This is my favourite hotel hands down in Montreal. The location is stunning. The hotel is very clean and an amazing mix of contemporary within an old historic renovated building. The rooms are unique and beautiful. Highly recommend.
Warning!! If you're staying on a weekend please choose another hotel. If you're even thinking of another hotel book that one! Super regretting our choice.
The rooms facing the club across the street are completely untenable. The music blasts so loudly and people scream all night in the street. Waited until 430am for it to stop all nights.
*The staff here 100% know this and intentionally did this.* They'd moved us from our originally booked rooms to these upon check in. I'm seeing other reviews that also got "upgraded" to these rooms. The staff at the front said they do this (bait and switch) with "Expedia" rooms when they're fully booked. So they basically did this knowingly. It's really unconscionable. They offered us free breakfast, this is not worth no sleep. They then charged us tax on free breakfast which costs $30. So be warned if you hear "we've upgraded you to a suite" turn it down please please please. They ruined our weekend with our parents.
Imagine paying so much for one of the "best hotels in Montreal" and not being able to sleep. We're used to noise living downtown in a major city trust me nice beds and more space aren't worth this.
If I can warn any other person to not stay here I would, please read some other reviews experiencing the same thing.
