The bridge can be walked on. Trains passing the bridge run around 10 kmh. Take this into consideration while heading for a "safe area".
It is worth knowing what happend there and a trip while being around should be a must but... Now around it there is this area that reminded me of a circus/market... You can buy a beer, smoothie or a sausage on a stick next to a place where people lost their lives...

If you want to see the bridge, go and do so. We crossed the whole way and there where almost no more tourists. We could visit the tempel on the other side by ourselves.
Found a cheap taxi service that we used de day after, lovely lady gave the number and we went for it.
Had something to drink and eat and went back. Nothing special, sensational just a little trip, the hotel was near by.

The bridge itself feels like boring for me. But if you dig deeper of its history, you will appreciate its existence. While on the bridge, you'll witness a good view on both sides of the river and a better look with the temple and restaurants nearby.

Ponte storico, sicuramente vale una tappa. Vicino ci sono alcuni parcheggi a pagamento e molte bancarelle di cibo è souvenir. Ingresso gratuito. Si può camminate sulla vecchia ferrovia costruita durante la seconda guerra mondiale. Attenzione che però il treno passa ancora!!!
Nice place, should go when u still alive. Much appreciated for the effort previously. The train was pass thru the wooden bridge. Not sure it was safe or not. But I have been return to my hometown anyhow. So I think is safe. Inside the train station was having food court, some shop is selling the sourvenir too. The area have mosquito, so better bring some medicine or spray. You should stop at thamsakae station, and the train I took from Thonburi station, please do take note the thonburi is not latest train station, it was quite far from the sky train, u better search properly. The train depart on time and fast and safe. View on the way worth it although is Abit hot (only fan) and face dirty. Worth it to take it once in your life. We go from Bangkok to thamkasae and then back to kanchanaburi ( one way 100bath), don't care distance.
Walk around! Really interesting area, a beautiful market and some lovely temples. Go stand up paddle boarding if you can. It’s a really nice way to appreciate the river
The bridge is pretty awesome. We enjoyed walking on the tracks during the night time. The bridge has 2 locations that bridge you out over the water boasting amazing views. Cool place ! I recommend a visit here
Come early morning, just after sunrise! Far less people around which really makes the experience a lot more enjoyable. There’s a few food stalls at the entrance of the bridge to check out. We took Mojo out dog which was no problems at all, be aware that there is a few strays around though.
Schön diesen geschichtsträchtigen Ort mal gesehen zu haben. Wir sind einmal komplett rüberspaziert und dann noch mit der Bahn darüber gefahren. Tolles Erlebnis 👍🏻

เดินเล่นกลางสะพานได้แต่ต้องใช้ความระมัดระวังมาก ๆ เหม็นกลิ่นปัสสาวะที่น่าจะมาจากรถไฟ

ติดสกายวอร์ค กาญจนบุรี จุดไม่เด่นมาก ส่วนใหญ่คนจะให้ความสนใจสะพานกระจกมากกว่า
จุดพักถ่ายรูป ไปเช้ารถน้อยพอถ่ายได้
ตอนเช้าวิวดีมากๆ ได้ชมพระอาทิตย์ขึ้น บนสะพานได้ชมวิวกว้างๆสวยๆ
โดยรวมตอนเย็นอากาศดี สะพานยังสร้างไม่เสร็จเต็มร้อย
ปรับปรุงใหม่สวยขึ้นมาก ดูเป็นระเบียบน่ามาเยือนเที่ยวชม เยี่ยมมากครับอยู่ใกล้ๆกับสกายวอล์ค และมีทางสำหรับขี่ปั่นรถจักรยานด้วย ทาสีสวยชัดเจน
สะพานหรือทางข้ามท่อระบายน้ำคะ🤣
รถเยอะมาก ต้องขับรถข้ามสะพานมาเพื่อมาลอยกระทงใต้สะพาน (พาเหลนมาลอยกระทง)
“สะพานสองแคว” เป็นสะพานที่ได้ชื่อว่าเป็นสะพานที่รถยนต์ขับข้ามได้สั้นที่สุดในประเทศไทยครับ อย่างไรก็ลองไปถ่ายรูปเช็คอินได้ครับ ช่วงที่รีวิวนี้จะมีร้านค้าของเด็ดชาวกาญจนบุรีมาขายในวันเสาร์ตอนเย็นนะครับแวะหาของอร่อยทานได้ด้วยนะครับ ต้องบอกว่าร้านค้าเยอะมากๆ ชาวกาญจนบุรียินดีต้อนรับครับ
