Stopped in for lunch while waiting for our accommodation to be ready. Food and iced lattes were delicious and filling. We ordered the French toast and chicken bacon wrap. Reasonably priced, kind servers. No AC but fans throughout to keep you cool.

We’ve eaten lunch here twice, google “open hours” may be inaccurate. Definitely recommend! Cheap price but good quality.

Stunning location, looking over the rice terraces. Food wasn't typical traditional Balinese, but was beautiful with great flavours. The Mexican taco bowel was just lovely with fantastic flavours.

The experience and the food is amazing. A 10-course meal, each of which is explained by the chef and his staff. The service was phenomenal the entire time. You will need to make reservations well ahead of time as the spots at the chef's table fill up quickly. For good reason. You will not regret going to dinner and experiencing this

Restaurant has an incredible setting; however, that is where the positive experience ended. I was served raw chicken satay skewers which made me severely ill for 3 days and ruined my trip to Bali.

I sent them back immediately after realising and the restaurant tried to apologise by offering me dragon fruit ice cream instead (which I did not accept). Instead of taking my meal off the bill, which is normal practice in any restaurant, they removed 1 drink from the bill of 4 people.

Great location but awful experience and customer service.

I can’t recommend this place enough! Some of the best food I’ve had in Bali!! Worth the journey if you’re considering. Staff are very very kind people, you can feel they genuinely care about you. I recommend the satay chicken & veggie spring rolls. Check them out!

Came here with wife, randomly on a hot Sunday afternoon 4pm, to satisfy our random pistachio cravings. Had desserts only - pistachio gelato (nutty, salty, creamy, rich but not overwhelming), and banana berry cream tart (very full of berries, satisfied our berry craving). Service was fabulous, they were concerned about the sun in our face and even lowered the bamboo blinds for us. Also gifted complimentary latte, which was 10/10 quality coffee (but I’m a non-coffee drinker so take this with a pinch of caffeine). This restaurant was coincidentally also recommended by our accommodations, Bisma Cottages (also our excellent homely stay for 4 nights).

Api Jiwa delivered an outstanding, unique Bali dinner at the exceptional Capella Hotel! The food was carefully and artistically crafted by the chef standing before our community bar /table - such an intimate dinner beyond any restaurant we've enjoyed in Bali! We received a beautiful education about the food for each of the ten courses, and why the chef chose the ingredients. I will post some pictures that capture the artistry! I highly recommend this experience.
In addition, I brought several allergies to the dinner, and the chef was notified 24 hours in advance and carefully prepared my meal thoughtfully, and it did not suffer in taste or presentation.

Tiny little were wrong in the backstreets of Woodward. Food was very homely and authentic. Exactly what I needed! Chicken sauté with delicious. Spring rolls extremely crispy but be careful they’re very hot! MeGoreng was lovely.

Great lunch here - we tried the pancakes, the croissant, the avo toast and the sweet potato plus various juices. All were delicious- highly recommend paying this great Warung a visit.

As expected from a Ritz Carlton establishment, Kubu at Mandapa has the highest quality service from start to finish. The buggy taking you down to Kubu is a picturesque ride with jungle views, and once there, the ever-attentive staff make sure you have a memorable meal. Every dish was made thoughtfully and with fresh ingredients. If it's your first time, book a cocoon and be immersed in nature as you overlook the river. Highly recommended if you want a fine dining experience that is worth every rupiah. Will definitely return!

Food portions are a bit small but views are spectacular , could easily have spent half a day here as there’s a pool (resort style), that was unexpected , food was good also.

We had a wonderful wedding anniversary lunch here with cocktails and the food was great (duck) as was the service. Our waitress asked if we were celebrating a special occassion and was kind enough to bring out a small dessert acknowleging our anniversary. The views are amazing! We didn't use the pool but some guests did take advantage of that perk.

The food was delicious and the place was beautiful. It overlooks the valley above the rice terraces and has a delightful ambience. They also have swings and although we had already done the swing, I thought this place was nicer. It was less crowded and offered similarly beautiful views. They also have a swimming pool for those interested in taking a dip.

Dined at Kubu at Mandapa, and it was mostly enchanting. The bamboo cocoons by the Ayung River create a magical setting for exquisite Mediterranean-European cuisine. While the service and culinary creativity impressed, the evening was slightly marred by mosquitoes, with a few bites to remember the visit by. Still, a gem in Ubud.

We stopped here for lunch cause it looked cute shaded and chill.
Service was nice and the food was ok.
It was nice but nothing special I would go back just find it slightly overpriced compare to other places near by

A great place to have breakfast or lunch!!! Amazing view of rice fields and jungle!!! It’s difficult to get there, at least from the side we chose because there isn’t a road just a narrow path between the rice fields!! However the route is so beautiful that I strongly recommend to visit it!!

We ate here every day while staying at the hotel and enjoyed every meal which was different every time. The staff are so attentive and for me were very considerate with my allergies. The service was quick and efficient yet provided a relaxing and chilled environment.

We stayed at this resort for 5 days so we had breakfast each day, and several of our dinners here. We had something different almost each day and it was all delicious, beautifully presented, and service was very nice. On an early morning tour day we had breakfast in the room, delicious and came right when we had pre-scheduled. Nice quiet atmosphere overlooking the rice field, quiet live music on a couple of the nights, very lovely and friendly staff!

Spectacular views. Amazing location. Classic place. Sadly the food quolity went way down. I think a revamp of the menue and kitchen staff is in order.
I was sad of this decline. Was one of the best places in Ubud in the past.

We had such an enjoyable lunch here. The staff is phenomenal. Made everyone in our large tour feel like family. We enjoyed all of the food. The duck was amazing. They have a variety of local food options along with other options suitable for vegan guests. The drinks are also very good. It is an amazing location with great views and even swings and a pool on the same property!

Food was okay. I find it really bland for my taste. I didn't taste the hollandaise sauce im not sure if it was because it had very small portion of it or just coz hollandaise didnt have any flavor at all. It was very plain, i can only taste flavor from the arugula which i think had a bit of dressing, and the beetroot as well. The avocado was fresh tho. A little salt wouldn't hurt. 😊

I like the vibe, good place to chill and work and good wifi too. I'd still go back. I'd definitely give other dishes the chance. Can never go wrong with avocados!

Food is AMAZING, even for delivery. The Croissant so flavourful yet light, the avocado fresh and creamy. We ordered via Grab Food delivery and the driver told us the kitchen was busy and need to wait for 30mins. We appreciate the driver time by adding a good tip for his time.

Had the butter chicken with a couple of lime & mint granitas with a vodka shot for dinner. Both food and drinks were delicious. As it was close to where I was staying I went there for breakfast also. It too was great & I recommend it, is in that part of town.

Not the best high-end food in bali I must say, but each dish has exquisite ingredients and cooking method. The view inside the cocoon that look towards that steam is one of the highlights of this meal. It was our first day in Bali so it gives us a very strong start on the calming vibe you could get in ubud.

Personally love the starters and the dessert more than the main. Highly recommend the Mangrove Crab & Yellow Tail with sea grapes and vingar cucumber.

Overall, the experiences were great, staff are friendly and detail-caring. We were the very last reservation of the day, we finished our meal at 11pm (very late), but they are still showing their utmost professionalism. It would even greater if they could further explain the recommended way to taste the dishes.

Honestly, we were blown away! Even though the reviews said it was amazing, when we arrived we were a bit skeptical on how small the cafe looked but we are SO happy we decided to eat here! Best food we’ve had in so long! So much flavour, big portions, so beautifully presented and great staff!

Called in for breakfast and had the large breakfast and my wife had the smashed avocado on toast.
Big breakfast was cooked fresh with eggs , bacon , sausage , mushrooms and toast...it was ok and came on a huge board
Smashed avocado was good too , plenty on the plate .
Washed down with a delicious vanilla milkshake and lemon squash it was a good start to the day .

Came here many days in a row for breakfast and once for dinner while staying at the resort. It is a great spot! They had live music once or twice while we were eating, and it is a very calm atmosphere - open air overlooking some rice paddies. The people are incredibly kind. Juli was especially attentive and friendly. The food is very good, and they are able to accommodate various allergies, including gluten free/ vegan/ shellfish. We loved the chia seed pudding and BLATS sandwich for breakfast and the fish for dinner. The cocktails are also delicious! 11/10 all around!

Lovely place, lovely staff and the food is really fresh and simply tasty! Try the croissant breakfast, it hits all the right buttons!

Stayed at the hotel Adiwana Bisma and it came with all day breakfast - a full menu full of delectable selections! The staff were very personable and welcoming, food was good, coffee not bad, comes with fresh juices too! The eggs Benedict I had - egg was done perfect :)

Super chill place for a reasonably priced bite and a drink. When we there, there was a beautiful cross breeze and the music was very relaxing.

We went here for Chinese New Year. They have a festive menu at that time. The food is good, and the portion size is just right. However, we found the price to be expensive for the quality of the food, especially when compared to similar restaurants in the area that are quite famous for offering many good dining options. We also tried the cocktails, which were good and tasty.
The service is top-notch. They checked on our table with every menu item served, ensuring that the dining experience ran smoothly and nothing was overlooked. The ambiance is wonderful, with views of the rice paddy. Recommend to try.

We had an amazing experience at this restaurant with our whole family. The food was excellent, and the service was exceptionally attentive. Enjoyed the food and was happy to go there. Wasn’t mind blowing and they didn’t have plant milk for coffee. I got the Avo garden and would suggest it! To make it perfect I would add a second slice of bread, one is a bit little. Overall solid food.

Nice open, airy place with a good feel. They have an extensive menu for both food and drinks, The food is good, the staff are very pleasant and overall it’s a really nice spot to pop into for a relaxing bite or drink.

The food was pretty good, nothing special.
The views are phenomenal 😍. English is jot very well spoken by the staff, so it is preferable to use a translation app. Other than that, everything was super ! Definitely would give them a second visit in the future.

Seating at the chef counter, testing ten courses degustation menu with a fantastic cocktail pairing. Highly recommend for a special occasion, but not cheap.

The staff is nice, prices low and taxes are included, but that doesn’t make up for the fact that the food is just bad.
‘Pad thai’ had nothing in common with the real one, the egg was done in Indonesian way, there was no taste in the noodles as if there was no sauce or anything for that matter, and tofu was on a skewer served with Indonesian sauce as well, to sum up: awful, because if it’s called pad thai I would like it to be a thai dish:(
Tofu curry: we tried maaaany of them around the country and this one was truly disappointing. The consistency was off, the taste as well, it was closer to a standard vegetable soup than curry:(
Lastly, strawberry+watermelon+mint juice: had no taste whatsoever, 30k is way too much for that drink. I try it almost all the time in different places and I can easily say this was the worst one I ever had. Definitely no strawberries inside, tasted like water with a splash of watermelon.
I wouldn’t reccomend this place, unless the cook changes

Amazing views from the patio seating area with some tasty food ..!! And their dragon fruit shake was super tasty ..!! Service was little slow .. !! We did Bali swing at a diff place but looked fun here as well .. !!

A Disappointing Encounter at d’Alas Warung Amidst Beautiful Surroundings

Our excursion around the island led us to d’Alas Warung, a restaurant set against a backdrop of stunning vistas and the unique allure of giant swings. Yet, the enchanting environment was sharply contrasted by the chaos that greeted us upon arrival. The restaurant was far from bustling, yet the staff seemed overwhelmed, leading to a series of service missteps that began with being directed to a dirty table and continued with a lack of attention from the staff, reminiscent of absent-minded NPCs in a game.

After repeated efforts to gain service, we opted for simplicity in our order, hoping to avoid further complications. We chose the pizza Margherita and French fries for the children, Karins Style Chicken, and I selected the Lumpia. The pizzas were merely passable, not warranting a recommendation. The Lumpia, however, provided a solitary high point with its satisfying crispness and flavor. Regrettably, the Karins Style Chicken was a letdown; even the children rejected it, suggesting it was an overcooked relic rather than a meal.

Our drinks were a mixed bag; the margaritas, although visually appealing, failed to deliver on taste. In contrast, the orange juice and young coconut were fresh and enjoyable.

While the prices did not break the bank, the overall culinary experience left much to be desired. More than the food, it was the apparent disarray among the staff that marred our experience the most. The beautiful location of d’Alas Warung deserves a service level to match, and hopefully, this was just an off day that is not indicative of the usual standard.

This is a tiny place with just a handful of tables but the food is very good and well worth checking out. Fresh juices are excellent and if you order the chicken satay pay the extra 5k for another pot of sauce….you won’t regret it! Great food and very good value.

Gorgeous small family restaurant with some of the best food I've ever had - do not miss the gado gado or spring rolls.

If only I could rate 10 stars !! As an avocado lover this is the most tasteful yet healthy meal I’ve ever enjoy of my life !!! I ordered the avocado burger with salad instead of fries and a detox juice absolutely amazing 🥰😍 I also tried their smoothie bowl for breakfast, the best one so far in Bali !!!

Perfect local food on peaceful local street …you truly forget the traffic noise just ten minutes walk away. Everything was prepared with care and there are also well-priced juices.

Absolutely delicious! One of the reasons I chose to stay in this area was because I saw the reviews for this place and wanted to try it out (I'm a sucker for avocado everything) and it did not disappoint. I had the avocado toast and loaded sweet potato, both just fantastic and so tasty. And the espresso (a must to start my day off) was excellent. The staff was lovely and welcoming, I cannot wait to return. Thanks so much. :)

It would be 5 stars if not the fact our order, twice, came in an hour delay. The owner was really sorry and blamed new staff who forgot our order but it actually happened twice ... in both cases it was pizza so maybe it’s something that here takes more time, other times goreng came timely.
Otherwise really nice place, friendly staff. Great fresh juices. Open plan makes the place very nice, you can breathe fresh air while tasting very good food in cheap prices. Definitely recommend
