We recently attended our first Open Day at Reptile Encounters HQ and had a blast! After a fun & informative group presentation delivered by Scout, my (teenage) kids & I were free to roam about at own pace and explore the animals, whilst friendly staff provided opportunities to hold & interact with a wide variety of animals. The atmosphere was fun, inclusive & relaxed despite the zoo being busy and I was able to treat the kids to a drink & bbq sausage in bread before heading home (particularly handy on a warm day). Highly recommend to all families looking for a fun activity to do together.
We booked Reptile Encounters for my 30th birthday and the whole experience was absolutely fantastic! Cannot thank Albert and the team enough. Everyone who was there had such a wonderful time and Albert was so patient and knowledgeable. Thanks so much! I would recommend these guys to anyone!
We booked the reptile party for our daughters 6th birthday and it was amazing! They are so professional and informative while making it super fun and entertaining for the kids! My daughters favourite was the giant python 🐍 It’s worth every cent (even the lizard and crocodile pee on my floor lol) and I would highly recommend to anyone that loves animals.
Reptile encounters visited my son for his 6th birthday and it was amazing, the session was funny, educational and interactive all you can ask for children's party. Not only was the children informed about the animals the adults as well, all around an amazing day. Thank you reptile encounter

Nick was amazing and insightful, he engaged with guest’s and included the children as much he could.

A must-visit place if you are travelling with young kids who are interested/passionate about reptiles and animals. We signed up for the HQ Tour and it was perfect for our kid. It was private and intimate. You get to see the animals up close, and even hold some of them.
The HQ tour was an absolutely worthwhile experience, I took a client with a disability and they were completely understanding, patient and knowledgeable. Their wildlife were beautiful and well cared for, and we (both) had lots of fun holding and meeting the animals.
We had so much fun at Reptile encounters. Ben, our host, was absolutely amazing with kids and he kept everyone so engaged. The animals he showcased were so, for the lack of a better word, "cool"!!! On the day we went there was a face painting area and even after the show the staff, such as the Josh and Cat, moved around holding other creatures such as pythons or the frilled dragon for people to hold/feel and learn some more about. Don't forget to check out the small bird area and the "barking owl". Will definitely be visiting again.
