambiente, nette Bedienungen. Unser 5-Gang Menü wurde einmal mit glutenfreien Options zubereitet, inklusive glutenfreien leckeren Brot - sehr schön, vielen Dank.
Alte Speisen wurden sehr schön angerichtet serviert, die einzelnen Komponenten auch gut erklärt. Insgesamt gesehen waren die Speisen lecker, aber zu wenig geschmacklichen Überraschungen. Gerade der Hauptgang hat uns nicht überzeugt, der hinschicken war leider etwas zäh, die einzelnen Komponenten waren gut, aber nicht mehr.
Für 89 Euro aber - auch wegen Ambiente am Wasser - in unseren Augen gerade noch angemessen.
Geärgert hat mich etwas der offene Wein, der mir pauschal 10 Euro pro 0.1l Glas schon erahnen ließ, dass man hier eher auf Masse setzt. Für einen immerhin gut trinkbaren Cuvee mit Flaschenpreis 12.50 Euro ein stolzer Preis. Auswahl gab es leider auch keine, da kann man sicher noch nachlegen.

We go to expensive restaurants often. After reading the website of this place we got skeptical and decided to skip this restaurant altogether. We just don't believe these people understand what a typical guest wants: good food in a friendly atmosphere. Simple as that! Instead their "philosophy" is really one common boring cliche phrase after another. It does not sound authentic to us at all. We believe a good cook can think outside the regular framework of what everybody else agrees to anyway. It is good to have a philosophy but we don't want to hear it. Instead we want to taste it when we sit at the table. We do not need any sense of "Sendungsbewußtsein" in a restaurant because it should be about the guest and not the owner. As a customer we want to be surprised with great skills, creativity and a friendly attitude. Berlin has a lot to offer!

The only photos I took during the entire meal, which was a first for me. They have an old school photo ban. You’re not allowed to take photos during service. Honestly, it was super relaxing and the food was incredible. An absolute amazing experience.

I visited in January and I’ve take the view that I wouldn’t give a poor review to a restaurant in difficult times.
However I went to a German Restaurant in Kings Cross in London and spent €50 on a meal which was much better in terms quality and taste than I experienced at this restaurant (where the bill was €700) and I felt I had to comment on this basis.
I would say it probably, on balance, was one of the worst high end restaurant I have visited.
The menu consisted of bed and butter (€30 extra), cabbage, mashed potatoes, leek with white sauce, and a bit of venison. Nothing was outstanding and most of it was quite bland although served like it was Michelin star.
Although the service and the atmosphere was very good, I wouldn’t return to this restaurant as I found the food cheap, poor value and bland.

Creative innovative food, well explained. Menu was somewhat repetitive with mostly celery and mushroom dishes. Service was a bit slow when restaurant was full. Too expensive.
It is so hard to describe how wonderful this restaurant is…it is like describing a perfect memory, which you can never quite depict accurately. The food was thoughtful and beautiful all while being fantastic. The staff from owner to Sommelier were attentive and friendly and the wine pairing could not have been better. I have been to many Michelin stars and mentions but this one has my highest marks.
Incredible culinary experience. The mix of taste, quality and perfect service makes the price completely in line with the overall experience.
A very enjoyable meal. Had some memorably tasty dishes, some with a lovely hit of heat - and some really noise inducing sauces. Overall, I felt I’ve had better value at comparable restaurants, the wine pairing especially was well thought through but could have been better value.

Perfect place for a date night or a meeting with friends. The stuff is very friendly and helpful. I’m sure everyone could fined something for themselves in their menu. The interior is modern and elegant.
Perfectly well-thought out meal with many surprises before, between and after the meal. Lots of small bites were given and not specifically mentioned in the menu which were the surprises. The small bites were also done with much finesse and effort. The mains were all fantastic using ingredients from various parts of the world and in perfect harmony with each mouthful. Definitely deserves that One star, maybe even more.
Mooi restaurant! Buiten moet je wel goed opletten want je loopt er zo voorbij. Binnen ziet het er echt top uit, vriendelijk personeel, lekker gegeten en gedronken. De prijs vind ik echter wel te hoog voor wat je krijgt.
Had a dinner at Restaurant Tim Raue a few weeks ago and had the Berlin-inspired menu. The food was, with the exception of the chicken fricassee, impeccable. A great way to celebrate a birthday or anniversary.
We had one of the most incredible Heilige Abend meals here in Berlin.
Besides the absolutely delectable food, the wine pairings from Lebanon, Syria, Palestine, Jordan & Israel were enlightening (I only learned yesterday that Jordan produces wine) and the Sommelier's knowledge covered not only the vintification, but also the creative ways that the winemakers have continued their art & traditions through disruptions caused by war, fleeing homelands and other political strife. There were even selections from Israeli female winemakers. Their dedication to selecting wines with soul, history and a story was truly the best part of the evening.
Truly one of the most mindful meals we have had a probably one of my top 3 meals, ever. Much better than recent 2 & 3 star meals we have had, for sure. I have never wanted to lick a plate more in my life. The struggle was real.
I also loved the music that was played. Modern & definitely helped transport you to the scenes of the cuisines.
They allow dogs, accept credit cards (even Amex) and you can tip via card.
We made reservations super-easily via the Fork app, which is free & English friendly.

The location is super! It’s quite close to the Brandenburger Tor, but the entrance is quite difficult to find, the name tag is really small, and the gate is small.
But once you entered, it’s totally a different t place, it’s very quiet and private. And it’s very interesting you will walk past by the kitchen (half glass walls), it’s very cool to see the kitchen and the staffs make long food for the guests.
The food is nice. I really like the break before main dishes, it’s really tasty and smells nice. And the salad is delicious with fresh ingredients. The fish I ordered is not that spicy as I imagined ( I saw they have Sichuan pepper in it, actually I’m from Sichuan, so I’m so interested in this dish, but I know only few people can stand that kind of spicy in Berlin, so that make sense).
Service is wonderful, very friendly and always care about your table and food. Thanks for the service offered by a female staff.

I really cannot see how this place is ranked so high. While innovation in cooking is always welcome, my experience was less about culinary excellence and more about an overwhelming clash of flavors.

Excellent French food. Was a bit pricier than expected based on the maps listing but it was well worth it. The steak and veal were both tender and juicy and falling apart. The mashed potatoes had huge slivers of real black truffle. Cocktails were also good, my wife enjoyed her French 75.

I vividly remember in 2018 sitting at the television in the living room of a home in Florida coming across your episode of Chef's Table on Netflix and upon starting it, I was instantly mesmerized with your restaurant, your food and with Berlin. I appreciated and connected with your story and felt so captivated learning about the winding road it took for you to open a 2-Star Michelin restaurant.
That is all it took for me have the desire to experience Restaurant Tim Raue in person. And so, a couple of Fridays ago I finally did. It was better than anything I could have imagined.
I was blown away by the service received at the restaurant from start to finish, as though everyone was moving in perfect harmony while playing a complex symphony. Upon being seated, we were tended to our every need and never felt neglected. I was looking forward to the menu being served and loved that I got a card outlining every single dish being presented that evening to me.
Now, if we're taking food, I am so happy that I entrusted my palette to your kitchen. Every course was so perfectly presented and upon tasting it, I was met with a spectrum of flavors that worked so harmoniously well together. If I had to pick my favorite course, it would definitely be the Wasabi Langoustine. I had wanted to try it every since I saw it on Chef's Table and it was divine. I also tasted things I hadn't ever tried before, like imperial Caviar with sprat, which blew my mind with its umami flavor and wagyu beef cheek, which was braised to perfection.
I really am so grateful to have had the privilege to dine at your restaurant. It is the single most memorable food experience I have ever had in my life and I will never forget how special I felt and how immaculate the food was. Please continue inspiring everyone at your restaurant to doing amazing work so that many more people can experience the unbridled joy I felt with every moment dining at Restaurant Tim Raue.

Hands down the best restaurant I’ve been in Berlin in terms of service. They really pay attention to minor details and super attentive and friendly. Loved the food though. Kudos to the whole team
It’s kind of tricky to find because it isn’t hugely signposted and you enter into the kitchen before the dining room and it feels a bit strange. But then you’re blown away by a stunning restaurant once you come in the second door. Absolutely beautiful place to eat, very fancy. Super nice staff, they really care for your needs and always come and ask if everyone is okay, and pour more water / wine for you. Entrecôte medium rare was a little too rare but super delicious.
Every dish of the 6 course menu was delicious, taste and textures perfectly balanced, everything on time, excellent wine, friendly and professional staff. well selected background music - a perfect evening

Beautiful location. Attentive staff. Bistro Menu delicious. Highly recommend for Sunday afternoon or early evening bite to eat
What an amazing restaurant! We can’t forget about the chicken we had and all the experience was so amazing. You guys should defo have a second star.
Was a bit of a bumpy start as I had informed my husband was vegetarian and I did not eat veal and both was not considered until I reminded them. Could not have 8 course menu as they only do a six for vegetarian. Husband sat without a drink for 45 minutes as only I wanted champagne, no alternative offered and no wine list brought until we asked. After that everything went smoothly, food was lovely. Champagne was €31 for a small glass and water €12 for 75cl, most I remember paying and I am fortunate to have eaten in over 100 Michelin restaurants. The view is great over the city and perhaps we just had an unlucky start so would give a try if you like nice food with a view and are in Berlin
Our visit to Tim Raue Restaurant was nothing short of exceptional. With a five-course tasting menu that was nearly perfect. Maybe less precised compared to Jan Hartwig, but the experience left us thoroughly impressed.

ich fand es sehr lecker, die verschiedenen Aromen waren mal etwas Neues. Ich war im November da und kann mir vorstellen, dass es besonders im Sommer sehr schön ist, draussen zu Essen. Aber auch drinnen fand ich es sehr gemütlich.
One of my favorite restaurants in the world. Although prices have more than tripled, it’s still worth it (but it hurts to pay 200€ instead of the 80€ that it was years ago. But I understand. Supply and demand, as well as inflation). However the price shouldn’t stop you from enjoying this wonderful place with its unique concept, great food, special wines, juices and drinks as well as spectacular service.

My partner, mother in law and I enjoyed a stunning meal at Tulus Lotrek. Even before arriving, they were super responsive by phone and email, and that was a perfect demonstration of what was to come.
On arrival we were warmly greeted and shown to our table. The menu was explained and questions we had were confidently answered. We then embarked on a delightful, fantastic and utterly delicious culinary adventure. We had some very interesting dishes, all super well executed and stunning to look at. Creative and innovative things coming out of the kitchen, leaving you excited for the next dish to come.
The restaurant team were absolutely fantastic from start to finish, warm, accommodating and super knowledgeable. We don’t have many splurge meals a year, but we all came away from TL feeling very happy. The alcohol free drinks paring was super complex and all produced in house! Highly recommend, go and enjoy every bite and drop. Sorry was enjoying the food too much to take pics!

Immer wieder ein tolles Erlebnis. Die Küche überrascht den Gaumen durch eine exotische Auswahl an Gewürzen und Zutaten und das Auge freut sich über die kleinen Kunstwerke auf dem Teller. Sehr empfehlenswert. Die Fotos sind von meinen zwei letzten Besuchen im Prism.

Ein Punkt Abzug ist jedoch notwendig: Obwohl uns kurz erklärt wurde, was serviert wird, hätten wir uns gewünscht, dass uns nähere Details zur Geschmacksrichtung und zur Kombination der Zutaten mitgeteilt worden wären, so wie wir es aus anderen Sterne-Restaurants gewohnt sind. Wir mussten mehrmals nachfragen, um genauere Informationen über die auf dem Teller angerichteten Zutaten zu erhalten. Diese zusätzlichen Erklärungen hätten unser kulinarisches Erlebnis sicherlich noch weiter bereichert.

Das besondere Ambiente auf dem Schiff rundete den Abend ab. Das i-Tüpfelchen für uns war ausserdem die Brotauswahl. Sooo lecker! Preis-Leistung ist wirklich klasse. Die Küche geht in Richtung Sterneniveau. Werden wiederkommen :)
Wir haben wieder ein tolles Menü genossen und sind noch heute am schwärmen. Die einzelnen Gänge sind ein Traum für Sinne und bringen die Geschmacksknospen durch die Gewürze zur Explosion. Die Küche versteht es die Sinne auf Reisen zu schicken, die Produkte sind sehr hochwertig und die Verarbeitung in den Gängen sind grandios. Die Weine zu den einzelnen Gängen sind perfekt abgestimmt und man bekommt die Auswahl am Tisch super erklärt. Auch auf den Wunsch für den ein oder anderen Gang eine alkoholfrei Alternative zusätzlich zu bekommen wurde sofort umgesetzt. Ein fantastisches Team, ein super entspanntes Ambiente bescherten uns wieder einen atemberaubenden Abend und wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch. Das war unser dritter Aufenthalt im Prism und genießen es jedes Mal. Danke an das gesamte Team
Wir haben heute unseren Hochzeitstag dort verbracht und man kann nur sagen, es war eins unseren besten Essen. Das Ambiente auf dem Schiff ist hervorragend und der Service war überragend. Alle extrem freundlich und jedes Essen wird dir genau erklärt was auf dem Teller ist. Man kann nur sagen " Danke" für diesen tollen Abend und wir werden wiederkommen.
Das PATIO bietet einen wunderbaren Blick auf die abendliche Spree und auch sonst ein sehr schönes Ambiente.

Disappointed by the lunch menu. Overshadowed by acidic tastes on three dishes. Specially the Dim Sum (Duck a l'orange) which only tasted acidic. That it took 45 minutes to arrive didn't help either. Between dishes 3 and 4 out of 8 on offer on the complete lunch menu. Not a single word in the way of an apology, despite the swarm of personnel in the service area. Will probably not visit again for a long long time.
Dekoration und Qualität des Essens, definitiv Sterne Niveau. Service hat leider nicht gestimmt (siehe unten) und mir persönlich hat hier die gewisse Würze gefehlt, es war schon lecker aber irgendwie hat geschmacklich etwas gefehlt. Bei der Vorspeise war der Zander mit Eis - ich mag kein Eis - leider war die Info aber nicht auf der Karte. Dann hatten wir noch eine Situation mit der asiatischen Kellnerin, die ich nicht so angenehm fand. Mein Onkel wollte gerne noch ein Stück Brot, da unser Brot schon alle war, er aber immer gerne die Soße dippt zum Abschluss. Die Kellnerin hat uns aber gesagt, dass das nicht geht und sie uns nur nochmal das ganze Brotgedeck mit Butter bringen kann. Da er ungern Sachen wegschmeißt - wollte er natürlich kein komplett neues Gedeck mit sechs Brotscheiben und Butter. Resultat er hatte dann gefragt ob er nicht doch nur ein Stück haben kann, was sie erneut verneinte und dann schon direkt seinen Teller abräumte. Als wir dann bezahlen wollten, war sie leider auch nicht aufmerksam. Bis auf die Situation dort war es sehr nett, alle waren freundlich, dennoch fand ich ging das gar nicht. Hier wäre es glaube ich besser gewesen uns einfach noch zwei Scheiben Brot zu bringen und uns das entsprechend zu berechnen.
Super dinner. It's worth every penny. Please, don't miss this food experience while in Berlin.

What a great dining experience! The food was unique, the wine was perfect and the staff attentive. The kitchen was able to accommodate one of our folk who had a lactose intolerance without any fuss.
The sommelier gave us perfect recommendations on pairings that completed the meal. One of the best dining experiences I have had.
We have now been a 2nd time and it was even better than last time.. Can't wait to come back again and try the new format when it is released!
