A pretty little zoo in the middle of the city. A bit worn down. But very nice for a daily stroll with kids 🥰
The zoo is a nice place to hang. Better by tickets online or wait in queue at the door. Nice ambiant, atmosphere, good food and the map is a must
It was a nice zoo! I went during winter so I didn't expect all the animals to be out, but there were definitely a lot of really good exhibits and a lot of animals that you can still see. It only costs about 12€.
Great place, perfect for kids. Very good for learning about animals and their protection.
The big ape department is amazing but it's very sad to see the apes, they're like humans in cages, their expressions are so human and their eyes, their look runs deep into your heart and soul...

A beautiful and well-kept zoo near the heart of Frankfurt. The staff was amazing and friendly, interacting in both German and English (and likely other languages). The animals are well cared for and it shows! Definitely recommended if you have a few hours in Frankfurt!
A really great place to go with the kids and spend a nice morning! The option to rent "push trolleys" for the kids was amazing, and very affordable at €5. There were a lot of different animals to explore, it's great for adults and kids. Maybe because of the time of the year, there were a few places closed for renovations. Also, too bad there's no café or restaurant, the only option for food is a fast food truck with sausages and chips. We were really surprised there were no English translations of anything, not even a map with some more information. Overall a great place to visit right in the middle of the city.
