Delicious food. Monica the server and daughter of the chef was an absolute treat as a server. Made great recommendations. All the food was wonderful and the view was great. The garlic bread was pretty well near the highlight of our trip.
They served us a delicious veganized truffle pasta with several lovely side dishes
Had lunch here. Staff were friendly on arrival but then were more interested chatting and smoking than looking after diner's. Ordered the fish fillets which was under cooked. Disappointed at this restaurant as the reviews said it was a good place to eat.
One of the best lunch which i had in my life! The fish was super fresh, the side dish amazingly seasoned. The taste took me back in time in my childhood. You could taste the passion and soul with which the Chef cooked the dishes. Also best service and fast! Thank you

A place worth visiting for a quick meal during sightseeing in Pula.

Very delicious food! The woman, Monica, served us with a smile and even offered us complimentary food to pair with our wine while waiting for our food. Amazing family restaurant with an amazing atmosphere and the most friendly people. We sat down and they were really chatty and friendly. They stayed outside to talk to us all the time and gave us some extra bread etc. We had dietary restrictions and they also changed several items to accommodate for this. I see that there are a lot of negative comments, and I'm not really sure why, for us it was honestly really lovely!
This restaurant is superb. You cannot fault it. Service and food were all so good. Our dishes were excellent and the food that was brought to the tables around us looked amazing too. We had traditional Istrian cuisine. I could’ve stayed there all day. This place is a must visit if you’re visiting Pula. Thanks again.

Super lovely experience!! The owner was so nice and the service was great! We couldn't read the menu but he explain and translated for us and was very patient and nice :) He even gave us a free shot when we told him its our first time in croatia and the food was reallyy tasty for a very good price! Its also in a really nice location with a view of the Temple of Agusts!Would definitely recommend
Tatsächlich war die Kalbshaxe und der Tintenfisch BUTTERWEICH, wie in den Rezessionen davor bereits beschrieben. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und spricht Deutsch. Das Essen war nicht nur geschmacklich ausgezeichnet, sondern auch die Portionsgröße war mehr als reichlich. Die Parkplätze daneben sind teilweise im Schatten, daher konnte unsere alte Hundedame in Ruhe und bei offenem Autofenster im Auto rasten, sie wäre aber auch im Lokal willkommen gewesen. Alles zusammengefasst: gerne jederzeit wieder!

Absolutely brilliant, all the food was non stop amazing. Thanks for that experience, will definitely try to come again. I had such a hard time choosing because it all looked so good.
Not even if it occurs to you to eat here. It's a scam. The prices are not clear in the menu list and then they charge a disproportionate amount, they charge cuttlery, service, bread, ... and it is not previously notified. To top it off, they accept just cash and they don't let you take the ticket so that there is no trace of the high amount, and you have to go to the ATM for money, which is an additional commission. As for the food, very very scarce for the amount paid and the very expensive drink. They take advantage of the tired tourist who is not there to go around a lot looking for something better or reading reviews
Great experience!!! I went there with my husband and I can tell you we loved their food. I don't understand all the one-star comments, but our experience is different. Our meal was very tasteful, and I think their chef deserves a Michelin Star. Their employees are very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Their menu is based on local ingredients from Istria with a modern presentation and service.
Amazing experience, this was so far the best restoran we've been. Everybody was so pleasant, our food was sooo tasty, their chif is doing an excellent job. They also have good prices. We will definitely be back. Thanks again!
Amazing food at a good price! We got the calamari risotto, fried calamari, meat platter to share, baked beans and the chocolate souffle for dessert and it was all super delicious! Definitely recommend when visiting Pula! We would come again🤩
Very nice experience. Sat outside but with warmers it was comfortable. Service was very good and food was delicious. I had rum steak with mushrooms and I loved it. Waiter spoke English very well. Highly recommended!!!

Food is really bad and overpriced, if something goes wrong it is not their fault and to make it up to you you get an old pancake that is stacked a meter high on other pancakes...
You "need" to pay for unnecessary stuff that should be included in the price.
They even followed us to make us pay even more then we had to pay, that was a scary situation to be in.

A bit difficult to find as Google doesn't mention it is on the second floor. However the staff were fantastic, able to speak multiple languages including English, and incredibly attentive.
My partner and I ordered pasta dishes and cocktails and we were pleased by both. Deep flavours and no premixes are used, a rarity! I definitely recommend stopping here for a meal.

Super leckeres Essen! sehr schönes Ambiente und Freundliches Personal! Ich kann dieses Restaurant nur jedem Empfehlen der hier vor Ort ist! Wichtig auf jeden Fall vorab Reservieren 👍 Ach und als Nachspeise auf jeden Fall den Käsekuchen nicht vergessen ❤️ ein Traum
Nous sommes par hasard par ce restaurant et nous n’avons pas été déçus : les produits de la mer étaient très bien présentés et le poisson très bien cuit.

Weltklasse. Richtige traditionelle Küche. Herausragend gekocht. Tolle Bedienung mit guten Empfehlungen. Kein klassischer Touristenschuppen und das ist auch gut so.

Das Essen war richtig gut, das Rinderfilet zart, das Rumpsteak perfekt, Kalimari butterweich und das Lamm ist so zart gewesen das es zerfallen ist. Der Chef total sympathisch, Service schnell und freundlich. Wir kommen wieder
Das war eine Empfehlung unseres Airbnb Hosts und wir wollten unbedingt traditionelles PEKA essen. Man muss unbedingt in der Hauptsaison reservieren, sonst sieht es mit dem Platz knapp aus. Telefonisch und via FB war niemand erreichbar, wir fuhren extra vorbei.
Nach einer Stunde waren wir fertig mit dem Restaurantbesuch. Die Fischplatte war ganz gut als Appetizer. Die Kalbshaxe für zwei Personen war leider nur in Ordnung. Ich hatte mir ein saftiges Fleisch mit würziger Sauce, Karotten und frischen Kräutern erwartet. Das Fleisch war okay; außen aber teils so verbrannt, dass es darunter oftmals zäh war. Am meisten hat mir die Sauce gefehlt. Da hatte ich wohl falsche Erwartungen an das Gericht; da es für mich nach Schmorgericht klang. Die Polenta, die wir extra bestellt haben, war auch etwas geschmacklos.
Der Kellner war sehr nett und aufmerksam, wirkte aber auch etwas gestresst auf uns, obwohl noch nicht so viel los war. Aber man weiß ja nie, warum jemand gerade Stress hat, daher würde ich das nicht negativ sehen.
Die Lobeshymnen kann ich insgesamt nicht verstehen. Es war ganz okay, aber nichts Besonderes.

Assurément le meilleur restaurant que nous ayons fait à Pula. Situé au bout d’une belle rue piétonne et pas loin du grand marché ce restaurant dispose d’une belle terrasse bien isolée et d’une grande salle voûtée. À la carte des spécialités de poisson et de viandes très bien servies. Les plats sont très bien préparés et délicieux. Les desserts sont formidables. Le service est irréprochable et les prix sont abordables.
Great restaurant in the heatt of the beautiful Pula! Prices are cheap and food is great. We spent 7-8 euros per person. I would definitely recommend you to try their pizzas no matter which one. All of them are great! The typical Croatian Pleakavica is also not bad but not something special. Their pasta is also a bit too simple. The atmosphere is great but keep in mind that you will have to wait between 10-20 minutes to get a table because it is too busy. Overall, a great restaurant in Pula.
Un restaurant qu’on vous conseille a Pula, un peu en dehors de la foule dans un endroit très agréable en terrasse. Nos plats de pâtes étaient succulents et le vin blanc Malvazi aussi. Service à l’écoute et très professionnel. Prix dans la norme (et même très corrects) par rapport aux restaurants de la ville qui se sont mis au prix pratiqués en euros dans le reste des pays de la zone.
Super restaurant! Les plats sont bien servis, la viande est cuite parfaitement, les poissons sont accompagnés par une délicieuse petite sauce et la calamar n'est pas du tout caoutchoucteux. Tout est frais (surement dû au fait qu'il se situe près du marché). On a même le droit à une petite boule de fromage frais et truffe comme amuse-bouche, un vrai régale! Absolument à tester pendant votre voyage!
Really great food at a brilliant price. Very quaint inside, and a lovely terrace outside. The grilled calamari is the best we had so far in Pula. The staff were wonderful, but very busy.
Schon einige Male waren wir - privat wie beruflich - in diesem tollen Restaurant essen ... und wurden bisher noch nie enttäuscht. Ein toller Service, herzlicher Empfang und vor allem wurde der Fisch am Tisch präsentiert bzw. konnten wir den von uns gewünschten wählen ... so mag man das! Für Viel-Esser wie mich eine Freude ... hungrig geht man aus diesem Restaurant nicht raus!

Nous sommes tombé sur ce restaurant par hasard et avons été accueillis dans une petite cave très charmante, dans le style des caves à vins.
Le personnel, sympa et avenant, s'est rapidement occupé de nous.
Nous avons eu droit à un amuse-bouche composé de fromage de chèvre à la truffe.. tout simplement à tomber !
Nos plats, des pâtes fraîches faîtes maison, l'un aux truffes et l'autre à la dorade fumée et crevettes.
Celles aux truffes étaient parsemées de généreux copeaux tandis que celles aux poissons nous rappellent que nous sommes dans une ville portuaire de part la fraicheur de la sauce.
Si c'est de la truffe que vous cherchez, votre paradis est ici!!

Anfangs war alles sehr gut. Freundlicher Service und schnelle Bedienung. Dann wurde zuerst unser nachbestelltes Brot vergessen und irgendwie auch unser Tisch im allgemeinen. Andere Gäste die nach uns kamen, hatten den Hauptgang aufgegessen, bevor dieser bei uns auf dem Tisch stand. Außerdem wurde 1 Beilage vergessen, 1 Beilage war falsch und der Fisch war kalt. Die Kartoffelspalten waren total versalzen. Dafür war die Beilage geschmacklos. Schade, leider keine Empfehlung.
Freundlicher, herzlicher Empfang. Kompetente Beratung und Service. Der frische Fisch wurde uns am Tisch präsentiert und erklärt und auf Sonderwünsche wurde ohne wenn und aber eingegangen. Die Portionen waren üppig und sehr, sehr lecker. In so einem Restaurant ist eine Reservation von grossem Vorteil...😉 Gerne wieder!
Tolles istrisches Essen, etwas gehobener und sehr lecker. Wir sind hier sogar noch ein zweites Mal, trotz 30 Minuten Anfahrt, eingekehrt. Die Lammkeule war sehr zart und das Süßkartoffelpüree wirklich schmackhaft. Das dazu bestellte Gemüse war ebenfalls lecker. Der Nachtisch lohnt sich ebenfalls.

Very good wine, delicious desserts and very nice combination of foods, we had the fish menu, not everything was well cooked (octopus hard) and salted, service was nice except that they kind of left our table before finishing the sentence explaining what was in our dishes 😅 overpriced but with potential! It looks like all tables are reserved but we felt it was more like marketing ;)
Un très bon restaurant recommandé par le Routard. L'entrée "pâtes au poisson fumé et crevettes" un régal. Plat : pavé de bœuf de 200g minimum aux truffes excellentissime (tendreté de la viande d'Istrie et fraîcheur de la poêlée de légumes). Les assiettes étaient copieuses. Seul bémol, et c'est vraiment dommage : le service. Notre serveur semblait être revenu d'un enterrement. Sans cela j'aurai mis 5 étoiles et j'aurai donné un pourboire. Nous en avons eu pour 90€ avec 1 entrée (suffisante pour 2 personnes), 2 plats avec truffes, un plat enfant (escalope panée avec frites), un accompagnement supplémentaire (purée de courge), une bouteille d'un excellent rosé local, 2 cocas et une bouteille d'eau gazeuse. Nous n'avons pas pris de dessert car nous avions trop mangé !!!

Das Essen war großartig bis auf einen Kritikpunkt das Fiorentina Steak war gut aber ich fand es war nicht gewürzt sprich nur ein großes angebratenes Steak. Letzt endlich kann man es aber weiter empfehlen!

Der Besuch dieses Restaurants war leider total enttäuschend: die Bedienung lustlos, unflexibel (auch an den Nachbartischen) und mit 4 besetzten Tischen nahe an der Belastungsgrenze, der Koch scheinbar lustlos: die istrianischen Ravioli fade, geschmack- und lieblos zubereitet, verdienen den Namen absolut nicht; die Rippchen ohne Soße oder Dip o.ä., trocken und lauwarm, als einzige Garnitur 2 armselig dahingeworfene, bedauernswerte Tomatenachtel. Das Bier vom Fass war kaum gekühlt und schal, aber das 0,2er Bitter- Lemon aus der Flasche war echt klasse...sorry, das können viele, viele Restaurants um Welten besser.
Very nice restaurant in the middle of Pula oldtown with affordable price. We tried their grilled calamari and the taste was delicious. The size of the calamari is a bit small so, if you are very hungry you should buy other things. We ordered their french fries and it was big portion. The waitress was friendly too. So it was a good experience.

Le service était impeccable. Mais pour avoir mangé dans d'autres restaurants tout aussi bons si ce n'est meilleur, je dirai que le prix est légèrement élevé.

We ordered a cheese starter which had more lettuce than cheese. As main course we asked for a “burrito” and a salad and the burrito was brought with more lettuce than the salad itself. We returned the salad and weren’t offered for something else.
Mojitos were totally disgusting.
They don’t care at all about customers.

Schönes Restaurant in der Altstadt von Pula. Nähe Tempel des Augustus. Selbstgemachte Nudeln mit Eselfleisch oder mit frischen Trüffeln. Beides war hervorragend 👍Die Bedienung war sehr nett und immer ansprechbar. Wir waren ca. 1 Stunde da und leider muss man sich für andere Touristen fremdschämen. Was alles wie selbstverständlich gefordert wird und sich verhalten wird ist teilweise unterste Schublade. Ich könnte als Bedienung nicht so ruhig, freundlich und gelassen bleiben. Wer Pizza mag ist in einer Osteria falsch!

Das La Cuxina liegt mitten im Altstadtkern von Pula und bietet einen sehr schönen, schattigen Außenbereich unter großen Schirmen. Eine interessante Speisekarte bietet dem Gast landestypische Gerichte und Weine von hervorragender Qualität. Die äußerst freundliche Bedienung und das allgemeine Ambiente dieses Restaurants machten den Besuch zu einem besonderen Erlebnis.
