Though I obtained a public defender due to my financial situation, she failed to mention I would pay 2000$ for a trial I didn’t even need. Please do better to inform your clients of the potential costs. When I left my final trial I was told my costs would be around 250$ for one thing plus some other fee. NOT 2200$! I would have never gone that far in fighting it if I had known this.
