Omg, these actors were so selfless and generous toward each other, no grandstanding at all. They were so on sync, it felt like i was watching just one person perform.
These are loving performers to their audience. If I could call it anything, I'd call it theater therapy. They would listen to our stories, happy or sad, and right then and there, would act them out. They were marvelous, very sensitive to us and our stories. Their performances of our life experiences were so moving yet yet light enough for us to feel that
though sometimes frustrating, can be laughed at. I have never seen an improv group so respectful of their audience. And the most touching part is they'd ask us how we see how our stories would end in our dreams. I left feeling so excited about the future.
Definitely as good as seeing a therapist, only more creative. When we watched last Saturday, there were only a few of us but I think this group deserves more audience, not just because they're very good, but because they are "healers." People need healing and this troupe believes in the same thing I do: Actors are public servants who make lives better, matter.
Thank you, guys, for your heartful and loving performance. You do so much more than entertain.
