First time at Lemon Garden.
Great service, fantastic food, full of flavour, big portions. So good. Finally an awesome Chinese food restaurant.. so worth the drive to this place.

Staff are warm and friendly. Food is great. I pick up from here often.

Amazing food. I’ve only had the dumplings and the Shanghai noodles with pork. I go every weekend now. Its always consistently delicious and timely:

If I hadn’t had previously okay experiences this would be one star.
I am smart enough to know that things I get from some places just won’t be to my liking or to my taste. It was entirely how the situation was handled that I am writing this poor review.
I said “excuse me I know this is what I ordered, I just don’t think I can eat it.” The presentation was pretty unappetizing and I was already very hungry. The beef dip was served like cold roast beef with just mayonnaise on a bun and the “jus” was just gravy watered down. I politely asked for something else and I was shamed for wasting it. I was also made to pay for both meals. This certainly wasn’t what I expected and it’s pretty disappointing. Of course I took it cause I felt really uncomfortable. On my walk home, the gravy mixed with the water nicely but I don’t think I would eat it.
I’ve worked in restaurants before and know that some things are up to personal taste or how that place makes the item; that’s not my problem. Although it was bad, it was how it had been handled.

I'm puzzled by the negative reviews here. We ordered the satay beef sub and satay vermicelli noodles, and I have to say, they delivered some of the most delightful flavors I've experienced in a while. I can be quite discerning when it comes to subs, but this place truly impressed us. The service was great too. I will recommend them any day

The so called “calamari” on their menu is a bit misleading. I think they need to change the menu to say “calamari salad” OR “fennel salad with calamari” because if we had known that we definitely would not have ordered it! The fennel was insanely overpowering and you couldn’t taste anything but that. it was a sad excuse for calamari (see attached picture)

We also ordered two pasta dishes (gnocchi & spaghetti pomodoro) which were nothing special. For the price of the dishes at this restaurant it really wasn’t anything remarkable. Not sure if they had a change in management or head chef in the last year but I can’t recall having such a negative review of this restaurant the last time I was here in February 2022.

The tiramisu was probably the only highlight of our dinner.

Staff were also kind and the vibes were nice otherwise!

The food was pretty awful. The sate sub was just beef and carrots (and weirdly cut into rounds). Oh and a single STEM of a cilantro. Not any leaves on it, just the stem. Just gross. There was no onions, cilantro, or cucumbers. The pork vermicelli meat was very dry and tasted old. We also found a completely blackened peanut in the dish too, it took us awhile to figure out what it was. I used to like this place (their pho anyways) but it seems to have completely gone downhill and you can assume by the quality, they just don’t care anymore!

Asked for charbroiled ground beef, pork and shrimp and literally was just given hotdogs instead.
Called them and they say that's what's normally served.
Literally never gotten this type of meat when ordering elsewhere
