Größter Flughafen Deutschlands. Vereinzelt gibt es tatsächlich kostenlose Wasserspender. Genau auf die Wegweiser achten. Das Gelände ist sehr groß. Seelsorgerisch wird man breit betreut (Christentum, Judentum, Moslem ...).
An sich alles in Ordnung.
Heute gab es nur Schwierigkeiten mit dem Gepäck und wir mussten 1,5h darauf warten. Das war sehr ärgerlich und bei so einem großen Flughafen unverständlich, da es ja mehrere Gepäckbänder gibt, die auch frei waren. So eine lange Wartezeit habe ich aber sonst noch nie gehabt.
Bei meinen vielen Reisen, kann ich mich nicht dran erinnern, dass man irgendwo Geld bezahlen muss um ein Gepäckwagen zu bekommen. Wenn man das Geld wieder zurück bekommen würde, beim zurück geben des Wagens, dann könnte ich es noch verstehen.

Sehr Personen orientiert hier wird einem geholfen man.muss allerdiengs viel laufen da das Gelände riesig ist.
Bin von Antalya nach Frankfurt gereist, hat alles reibungslos geklappt.
Immer ein tolles Erlebnis hier Am Flughafen. Da muß man schon einen Ganzen Tag oder Zwei einplanen um Alles zu sehen. 👍😎✈️✈️🛫
The Frankfurt Airport is Germany largest Gateway into Europe and connection to further German cities. The airport is comprehensive and easy to navigate. Nevertheless FRA is outdated. It’s not maintained well and does not provide the latest standards like modern airports of this size. It’s happening again and again that the flight bridges don’t operate properly and many other technical issues that delay flights and make travelling from/via FRA rather painful. Additionally it is a very expensive airport. Ticket prices out of Frankfurt are usually much higher than the equivalent destination but flying it of Dusseldorf, Berlin or Stuttgart. Overall FRA airport is good but a great day can easily turn into a mess because of its many technical problems. If those got solved it would get a 5-Star rating!
Klappt immer alles sehr gut. Alles sauber auch Toiletten.
Alles in allem 4 Sterne. Gibt viel zu entdecken auch wenn man nicht fliegt. Besucherzentrum, Rundfahrten, Indoorspielplatz und vieles mehr... Für die hohen Parkgebühren ziehe ich einen Stern ab.
One of the largest airports in Europe. Unfortunately the security is so slow and even with 2-3 hour layovers you can easily miss your connecting flight. I would recommend at least 4 hours for international flight connections. Be prepared to go through customs and security multiple times before connecting. Also one thing that needs to be mentioned is, even if you are at the gate, you are really not at your gate to board. Most likely you’ll take a 15-30 min bus ride to your plane middle of nowhere. I wish they streamline the connecting flight process. Also get rid of buses.

When you go to the airport, any airport, you are full of stress for everything to go right. But when I visit this airport, somehow everything goes smoothly. I heard bad stories from bad/rude people. Well , I haven't see any one them, yet. Every time I sk staff about flights etc , They assist me without hesitation.
I was on a fly-through from Toronto to Helsinki with this as a layover. I had four hours of waiting. It was initially difficult to find out where my next flight was going to be arriving at - the screens might not have even shown Helsinki on there - but after connecting to free wifi, I found my way to the free shuttle, which arrives every couple minutes to take us on a short ride.
Seeing all the inner machinations of the airport made me think of the grace and beauty of Indian art combined with the steely efficiency of an advanced automaton army. That isn't to perpetuate a stereotype or anything; it just was the most amazing looking airport. It was clean, it had the right amount of shine, the early morning arrival and the chilled yet cozy interior reminded me of how much I love life. I may never visit Frankfurt proper, but this airport is just the best one I have ever visited. Forget the kids crying and kicking my seat about the crew pausing their Paw Patrol the sleepless night before, it was a brand new day.
Anyway, enough fawning over an airport. I had to go to gate A to meet the Helsinki flight, and because it is a Schengen country, there was border security. It was a long line, but they had plenty of officers who did their job thoroughly and concisely, yet within good time. I barely had a chance to put my bag down from exhaustion before the line moved and I had to move forward. I still had two hours for my flight, so I took a deserved nap.

4 Jahre nicht mehr da gewesen und nicht wieder erkannt.
Ach ja Verspätungen hatte ich noch gar nicht erwähnt (40 min im Flieger und im Bus gewartet. Zum Glück war der Anschlussflieger auch 40 min verspätet

Great airport experience. They have a gaming lounge opposite gate A52. Near the same location, there is also a Camel smoking lounge.
Overall clean and well signposted. You even see some people cycling on the small blue bikes. There are also lots of seating available near the gates. As well as device charging and high seat area for working. It's a proper big airport.

The design is straightforward and well-organized, making check-in and preparing for the gate a breeze. Easy access between terminal 1 and terminal 2 via tram and bus adds to the convenience. The shopping experience was delightful, and the Christmas decorations were truly impressive. 😄🎄☃️

Wahrscheinlich wurde nach COVID zu viel gespart, bzw es muss immer noch mehr neues Personal eingestellt werden. Dementsprechend in Teilen auch langsam und chaotisch.

Dieser Flughafen ist zwar sehr groß mit kilometerweiten Gängen, aber trotzdem übersichtlich ausgeschildert. Von einem Terminal zum anderen zu gelangen, ist kein Problem. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich gewesen, auch von den einzelnen Airlines. Ebenfalls sind die Parkplätze sehr gut angeordnet, dass man sein Auto nicht erst suchen muss. Daher gibt es 5 Sterne von mir.

Kaffeeautomaten sowie Getränke und Essen konnte man Vorort kaufen.
Wer eine gute Geldbörse hat, da einpaar Wiener ca 7,90€ kosten und Kaffee aus dem Automaten 2,95€ was noch erschwinglich ist.

Schöner moderner Flughafen. Auf den Straßen wird viel umgebaut, aber irgendwann ist es ja fertig. Dann gibt es sogar das 3. Terminal. Um jemanden abzuholen, können kostenlose 10 Minuten Parkplätze genutzt werden! Sehr vorteilhaft bei beiden Terminals. Gibt auch viele X-Busse, die zum Flughafen fahren. Einfach mal erkundigen.
Es ist halt ein sehr großer Flughafen, die kleinen Flughäfen im Ausland finde ich besser! In Frankfurt ist alles so weitläufig und bei der Landung hatte ich bis jetzt immer Probleme bei der Gepäckausgabe!

Waiting for 1.5 hours for my luggage. Missed my train. You think we have nothing else to do in our life and can easily spend hours to get our luggage.shame on you!!
Katastrophe bin hier in letzen 4 wochen öfter gelandet entweder werden die koffe beschädigt oder man muss 2 stdunden auf sein koffer warten. Sollten sich mal das von Istanbul Flughafen abschauen. Einfach nur katastrophe frankfurter flughafen!!!!!! Laut mitarbeiter soll es sogar 2 stunden dauern.

Aucune organisation et aucune volonté d'aider ou d'améliorer la situation.
Pensez aussi à éviter Lufthansa, le service rendu est horrible et le surbooking intense.

If you have a choice, avoid Frankfurt Airport.
Walking times are already ridiculous compared to other big European airports. And then, after finally arriving at the luggage pickup one still has to wait 30 minutes plus for the luggage. I have never seen this before anywhere else.

A Chaotic Nightmare: Fraport Falls Below Third-World Airport Standards Rating. Frankfurt Airport, or Fraport, is an embarrassment to the aviation industry. Even in third-world countries, airports manage to provide a better experience than this chaotic mess.
Even if your luggage makes it onto the security check belt, don't expect to ever see it again because Fraport couldn't care less about your belongings. To make matters worse, the staff's attitude matches the chaos of the airport itself. Rudeness and indifference seem to be the norm here.
If you value your sanity, your luggage, and your overall well-being, I implore you to avoid Fraport at all costs. Save yourself the headache and opt for a different airport where your journey can begin and end on a positive note.

We booked a Business flight for an imternational flight. This allows us to come late (so no need to be 3h before on the airport). So how was our surprise to have NO FAST LANE for security check!!!! 1 hour in the row, no time for the lounge and almost lost our flight!! This because they have not enough staff??!! The minumum service would have been to send an email to their guests and inform them about that!!
Man findet auf dieser, fast 5 Hektar großen Fläche nahezu alles was das Herz begehrt. Das Atrium wirkt hell, freundlich und übersichtlich. Hinzu kommt, was ich ganz speziell erwähnen möchte, die absolute Freundlichkeit des Personals. Egal wen man um Auskunft bittet, stets erhält man eine freundliche und kompetente Antwort. Auch die Ausschilderung ist übersichtlich und eindeutig. Auch die sanitären Einrichtungen sind sauber und gepflegt. Eine wirklich gute Visitenkarte unserer Region.
Excellent pour passer un peu de temps avant un long courrier .... Surtout quand on arrive plus tôt que prévu !
