I had an amazing first time experience staying at this wonderful hotel. Every staff member is polite, friendly and courteous. We got top notch service and the english breakfast was amazing!!! Me and my wife are both vegan and they had a full English breakfast and it was one of the best meals ive had in a long time. The staff make you feel.comfortable and at ease. My absolute favorite staff member was the doorman Steve he was just a great guy had some really fun banter and shared some jokes and laughs. Amazing experience I highly recommend you stay at this hotel
Wow!!! We do not usually stay at fancy places like this but decided to splurge and this was absolutely an overwhelming experience. Great, friendly atmosphere and service. Location is great as it’s right across the street from Hyde Park and Kensington Palace. Easy walk to Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey/Big Ben. We had afternoon tea which was a first for us. Really neat. The restaurant was excellent. Cheesecake was out of this world. It is expensive but highly recommend.

Gorgeous setting to enjoy the most fantastic cocktails ever created. The service is unmatched, and the little touches, like giving you the recipe card for the cocktail you order really make the experience out of this world. Very much worth a visit
The Milestone hotel exceeded our expectations in every way and through each staff interaction. I really do not have any criticisms with this hotel. It is conveniently located near about two train stations so it is easy to travel via different lines to anywhere in the city. I will be staying at the Milestone again and again in the future, every other hotel just doesn't even compare.

We stayed here at Christmas and the whole family loved it so much, our kids (both under 10) are still talking about it four months later. The hotel went above and beyond to make Christmas perfect, with Santa making a surprise appearance at dinner with a bag full of gifts, thoughtful surprises left in the room, ballet dancers performing in the lobby during tea, a wonderful carriage ride around the neighborhood—and on and on. Just unexpected delights everywhere. Normally I would not leave a review so long after the stay, but after spring break at a really fabulous beach resort my kids were ranking their all time favorite hotels, and they volunteered that the Connaught was still at the top. So I felt I would be remiss not to leave a review.

One of the best hotels in London. So is the restaurant! Perfect! Service is displayed on a supernatural level. Old school is very hard to beat, in every way in our lifes. This place is old school!
Welcome home is the feeling you will get here.

It was pouring with rain so we popped into the Goring for a pot of tea. We were made to feel very welcome by all the staff. We were going to leave and it started raining again so we decided to stay for lunch, we had the smoked salmon, club sandwich and the Burrata. All delicious and we can’t wait to go back. Best club sandwich I have ever had.

The Goring is everything that an incredible hotel needs to be .
I’ve was fortunate to stay four nights and was truly delighted , thank you so much Goring and staff.
The service is impeccable but definitely retaining genuine warmth and a wonderful consideration of guests .
It’s a boutique family owned hotel , passed down through the generations , that has crafted a standard of hospitality that’s spot on . Very British and not in the least pretentious .
The food on offer has been wonderful ! The rooms are excellent too , again reflecting a particular warmth . They’re uniquely styled , my room had an incredibly beautiful silk wallpaper .
The location is superbly quiet yet right in the centre of London .
Thank you Goring for doing what you do so well , you’re individual and remarkable .

The Twenty Two in Mayfair is a hidden gem that offers a unique and luxurious dining experience. The elegant decor and impeccable service create a sophisticated atmosphere, while the menu showcases refined and high-end dishes. The grilled langoustines and Dover sole meunière were standout dishes, and the extensive wine list complemented the meal perfectly. The Twenty Two is a perfect spot for a special occasion or a night out in Mayfair.

An outstanding stay, the attention to detail was perfect from the doormen to the restaurants. You had me at the glass of champagne during check in. Cake and Bubbles was fabulous too. Highly recommended. Thank you
The only reason the marks aren’t top, top are the tech in the room wasn’t great.
Lovely hotel amazing staff so friendly helpful welcoming and chatty which makes the experience better! The rooms are good size the beds are comfy and just overall good. The bathroom is tiny but manageable which is expected in the area of London. The wee bar lobby is a good spot esp for cuppa coffee or for whatever ya need from snacks to beverages. Great location just a 8 mins walk from Victoria station .
Free continental breakfast small variety very basic but still fills the stomach.

I’ll definitely rebook this again when I come back
Had booked two nights at the Palace court hotel, but we could only sleep there one night because of mice, mold and fire alarms that went off at regular intervals. So we booked a night at the Sidney hotel and it was like walking from hell straight into heaven. Pure luxury. Showers that worked, no mold and heating system that could be regulated. Really recommend this hotel.
Absolutely fantastic experience staying at the Milestone. Staff, ambiance, food, drinks, service all 5 stars. We stayed for two nights and arrived after an overnight flight from DC - our nerves were shot and we were immediately welcomed at the Milestone and felt able to rest & recharge. The room was lovely - clean, comfortable, roomy and stylish. Location is perfect, just a 7 minute walk to the High Street station, great food/shopping and right on the corner of Hyde park with a view of Kensington palace. 100% will stay again.

Didn't stay at the hotel, but had a couple of martinis at the bar. First up, it's a very swanky place, a beautiful building. The bar is incredibly popular and gets very busy, and it's usually not possible to reserve a table, however you can stand at the bar and have a drink while you are waiting for one to free up, and the staff will help with that. The martinis themselves were excellent; it seems they are constantly experimenting with new ideas and flavours. The staff were friendly and helpful and overall it was a lovely experience. The atmosphere is great. It's not snooty like a certain place nearby known for its martinis (Dukes). Would definitely recommend.
Great place to visit and eat. The quality of the food and service is second to none. Wine is a bit expensive to my taste, but you are in Mayfair so understandable. I had the octopus....excellent
Great location as we needed to go to the American Embassy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was small but very clean and big enough for us. Tiny bathroom but sufficient. Safe and tea/coffee facilities in the room. Had complimentary continental breakfast which was very nice. Very close to an Indian Restaurant that we went to for dinner.
From the moment my girlfriend and I stepped into The Milestone Hotel in Kensington, it was evident that we were in for a special treat. Celebrating her birthday, our experience was nothing short of spectacular, owing to the extraordinary services and amenities provided by the hotel.

Right from the outset, the doorman greeted us with the warmest welcome, setting the tone for our entire stay. It is not every day you meet staff so genuinely dedicated to making guests feel valued and special. The exceptional service continued throughout our visit, with every member of the staff going above and beyond to ensure our stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

One of the highlights of our stay was the hotel's concierge service, which proved invaluable in helping us navigate the city and make the most of our time in London. Their expertise and willingness to assist were immensely appreciated.

Adding to the luxury were the unique services offered by the hotel, such as the 24-hour complimentary shoe cleaning service, ensuring we were always looking our best, and the round-the-clock room service that catered to all our needs, regardless of the hour.

The hotel's restaurant was another major highlight. We were treated to an amazing breakfast that truly set the standard for dining excellence. The quality of the food, combined with the lovely atmosphere of the restaurant, made for an unforgettable dining experience.

Our room was a masterpiece of design, adorned with stunning artwork and remarkable finishes on the door frames and furniture, creating a truly luxurious and comfortable environment. It was the perfect retreat after a day of exploring London.

In conclusion, our stay at The Milestone Hotel was an unparalleled experience. The dedication and attention to detail by the staff made my girlfriend's birthday celebration incredibly special. We left with cherished memories and look forward to returning to what we can now call our home away from home in Kensington.

Just finished a fantastic stay at the Goring. It was our first time visiting the hotel, a special trip for my mother in law's birthday. The staff were so attentive even before we arrived, when I emailed about the birthday and they said they'd leave a bottle of champagne in her room with their compliments. The staff couldn't do enough for us and were friendly, efficient and obviously great at their jobs - giving us a brief tour of the hotel on arrival, showing us to our rooms personally, fetching black cabs to the door for us and arriving with an umbrella to the taxi door in the rain!

The hotel rooms were beautiful, with lovely touches like the little Goring sheep to take home, a gorgeous turn down service and other treats like lip balm, pillow mist, fruit and even a jar of jam!

The ambience in the bar area was lovely, with great cocktails and bar food too. The live pianist on Friday night provided a warm atmosphere, which never felt stuffy.

The dining room was closed for renovation during our stay, so we had breakfast in the Veranda - the food was delicious with plenty of choice and again, nothing was a problem for the staff. Lovely views of the garden.

Location was super, a short stroll from Buckingham Palace, Victoria etc. Everywhere was really accessible.

Though expensive, it's well worth the money and the personal touches throughout. I hope I get to return in the future!

I went to the Oscar Wilde Lounge yesterday for my partners birthday and it was a lovely experience. The decor was stunning and the service was amazing. We were served by Gift and David - both were super polite and were really attentive. The food was scrumptious and the ambience with the live piano player was delightful. The cherry on top was when they sang 'Happy Birthday' and brought a cute little cake with a candle :)

As a frequent patron of this club and restaurant, the ground floor / main floor restaurant was extremely incompetent and rude staff ranging from rude hostesses, nonexistent waiter, and snotty "so called managers" who did nothing to improve their service. The food was good but there are no staff that wait on tables and then they remind you constantly throughout the meal that you have less than 2 hours to eat your meal even when there is no waiters around to pour wine and bus plates.
What a lovely place! We had a catered tea. The staff was wonderful. The food was delicious! They were able to accommodate ALL the dietary needs of our guest. Tim was wonderful in offering advice on where to go after our event. Looking forward to working with them again.

The roast dinner at Twenty Two was delightful, succulent meat cooked to perfection, accompanied by golden, crispy roast potatoes and an array of beautifully cooked seasonal vegetables. The flavors harmonize flawlessly, creating a comforting and satisfying meal that feels like a warm hug on a plate. The rich, flavorsome gravy ties everything together, adding that extra touch of deliciousness.
Visited the Stables cocktail lounge in the Milestone Hotel. The staff and atmosphere was first class! Our server, Antonia, was lovely, attentive and very helpful with directing us on choosing a specialty cocktail. We enjoyed chatting with her and she was genuinely appreciative and interested in us as patrons. I highly recommend going for cocktails here and enjoying all it has to offer. Loved it so much that I wanted to book a room there! Enjoy!

The Twenty Two is a beautiful luxury hotel, the staff are very attentive and friendly and you feel comfortable the moment you walk into the reception. However I dropped a star for a few reasons.
1. The private members club attached had DJ entertainment on the first night I stayed so it was like trying to fall asleep over a nightclub, so I hardly slept that night (it was quiet the second night and rather lovely)
2. The shower/bath looked beautiful but was really hard to get in and out of, definitely designed for aesthetics not function (see photo)
3. Slight lack of attention to luxury details (ok this one may seem petty but it is a luxury hotel in Mayfair) there was no nighttime bedside carafe of water on the second night, which was disappointing. I realise this was only tapwater, but still…
Our favourite place to stay in London. We have just spent a wonderful 3 nights at the milestone.
The staff are so lovely and attentive, nothing seems to be to much trouble for them, If it enhances your stay.
The breakfast and afternoon tea both deserve a special mention, and personally, I think you would struggle to find better.
We will be returning very soon

We went here last Saturday for a birthday, and honestly not much to say. The food was good especially the crab paccheri as well as the cauliflower starter, the staff were great and the venue is gorgeous. The drinks were also amazing!
Here are just some minor feedback points :
- When bringing the new drink, take away the empty glasses
- Don’t remove plates without asking e.g. for example waitress removed plate that still had plenty of sauce for my croquettes that I wanted to dip in but she was so quick and removed it that I didn’t have the chance to say anything (it’s a minor thing, but it does add to the entire experience)
