This is one of the toddy shops u c in Kottayam kumarakom road. I ordered grape toddy, fish items, duck, beef fry, kallappam, kappa and meals. Apart from the duck everything else we tried were tasting good. Their mussels fry and karimeen pollichatu was outstanding and was exploding with flavours. King fish tala curry was tasting average and the flesh felt stale. Beef fry tasted really good but most of the pieces were liver and fat. It really felt like a rip off. Then the duck was so bland that none of us liked it. Even the meals were wort the price. They have toomany places to improve. Lastly the toddy that was superb tasty and fresh. Thats is the only best thing i had from here. Located near kumarakom ppl will expect better quality food from a toddy shop. Then about the ambiance this place is sometimes stinky due to the nearby contaminated water. And the huts are just ok ok. Ample parking space is available and is family friendly.

Ambience is nice if you are ok with the occasional mosquitos.
Service is good, but understaffed, hence not so fast.
Coming to the main thing, the food. It is bland and not authentic spicy Kerala cuisine. The portion sizes are small too as you can see from the images. Whatever the menu items are priced, but for such small portion sizes, it is not worth it.

Exceptional food! The store has gotten a new owner and it’s definitely seen in the food quality! Very polite and friendly staff aswell, providing a welcoming environment. The prices seem very reasonable and the food was cooked fresh! It was hot and tasty. We ordered fried rice, a very simple item with some chicken and veggies mixed in. The curries we got were also really good. 100% would come again as it’s one of the very few restaurants that served good and authentic food during our visit this time!

Worst biriyani which I have ever ate in my whole life.
Plain rice mixed in chicken fry oil thats there biriyani.
I dont know about other food,but biriyani is worst.

Very good restaurant that serves both veg & non veg items. Very reasonably priced. Limited seating. Owner has returned from Dammam and hence the name.

Tried thier chicken biriyani and meals with the family today .The food quality was very poor.Had such a disastorous experience.Wouldnt recommend to anyone.The price was very high as well.

We had ordered an egg briyani with Chicken Roast. Briyani tasted good. Chicken roast was really yummy and the chicken was well cooked.

Un endroit très sympathique 😍 On peut manger du poisson cuit dans des feuilles de bananier et boire du toddy, du vin de palme. Et l'accueil est très chaleureux et convivial 😃👍.

Tasty Food ..
We had visited this spot last night. By the time we reached almost all the special items were over. We ordered Chappathi,Kappa, Garlic Chicken and Duck Roast.
Duck Roast with Tapioca was superb..
Other 2 dishes was also pretty good.
Overall tasty food, good service.. 👍
