We tried the semi-private wind foil lesson for two people and had a blast!
Yohan catered very well to our non-existent skills so that we were quickly able to make progress and continue in the water.
We will definitely continue with learning wind foil and of we are in Cabarete we will pick this school.

It was a really good experience! The instructors were amazing and very patient with beginners. It's a beautiful spot with mellow waves for beginners. At least when we were there. 5/5 would recommend.

Tracy was extremely helpful in planning my husband and I’s first trip to Kite Beach. It will certainly not be our last! We did the all-inclusive 7-day package, which included accommodation, 9 hours of lessons, and 6 meals. She assisted with everything from airport transportation and hotel arrangements. We stayed next door at the Kite Beach Inn. It was basic, but their hotel manager, Kenny, was very accommodating and friendly.

Their instructors were thorough and patient. Wilson, my instructor, is full of experience and couldn't have explained the concepts any better. Unfortunately, we lost a few days due to lack of wind but made up for the time towards the end of our trip. We left there with basic knowledge and techniques that we can use back home and continue our progression.

We can’t wait to come back and visit the crew!!

Very nice surf lessons with a very good and patient teacher. He is totally flexible and is going with the progress of the students. Good price as well.

I came to the DR with friends who knew how to kite board and knew I wanted lessons and have no regrets going with Kite Point! It was an amazing spot to learn with amazing staff. Felt safe the entire way. I was up on the board in the water in 3-4 lessons and having fun!!!!!

Till now the best kitesurf lessons for me. The instructor was very patient, cares about safety, explains very well. He was always smiling and giving good feedback. Also so nice that everyone is so friendly and helpful. Really good experience. Thank you so much!!

I did a beginner wing foil course here in February. Yohan the founder and owner is an experienced water sports instructor with a calm and humorous way of teaching. The material used was well adapted to my body weight and skill level. A radio was also used, which gives you security if you are alone on the water. The focus of the training is on learning the use of the material safely and becoming independent. After about 6 hours on the water, I'm now ready to continue practicing on my own, which I'm sure I will do. I can recommend Progress Kitesurf and would come here again (or hopefully will in the future!). Thank you again!

I cannot recommend Damien and his team enough, they are fantastic - very professional, attentive and patient.

I had a several beginner wing sessions with Roger who is an amazing teacher. He made me feel save even during more challenging weather conditions and adapted each session to my level of fitness and skill, so that we saw good progress over the days.

I hope to be back soon!

J'ai récemment suivi un cours de kitesurf dans cette école et je ne peux que la recommander chaudement. Le cours était incroyablement pédagogique, avec une attention particulière portée à chaque étape de l'apprentissage. Le matériel fourni était en excellent état, ce qui a grandement facilité l'expérience. De plus, l'équipe était exceptionnellement sympathique et accueillante, en particulier avec Théo et Jérémy, qui ont été d'une grande aide tout au long de la session. Enfin, je tiens à souligner le professionnalisme du moniteur Yohan, dont l'expertise et la passion pour le kitesurf ont été contagieuses. Une expérience inoubliable grâce à une école de qualité !

I’m a climber from the nighties that has been missing the vibe and energy from my local gym and patrons. I still love climbing but todays vibe doesn’t feel right….
I had been meaning to try kiteboarding with a friend for a couple years, however our schedules seemed to line up…..When my wife asked me what I wanted to do for the big 50; To Cabarete to learn kiteboarding with Clint. A quick Google search lead me to multiple kiteboarding possibilities. After reading Cabarete Kite Point’s web site I had made my decision. I was drawn by Tracey’s story and social responsibility. After a quick connect with Tracey, she took care of everything! All I had to do was get tickets and get on a plane.
I did not expect to find the vibe and energy that I had been missing for decades. Chill vibe, friendly locals as well as friendly kiting tourists; a community. Kite points staff are friendly, professional and accommodating. El Coco Tazo food is tasty, consistent and affordable. I found the breakfast burrito was a good start to the day. Also, get the tacos (fish and chicken), plus best Mojitos on the beach.
The only down side to starting my kiteboarding journey in the Mecca of kiting is now I have to keep coming back! Thank you Tracey and Jose Luis, I’ve drank the Kool aide and will be back.

I took 2 lessons with Pro Kite Cabarete and I wish I could have taken so many more! Damian, the owner, was very responsive and attentive. Kuba (Jacob) was an incredible instructor! He was patient and respectful of my comfort while also helping me gain noticeable progress within a few hours.

Within two days I became comfortable maneuvering and controlling the kite with one hand and we took a shot at upwind body dragging.

If you’re in Cabarete you should definitely take a lesson here!

Ich habe spontan 6 Stunden Kite-Privatunterricht gebucht. Die Organisation hat super geklappt. Mein Kitelehrer war sehr geduldig, motivierend und hat gute Tipps gegeben. Ich habe mich die ganze Zeit sicher gefühlt.
