We had heard good things but Mitani is decidedly mediocre. When we arrived (with a reservation) the man behind the sushi bar--presumably the namesake owner--grunted at us wordlessly, gestured vaguely towards a table, and went back to what he was doing. Service was extremely slow: 20 minutes just to get a drink, then another 20 to order food. We would have ordered another round or two of drinks, but the waitress never bothered to come by again. Food was fine, but nothing at all special, especially for the price. We had to ask for the check three times over the course of half an hour. There are plenty of great Japanese restaurants in Munich--skip this one.

It was a nice experience. We went with some colleagues and had the back room for ourselves. The food was very nice and the portions were huge, I ordered a menu 1 and I wasn't able to finish it all. The service was somewhat slow but the restaurant was quite packed so, is understandable.

A great spot to enjoy drinks and share plates. Staff is super friendly, the place is cozy and trendy and food is delicious (a lot of veggie and vegan options) ! Thanks again!!

Not so big venue, but, oh my gosh, the quality of the food is amazing! It's what you would expect from japanese tradition, here it comes with unique twists. You can be fulfilled with a selection of the excellent starter courses, or you can dive into heavenly smooth, silky, tasty Sushi, which melt on your tongue. Service is also very nice, friendly and looking after you as a valued guest. Reservations heavily recommended, it can get quite busy in the evening. Get your loved ones and enjoy the treat! 🫶

Ich hatte kürzlich das Vergnügen, das Restaurant "Usagi" zu besuchen, und ich kann mit Begeisterung sagen, dass es ein wahres Juwel für Liebhaber japanischer Küche ist. Das Restaurant befindet sich in einer sehr zentralen Lage, was es zu einer bequemen Option für Einheimische und Touristen gleichermaßen macht.

Das Essen im Usagi ist schlichtweg fantastisch. Ich habe noch nie etwas von der Karte bestellt, das nicht köstlich war. Die Aromen und die Präsentation der Gerichte sind hervorragend. Von frischem Sushi bis hin zu herzhaften Ramen und zarten Tempura-Gerichten - jede Auswahl auf der Speisekarte ist ein kulinarisches Erlebnis.

Der Service verdient besondere Anerkennung. Das Personal im Usagi ist äußerst aufmerksam und freundlich. Sie sind stets bereit, Empfehlungen auszusprechen und auf individuelle Wünsche einzugehen. Diese herzliche Gastfreundschaft trägt definitiv dazu bei, dass man sich im Usagi willkommen fühlt.

Alles in allem ist das Usagi ein Restaurant, das ich uneingeschränkt empfehlen kann. Es vereint großartige Lage, exzellentes Essen und erstklassigen Service. Egal, ob Sie ein Liebhaber der japanischen Küche sind oder einfach nur auf der Suche nach einem besonderen kulinarischen Erlebnis sind, das Usagi wird Sie mit Sicherheit nicht enttäuschen.

Sehr lecker mal was anderes damit habe ich nicht gerechnet wenn ich zu einem Japaner geh. Der karamelisierte Schweinebauch ist der Hammer genau so das Eis mit Sesam !! Unfassbar gut
Leider mussten wir nach 1,5 Stunden wieder gehen, uns wurde einfach die Rechnung auf dem Tisch gelegt ... Schade wären gern lange geblieben aber auf jedenfall vorbei schauen es lohnt sich! Wir sehen uns wieder 🤙

japanische Speisen mit leichten Fusion touch. Das crispy Schwarzbrot mit Miso Butter ist unfassbar gut. Flambierter Schweinebauch, Gyosa und Takoyaki Bällchen - absolut zu empfehlen. Sehr netter und schneller Service. Reservieren ist zu empfehlen.
