This is a beautiful building housing a magnificent collection. I’m really glad i visited, it was a really profound experience.

Amazingly beautiful place. The building is incredible. The views are breathtaking. The permanent collection is beautiful. It's a must, if you come to Doha.
It was an incredible experience. The museum's architecture is stunning, with its clean lines and geometric patterns that set the tone for what’s inside. The collection is vast, featuring exquisite artifacts from across the Islamic world – from intricate ceramics and textiles to stunning jewelry and manuscripts.
Each exhibit tells a story, and it's easy to lose track of time as you wander through the beautifully curated spaces. The museum also offers breathtaking views of the Doha skyline, making it a perfect spot to gather knowledge and create lasting memories.

If you are in Doha, this is a must place to visit. Whether you want to appreciate the beautiful architecture of the building or to learn about the history and appreciate it, this place will not disappoint you. When you are done do not forget to go the water fountains to take some clicks of the Doha skyline too.
It's handsdown the best museum in the Middle-East. The display was amazing. The descriptions were well explained. The artifacts were gorgeous. A must visit place
Nice place to visit if you have interest in history in general, if you have no interest in history especially in Islamic one you’ll be bored. Design is great and place is well organized and clean, it takes around 3-4 hours to finish if you want to read all depictions, otherwise can be finished in 1-1.5 hr. Tickets are reasonably cheap, staff are so friendly. Place is not a great place for children though. Parking is easy.
I have to admit, architecture in Doha was amazing. Including this museum. The interior of the lobby was almost symmetrical. And from the outside, you can see the unique building. Make sure to visit the wings terrace because it offers magnificent view towards the city’s skyline. The collections are very interesting. It shows Islamic’s art from different era and different location around the world. It is quite impressive actually.

This was on my list for two years and finally we went to see it.
And it was even better than I imagined.
The architecture is state of the art, simply outstanding.
Different exhibitions on every floor probably change at times. The Iran themed displays were beautiful and presented in the best way possible.
Lighting, presentation...five stars.
You really need to have time to enjoy everything.
There is a snack shop and comfortable seating on the main floor. We had the best chocolate concoction and were seated with a view of the skyline of Doha.
There is also an outside area with beautiful views of the city and harbor.
Everything is handicap access ♿️ without steps.

Schönes Gebäude an der Bay mit tollem Ausblick auf die Skyline von Doha. Entspannte Atmosphäre auf 4 Stockwerken zur Entwicklung der islamischen Kultur. Ich schaue mir solche Museen vor allem gerne wegen der Architektur an. Ein nettes Café mit Kleinigkeiten zum Essen und gutem Service im Erdgeschoss runden diesen Besuch ab. Von dort ist es ein kurzer Fussweg zur Altstadt. Vom Parkplatz fahren Elektrocars zu Ufer, wo man einfach entspannen kann und auch Essen & Getränke kaufen kann - wieder mit tollem Blick auf die Skyline.
Bin nicht so der Museums Besucher, aber das Gebäude, die Präsentation und die ausgestellten Werke sind echt beeindruckend.

Eintritt kostet pP 50 QR. Das Gebäude weist eine schöne Architektur auf und ist sensationell gelegen. Direkter Blick auf die Skyline von Doha. Auch die ausgestellten Exponate sind interessant anzusehen. Ein Besuch nebst dem daneben gelegenen MIA Park kann ich empfehlen.
Beeindruckendes Gebäude in sehr geschickter Lage in der Bucht mit der Skyline der Westbay und der Altstadt mit dem Souks und der Moschee auf der anderen. Unbedingt den "Garten" anschauen, ein Innenhof mit Wasserbecken und märchenhaften Aussichten in beide Richtungen.
Die Ausstellung ist interessant gemacht und fördert das Verständnis islamischer Kultur und -geschichte. Ach ja: Eintritt ist frei.

Imposantes Gebäude mit interessanten Exponaten und einem kleinen Café mit schönem Meerblick. Im Museums Shop gibt es originelle Souvenirs. Empfehlenswert!
Sehr schönes und anspruchsvolles Museum. Das Gebäude ist sowohl von Außen als auch von Innen ein architektonisches Meisterwerk. Die Ausstellungen sind interessant. Leider gab es nur auf der 2 und 3 Etage was zu sehen. Das EG war gesperrt und weiter nach oben dufte man auch nicht. Nicht vergessen auch nach draußen zu gehen.
