this our second time here best campsite to go to, for alton towers or for get away lovely owners, lovely area. toilets/shower room nice and clean and vary warm. 👌

Once again farm on the hill did not disappoint. Clean eco friendly facilities, compost toilets and showers with a woodland view, brilliant safe space for kids and family’s as well as a brilliant camp site for lone campers. Lots of choice from pitches with a view to pitches in the woods. Fire wood is available 24 hours and if you did want to leave the campsite there’s plenty of places to go near by. While staying here we visited thors cave, about half an hours drive which had spectacular views at the top of a short steep walk. This camp site would also be ideal for cycling / bikepackers as the scenery is insane. The hosts are very helpful and friendly 10/10 would recommend. This is our second time at this campsite and we will definitely be back.

Beautiful campsite, very friendly owners.
There's compost toilets and solar powered showers, Farm on the Hill is my favourite campsite as it's so environmental friendly, it's peaceful, and the views are is just amazing!

We usually camp here if we are visiting the Peak District or if we are going to Alton Towers!

Great place to stay. Clean facilities warm and friendly welcome. Convient walk to the lovely Market Town of Uttoxeter about 15 mins away. Where you will find all the shops including lidl tesco waitrose argos etc. Lots of places to eat. Also there is a dog walk on site around the race track so long as kept on a lead. Why not plan you trip around a race meeting although this will mean more noise on the day but would be entertaining.
