I went for a special birthday dinner. Food was outstanding, i had the seabass, which was cooked to perfection. Desert, I had my favourite soufflè. Lovely place. My friends commented the service has dropped a little, no one talking through the menu, and no complimentary bread anymore, which is a shame.

Overall, fabulous restaurant and priced reasonably. Go treat yourself 🥂
We visited Saturday lunch time, it was quite quiet and lacked an atmosphere. Sandy made the whole experience the most memorable. To recommending dishes to having a little laugh with us. Everything we asked for was there in a heart beat.

It was a perfect afternoon out on bank holiday weekend.
Came to the swan the other day and the lovely Talia served us. She was attentive and couldn’t do enough for us, the food was amazing and so were the drinks. By far the best experience yet due to the friendly service and warm atmosphere!
What a beautiful pub to have dinner at! I will definitely be coming back again with the food and drink being second to none. Service was quick and efficient, a lovely young server Talia took great care of us. Freindly servers and great atmosphere here, we highly recommend.

First time I visited The Woburn, for a evening meal, we were celebrating my wife's 50th. We had a party of 10 , it was an amazing night, the menu catered for the adults and kids.
The food was amazing , everyone enjoyed what they ordered , the service was excellent, the staff dealing with us were very very good.
The setting itself was really good , it was a really nice atmosphere, it was a really nice night to celebrate my wife's 50th, she loved it.
I would recommend The Woburn to friends and family.
always friendly and welcoming!
me and my family/friends always go in for a few games of pool, and it's back down to £1 so very happy.
Went for wing Wednesday and for a first time I was disappointing to say the least we was the first ones there when the restaurant opened when we received our food order was still wrong even though we were the only ones there there was no spice level on the menu so my partner ordered something which turned out to be very spicy and inedible for her. The chicken wings were very plain and bland if not watery and the onion rings although looks good were very oily and the batter was that thick in places it still wasn’t cooked

Classic cozy British pub. Amazing atmosphere with beams and stone floors and an extensive garden area for enjoying a pint outside. All the servers are lovely and a good selection of ales. Nice variety of food options as well. Being a Brit born in this area but now living in Canada for the last 30 years this is the sort of pub I look for when returning home for a visit. Highly Recommended!

We had such an amazing visit, can’t fault it, we did have an issue with the electric not working in our room on arrival but Benji very quickly sorted that for us. Benji was amazing the entire stay.. he went above and beyond for us and was such a lovely person! Thank you Benji and the waitress who recommended the avocado cocktail, which was very nice!

Value for money for sure, decent management and good workers especially Steph making me and my partner comfortable and making sure food comes out correctly if you don't like certain things on your plate...

Deffo see us back here 👍🏼
The service was above and beyond on our recent visit. I had requested a sign for our table welcoming our guests who were only in UK for one day. I had hoped for something small and handwritten, but when we arrived, there was this beautiful printed poster for them. We were absolutely delighted! Thank you all very much! Such lovely staff waiting at the table too. Nothing was too much trouble.

We had an evening meal in the restaurant at The Woburn. We parked at the rear of the hotel, which had ample parking spaces. Once we entered the hotel we were greeted with a friendly smile, we were shown our table and offered drinks, along with the specials menu. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, with an open kitchen with lots of space between tables, next time we would sit in the champagne area. Our food was well presented and tasted amazing, a dessert of Tiramisu which was awesome, on par with anything we had tasted in Italy. One issue, we had to leave and definitely going back.

In short: kinda minging, but dog friendly.

I came here once about 11 years ago and it was a lovely vibrant canal-side pub. It's still the latter but that's about it.

The toilets were gross, the glasses were filthy, we ordered nachos that took well over 30 mins to arrive. The bar staff were pleasant and they do have water bowls for dogs but it's really hard to say much more that's positive. The whole place just feels kinda run down these days, it was a sunny day and the garden was empty, the grass needed cutting too. So weird; it's such a great space in an excellent location, it should speak for itself but the care is just not there. It's such a shame.

Nice humble pub with a decent menu. They do a regular quiz nights and some other fun fundraiser events throughout the year, so they definitely make good contributions to the community. Service can be a bit slow but it’s a relatively small team and they’re always very polite

Our room was adequate for a one night stay, I wouldn't have been happy staying there for any longer. We were in the main building which is very old, the floor boards are very squeaky. Decor very tired, but clean. We booked a table in the restaurant for a meal with family, the Sunday dinner didn't live up to its billing. They had run out of roast beef, we opted for roast pork, that was dry and tough. The room we ate in was devoid of atmosphere, it was like dining in a library. One person ordered coffee, when it arrived, there was more spilled on the saucer than in the cup itself. We didn't book breakfast, instead choosing to eat at the Super Sausage Cafe up the road, there you will get a quality breakfast at a fraction of the price.
On the plus side there is free parking.
Would I stay there again...probably not.

Lovely little pub, emphasis on the word little, the food is very average, the service is a little slow but the atmosphere was lovely and full of locals, nice for a pint on a walk
Sells gluten-free in bottles. Good local pub in Oldbrook Milton Keynes overlooking the sports field. Nice on a summers day to sit outside.
Always have the best experience here, can never complain with the food made by the chef Steph and always a service with a smile from Luke at the bar. Absolutely love this pub.
Excellent venue for a family Sunday lunch. Our 4 grandchildren (aged 5 - 9) had plenty of choice & 2 of the adults enjoyed their vegan lunch. Our waitress was amazing. Highly recommend and we will be back!
One of my favourite pubs with a great vibe, beautiful furniture, free parking, friendly staff members, and outstanding food. I have visited the pub many times in the past and have always been satisfied with the service. I would highly recommend it.

We only ate here and, having not been for a few months, were amazed at the food quality. One of the ladies said that they have new chefs and boy did we know it! Great food, great service too actually and as always, good value. Very, very pleasantly surprised!

What a dive. Sticky tables, dirty glasses, stacks of mouldy wood and extra boxes piled around our table, completely out of condiments, meh food. Kids meals were frozem pizzas. We went for the playground as we had a group of kids but it's been taken down. At least staff was friendly.
A nice pub on the canal, with delicious food.
The Malbec and ale pie was very good. A proper pie, too. Pastry all around.
The salt and pepper squid that I had ad a starter was also very well cooked.
Disco bingo brilliant night, nice little pub served a decent pint, didn't have food but a friend did it looked decent.
My 1st time here, I did not eat, but I definitely will do soon. Very friendly staff. Everywhere spotlessly clean.

We used to go here years ago (before kids). Returned for a birthday meal and it's still as fantastic as it was all those years ago. Excellent food, great service and a lovely environment. Will definitely be returning.
Had a decent time here, few hiccups with the food but quickly rectified.
Haven't eaten here so not putting a star rating against that.
Bar tender was incredibly knowledgeable about the different beers they had on the menu, which was really good. Happily offered tasters of different types of beers to ensure that we were ordering something we would enjoy, which again is a big plus when looking at such a variation of offers.
The atmosphere is excellent in Brew Dog. Music is good, not too loud, but also loud enough for you to hear and appreciate whilst having a conversation without struggling to hear one another.
Top dog 👌😉
A beautiful country pub that is very dog friendly, breakfasts are very reasonably priced and one of the best breakfasts I've had. Staff are very welcoming and friendly, service is brilliant. Good selection of drinks at the bar and a great outside area.
We held a small wake at the Fir Tree Inn. Emily was very accommodating and the buffet was beautifully presented and freshly made for us. We appreciate the great service.

Really lovely night away using their "Eat and Stay" deal. Although there was some confusion between booking and actually being there with when the food in the deal was available. The staff were extremely helpful though and arranged for the kitchen to stay open slightly later to accommodate our plans and the miscommunication. Incredible value deal though. Rooms were comfortable although nothing to shout about. The shower was extremely powerful which was brilliant when you were in it, not so much when you were figuring out the taps and drenched the bathroom! 😂 Minimal noise from neighbouring rooms but I was glad the weather was bad as I was located by the lovely outside terrace. Food was incredible, between our party we tried lots of different things and all were well received. Really good choice of drinks available too. Would definitely stay again, especially if they repeat the deal!
Went for wing Wednesday yesterday, service and restaurant in general was good. Shame the wings were vile. The Korean bbq tasted off to me so I ordered plain wings with buffalo sauce and the coating on them was so thick and greasy it was so tough to eat them. Not to mention they only bring 4 wings per 'round' which took us about 3 minutes to eat then you have to wait 10 plus minutes for more. Won't be coming back in a hurry.
Lovely evening at The Swan as
always. Dinner with my brother
before he flies back to Australia
Amazing food, steak was delicious, perfectly
cooked.
Very friendly & helpful staff, thanks Nat for giving us your time and recommendations!
Great customer service 😊
You made my little bro 'eat his
Australian hat' with your vegan
custard!
See you again soon. X

We came here as a large family group of adults and children for Sunday lunch. We were kindly seated in one of the quieter, brighter rooms at the front of the pub. Overall, the food was good (roast was tasty and extra gravy if needed but the potatoes were a bit bland and small portion of veg) - but what made it a great experience was the incredible service from Lara, the waitress who was so friendly and looked after us so well and made sure we had everything we needed.

Proper good old fashioned village pub in the heart of Milton Keynes. Good friendly atmosphere, good service, decent selection of drinks.

Lovely menu serving decent old school food that has that homemade taste and feel to it
Went in to watch Six Nations rugby on the big screen. The place was buzzing & there was a friendly atmosphere. Staff were very helpful when it came to recommending beers. Service was fast & efficient. A great range a beers & food on offer. One of the best Brewdogs I've been to & will return.

Super nice restaurant, 10/10. Service was good also!
We booked an area for my mum's 60th birthday surprise party/gathering. The staff from first contact couldn't have been more helpful anything we needed or wanted they accommodated. The buffet that was odered was so nice all the geusts commented on how tasty the food was. I would definitely recommend if you are wanting to hold an event. Thank you everyone
Typical BrewDog with regard to range of craft beers, the usual mix of mainly BrewDog ales, combined with a handful of guests.

Staff however were very friendly and welcoming.

I have been told previously that individual managers in the bars have the authority to select what guest beers are on, but this place seemed very samey to other BrewDog bars.

Didn't try the food this time.

A small oasis in Milton Keynes.

The Birch at Woburn is one of favourite local restaurants.

Mark and his team are always welcoming and friendly, and even on a busy Saturday night they found time to make it a personal experience.

While my wife and I are omnivores, other members in our family are vegans (i.e. no animal-based meals: no eggs, no dairy).

While we don't expect a separate vegan menu to be available, - it would be appreciated if there were at least a choice of two interesting vegan options for each course. After all, omnivores choose vegan meals too sometimes. :-)

This accounts for the 4* rating on food - otherwise it would definitely be 5*.

Looking forward to our next visit.
Beautiful little pub. Exquisite cosy decor. Had the but roast Sunday roast which was absolutely delicious. My only minor criticism was there wasn't enough green veg (only 2 stems of broccoli). Our server was very friendly and helpful. Service was very fast too. Would love to visit here again!

The Galleon hosted my Father in Law's wake and they were absolutely fantastic. Communication was great, buffet was brilliant & plentiful and extremely good value. George & the team were very friendly & even agreed to open slightly earlier for us. I would highly recommend this venue - thanks so much guys, we really appreciate everything you've done.

Sunday lunch, did not stay in hotel so no review for accommodation.
Delicious meal. Varied menu, even on a Sunday, especially the number of gluten free options available. We ate in the restaurant which was beautiful. Lovely for a special occasion. Previously I have ordered food in bar area as I had a dog with me. Equally good meal with no difference in service. All staff were polite, helpful, professional and friendly.
Parking easy in hotel car park.

First time visiting The Birch, we normally go to the sister restaurant The Black Horse at Ireland. The staff at The Birch were friendly and attentive. There was a relaxed atmosphere which was inviting. The food was delicious I have the Ham Hock Terrine to start followed by the Lamb shoulder served with mash and mushroom finished with a Apple and Blackberry Crumble with Custard. Everything was define! We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend well worth a visit!

We visited for an impromptu meal and found an excellent restaurant experience.

Plenty of room, attentive staff and a pleasant meal.

We dropped our child's favourite toy in the car park, and didn't realise until we had got home. A quick call and not only did they find the toy, but they also kept it safe until I could come and collect it.

I will be forever grateful 🙂

Burger and pam fried cod were great. Roast dinners not so much. Battered fish looked good, but didn't try it. Creme brule was overcooked, but tasty. Pavlova was decent.
Drinks were lush. Atmosphere was spot on. Service was fantastic. Don't live in the area, but would happily return next time I'm nearby.
I booked the function room for my retirement party last Friday eve for 30 people - there was plenty of seats & space in the area which is not closed off to the bar area.
I can only describe the buffet as excellent. Attentive staff and a special mention for James. The atmosphere in the whole building was lively assisted by a DJ playing well known songs.
Thank you to the General managers.... Scott and Tracie
Best bar in Milton Keynes. Heaps of choices of beers. Today there were 24 beers on tap, 2 ciders on tap and heaps of bottles and cans to take away too. You can also ask for a discount if you are local.
I'm very happy.
Very nice.
I come back.
Nice food.
Nice atmosphere.
The BEST stuff.
Lovely
Always wanted to visit here and was pleased I did. The waterside location would be better on a warm Summer day but the pubs interior is very well laid out and furnished to a high standard. The staff were genuinely welcoming and very efficient. The lunchtime food choice was fairly standard but the food itself was delicious. A set menu of two or three course options was reasonably priced.
First time here. Very lovely restaurant, located close to the canals, food was very good, we just thought it would be nice to know this place during summer. They have a decked terrace with a cool view. Really great atmosphere. Plan to come next visit too!!
Love this pub. Food staff and atmosphere cannot be faulted. Decided on Sunday Roast Dinner. Great decision.
Incredible roast - one of the best I’ve ever had. Wonderful atmosphere and friendly staff and live music on occasion. A must go if you’re in the area.

Great pub with a nice relaxed atmosphere, an LGBTQ+ friendly pub. We went for drag bingo with friends and had an amazing night! Coming straight from work we decided to eat here and was really impressed with the food. We had the burger, and I was happily surprised to see that it had been made in house! It was cooked to perfection and was very tasty. The drinks were good and the bar staff friendly and knowledgeable. We hadn't intended on it, but stayed until after last orders. We will be returning again and again.

Brilliant big pub and close to city centre friendly staff free wi-fi live tv sports brilliant pool table and dart board toilets are clean great food and cheap I ain't been here since the pandemic so visited today and played 4 games of pool not great price for £1.50 but still worth it and had a pint of diet coke and prawn crisps probably my favourite Greene King pub in MK
We live near to the Station, and had dinner here with family to celebrate a birthday. There were 20 of us. We had pre-ordered our food, which was great. The staff were terrific, friendly and really helpful. Meals included Lasagne, Grilled Salmon, Chicken New Yorker with dessert and of course Doom Bar 🍺. Great job and recommended.
