Fantastic and delicious foods, also the potion is quite enough for man, better to order for sharing, then you can try more different dishes.
Wow go easy on the soy sauce bruh 😳 You almost accidentally gave me a whole teaspoon of it 😂 Very generous. I ordered a takeaway: 4 gyozas and a Shui Kao soup. The gyozas were nice, the flavor of the soup bit too salty, but the shrimp the worst. It was clearly old, if not days old. It was hard to chew and not cleaned properly. Like it was chopped up and maybe even ground together with other meat because it definitely did not smell and taste nor look like it was only shrimp. I think after 3 bites I am even going to have to say it was the worst, I never had shrimp like this anywhere else before and couldn’t finish eating it.

Good for a full group dinner or a quick lunch with noodles or Rice dishes. Authentic Chinese cuisine in a classy manner. comparable to good-quality restaurants in Asia.

Because of the reviews, I had very high expectations. Unfortunately, the waiter was very rude. He was not welcoming and was treating us with disrespect. The portions are tiny and not worth the price. The taste is bland. I will never go back to a place where you are treated like you are trash. There are so many more better places in Amsterdam to eat and get treated with more respect and kindness. If you come to Amsterdam, go to Zeedijk (CHINA TOWN) near Amsterdam CS. You will find something better.
Do yourself a favour and don't go here. The staff is not welcoming nor friendly. When you ask for an explanation of a dish, the waiter did not elaborate. He did not like his job. It was just a waste of money. The food was disgusting. And when I asked for another dish because I didn't like it. The waiter said I can have another one, but I have to pay for both. The dishes are overpriced, gross and very small. I paid 72 euro's for something I could not even swallow. It's worthless. Be careful because they are taking your money because you have it and taking advantage of you. There are many restaurants in the area where the staff will treat you like a kind and Queen.
Hello...
I had a request for the owner of this place...
I'm from India and my girlfriend mentioned that your noodles are one of the best food that she has ever had!
I wanna make it for her as a surprise.

Would you be willing to share it's recipe with me? I'd be forever grateful if you do😊

P.S. Attaching a picture shared by her for your reference
The food is really good, the portions are huge, ordered a curry and a soup for two people. You have to order at the counter, but then the service is fast.

I'm for sure minimum 3 times a month at Asian Kitchen!

Food is amazing, like noodle soup, fried rice with chicken mostly dishes are super good and super faster then any restaurants in Amsterdam!

The staff is friendly always a big smile and helpful, even not expensive☺️

I love this place and wish them all the best, thanks a lot guys for your delicious food, service and time to invest in all the customers🙏
I recently dined at “Asian Kitchen” and I must say, it was a disappointing experience for several reasons; I just want to share it here.

*Ambiance*: The restaurant doesn’t offer any authentic Asian atmosphere. The decor is quite poor, though the one positive aspect is the open kitchen, where you can watch the chefs cooking.

*Food*: When the food arrived, it initially looked promising, especially with the vibrant colors of the meat. Unfortunately, the taste did not match the appearance. The roasted pork was very tender but almost flavorless, and the sauce seemed off. I’ve had this dish in many restaurants, and this one was truly disappointing. The wonton soup was terrible. The "soup" was just boiled water with some chopped onions, completely transparent and tasteless. The menu described it as a "clear broth," not "water," and even the wontons had a strange taste. While the portions were large, this didn’t make up for the lack of flavor and quality.

*Service*: The food arrived quickly, but my utensils were practically thrown at me by the waitress, who rudely tossed them in my direction without care for where they landed. I want to note that the restaurant was nearly empty, so this behavior cannot be excused by busy-ness.

*Price*: The place is not expensive, although it seems prices have increased over the past year without a corresponding increase in quality. I don't think the price is fair because you can get the same dishes, with better quality, for a similar price in Chinatown in Amsterdam.

Overall, I'm sorry to say this, but I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Located in Amsterdam Chinatown & also the Red Light District. Wing Kee is by far the most decent Asian restaurant. We found it quite authentic as compared to some Asian restaurant in Europe. We went there on a Saturday night, place was quite packed. No reservations, it is first come first served. We were more surprised when the staff were speaking Cantonese! We waited for about 15 mins before we got a table. This is a no frill restaurant, menu was pretty decent. We spoke to the server, Wing Kee has been in business over 40 years by the same owner. We ordered the 3 meat plate, stir fry greens, stuff tofu with sauce & a wonton soup. With white rice. Everything was good & delicious, the soup for the wanton wasn’t salty, soup was actually flavourful. The sauce that came with the 3 meat was good to put on rice. The stuffed tofu with sauce was very good. The setting in the restaurant is simple, like I said… no frills, just decent Cantonese food which is a rare find in any European cities.

Authentiek Chinees eethuis.
I ordered the food then went to wash my hands. I came out and boom. BOOM. Deliciousness. Ready in 4 minutes. Not precooked. Just efficient service.

Dinner on the dam table!

So fast. So pure. Everything you need for 11 euro. Almost too much food!!!

I love fried rice.

Cuisine : so tasty !! All the ingredients were fresh, freshly cooked and rich in flavor. It’s a challenge to keep both quality and variety. And somehow Hoi Tin manages to do so. Plus the portions for the main courses are so generous( it explains the prices along with the quality)

Service : The waiters/waitresses were welcoming, kind and caring.

Ambiance: humble Chinese decoration, quite immersive. However the place is often crowded, so don’t expect to eat peacefully in calm. But that was the only inconvenient.
Amazing foood, probably some of the best Asian food in Amsterdam! Service was amazing, Sam was our server and he was so lovely! Would recommend
Went there yesterday and ordered 2 bowls of curry noodle. The portion was huge, shared by 3 of us yet make us super full.
Waiters are friendly with big smiley face, after close to 2 weeks of western food, the curry noodle here warm my tummy and spice up my days. Nice one
The portion is big and the curry noodle taste is sooooo delicious. Highly Recommended.

The food was authentic however we found the char-siu a little tough and chewy. The service was brief but efficient. It was nice that they provided a big pot of tea with just a small cover charge for each person.

Best Chinese food I’ve ever had. I used to be a regular years ago, before covid, and could not rave enough about the food. Now years later anytime I come to visit Amsterdam I drag all my friends. Love this place so happy to see it still doing well after all these years.

We went to the Chinese quarter to find somewhere to eat. We went to Hoi Tin, it was very busy. We waited 10 minutes for a table, I thought this was a reasonable amount of time given the time we set out to eat.

Service was very quick, we ordered sliced chicken with cashew nuts, salt and pepper prawns and sweet and sour chicken with steamed rice.

The food came very quickly considering the restaurant was very busy. All freshly cooked and tasted good.

The glasses of house red are very small. Maybe order a double if you want it to last throughout your meal. We had minute maid apple juice, haven't seen those in years not in the UK anyway.
Highly recommended! A must eat when in Amsterdam. Value for money. Large serving size. Friendly staff. On point flavors! Amazing! Accepts cash and card. Again, highly recommended. Worth the calories.

Even though NiewMarkt Amsterdam has many Chinese restaurants, Wing Kee is my favorite one. This restaurant is the real OG style of Hong Kong vibes, not only in its decoration but also in the staff uniforms that we always saw in Chinese restaurants when we were young. The roasted duck skin is exceptional, and other menu items provide comfort food reminiscent of home. Additionally, the lemon tea pairs nicely with the food.

In my opinion: I think duck skin tastes better in the dinner time. I tried it once at noon, and it seemed that the skin hadn't reached that level of crispy yet. But it’s always nice tho. 🦆
I asked travelers about good restaurants in Amsterdam and they replied Chinese food. They were right. Dynasty has delicious Dim Sum, Chicken with sweet basil, Pad Thai and fried rice.
great portion sizes, food was nice I had sweet and sour chicken it was nothing to scream about but was nice, my boyfriend had the new season noodles and loved it. The chicken dumplings were very nice. The staff were lovely, very friendly and polite. Small family run type restaurant, chilled calm quiet environment, was nice and warm in there when it was raining too.

Wij komen zeker terug!

My favourite restaurant. Was here during 1979 to 1990. Just visiting AMS after 34 yrs. I return for my favourite food, stuffed trout, sea cucumber with abelone, beef noodles. Taste great as usual. I am sure the rest of the menu is also great but cat wait to eat my favourite. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The main course is good, by taste and quality. I think that white rice is overpriced. It is not soft as it should be so I dont think that €6 for 1 portion of white rice is worth it.

Have ordered a few different dishes from here and on the whole the quality of food is poor especially for the high prices.

Only been here for the Chinese Bakery. They have the best pork buns I've ever tasted in the Netherlands and only for €2 per bun. And they are generous with the pork filling.
Very tasty. The staff is very efficient. The price is very affordable.

I can recommend to take a chicken soup: it is a small portion but hot, and so simple in taste.

Even if there is no empty table - you can wait a bit in the queue and the staff provide you a seat shortly.
New China City in Amsterdam offers a captivating blend of authentic Chinese culture and contemporary urban living. With its bustling streets filled with vibrant markets, traditional tea houses, and authentic cuisine, it provides visitors with a taste of China right in the heart of Amsterdam. The district's architectural design pays homage to China's rich history and cultural heritage while incorporating modern amenities and conveniences. Whether you're craving authentic Chinese cuisine, seeking unique shopping experiences, or simply exploring the dynamic atmosphere, New China City offers a fascinating glimpse into the fusion of Eastern and Western cultures in Amsterdam's diverse landscape.

The place is huge, we went without a reservation on a Sunday night and waited only 5 minutes to be seated.
Vegetarian options, obviously 🌱
Very friendly waiters, all of them.
Good food for being in the middle of the center.
We did not stay long enough to eat so I cannot leave a review for this. The reason we did not stay was because our table was just dirty, stained napkin+table cloth and hair on it as well.
It felt old and outdated and the menu was not appealing to us. It was just not a nice atmosphere and I would not recommend

Authentic Hong Kong style restaurant. Food was delicious. The beef stew is a must ordered item in the menu. The flavour was rich and the meat was very tender. Be early like 6pm as a queue formed outside the restaurant after we left. You know a Chinese restaurant is a good one if you see the majority of clientele is Chinese. This one definitely is one.

The portion is very satisfactory!!! The staff was friendly. My fried noodles were tasty though a bit oily. The price is very fair for Amsterdam standard. I’d certainly revisit if I’m around the neighborhood.

Great fine Chinese food. Everything felt balanced and fresh! Great wine and wonderful tea sellection and explanation. I will be back.
My friends and I ate at this restaurant during our travel in Amsterdam, and we absolutely demolished the food! The portion size is huge, price is affordable, and the food is so so delicious. I highly recommend the Kerry Laksa and the Peking Duck. Eating here is worth your money, you will not be disappointed. We love the food so much, we came back the next day for lunch. We left this place both times feeling full and happy. I would come back to Amsterdam just for this.
One of the highlights of my Amsterdam trip. A much needed break from the burgers and chips that floods the city. This place left such a mark on me and my friends that we came two days in a row and still talk about it to this day.
Shoutout to the chefs and waiters for providing us one of the best meals we have had. Very affordable given the prices in the city & the portions are quite generous too.
Would come back to Amsterdam just to eat this food again!

Amazing 🐉 stunning fresh food and simply the best service. We had three courses and drinks for under 75 euros. Each dish is cooked to order, service is relaxed and unhurried, we arrived late for dinner one night however the owners remained open for us. A must visit away from the rush of the city. Fantastic variety on the menu and I'm sure they would accommodate your every wish.
Tried their Black bean beef and Singapore noodles. What I like most is the black bean beef. The beef is tender and very saucy. And tasty, as well. The prawn in their Singapore noodles is better than the glass prawn used for such fried noodles in Singapore unless you go to an expensive restaurant back home.

However, there are very few vegetables in the vegetarian spring roll. The skin is a little thick, by comparison when the ingredients inside are less.

On the whole, I still enjoy the meal.

Had a good experience. It was a busy night but we were seated in less than 15 mins. It looks much smaller from the outside but quite a lot of space between the 2 floors. Food quality was great and came out quickly. We got a wide selection of dim sum and weren't disappointed. Will definitely be back again!
Good and old Dynasty! Looking back 40 yrs with dishes that are still fashionable and attractive, good ingrediënts and sharp cooking. The same interior with dark blue and shiny paintings and umbrella’s at the ceiling. Loving it 🧡🌶️🔥☀️

I would rank it a 4.3 star if possible.

To my personal taste it could enter 5 stars with some more veggie dishes and less richness in taste, calories and meats.
Have been there soo much with great memories, but my personal taste changed. I love to still feel light after dinner. See you soon there of course.
Our favourite restaurant in Amsterdam!
We ordered pork dumpling noodle soup each, plus black bean chicken and egg fried rice, and also salt & pepper chicken with noodles. Sounds a lot, but we ate it all!! It was amazing!

The cabbage and veggies were cooked well, with a slight crunch. The broth was insane with flavours!!!! The salt & pepper chicken was perfectly crispy but moist chicken inside (good quality meat!) and seasoned so well!

The flavour, the saltiness, the sweetness… it was exactly what we wanted from a noodle/Chinese. We are gutted to leave Amsterdam knowing we won’t have this restaurant back home!!

Small restaurant, very popular and COMPLETELY worth it!
The starters (Dim Sum, Wantan Soup and spring rolls) were from frozen products.
The main courses are ok, but do lack any kind of complexity.
The level of the food is from a takeout.

Service was good and fast, but overall the food was disappointing.

The food used to be better. The dim sum tasted very ordinary to me and the soy sauce seemed deluded with water. The man who was serving was very friendly. The kitchen was so slow. It took so long for the food to come out, which I am not used to from Hoi Tin. Prices are acceptable.

I absolutely love this restaurant! I've been a loyal customer for years and it never disappoints. The staff is super friendly, and the food never disappoints. Everything tastes fresh, especially their amazing "Hot and Sour Soup" – it's always packed with flavor. And don't even get me started on their Corn Soup; it's absolutely delicious. Oh, and you've got to try the Duck it's a definite must-try!
