It’s just beautiful. Lots of fashionable people about, more strolling the park on a beautiful Sunday. The restaurants on the circle are noisy and crowded. We enjoyed Tapas and cocktails on the rooftop at Centro. Then dinner on a side street at a place frequented by charming French tourists.

The statue of el Oso y el Madroño is checkbox tourism. Located in Puerta del Sol, a large square in a tourist part of Madrid, the statue stands four meters tall and is made of stone and bronze. Aside from looking up at it and taking a selfie, not much else to do in this often loud and crowded plaza.
