Very tasty dishes and nice wine. Service was really good as well, especially the 2 young guys! The ladies seemed a bit grumpy at times!😄 Would recommend and will be back?

Taste of Culture is absolutely the favorite in Amsterdam. Such a good selection of food there! This time, we ordered duck and sweet and sour chicken - all were incredible. The crunch of the skin on the duck was just perfect. The vegetables, the sauce on sweet and sour chicken went very well together. The service was very helpful as I asked for their recommendations. We needed to wait 30 minutes for our food to be brought out but we were warned about it before we got the table and as we weren’t in a rush, we were totally okay with it! We went around 11pm.
The meals were tasty as other reviewer clearly stated, but I am giving a 2 star for service because what in hell are they charging 16 Euros for a 75cl bottle of water and we were not even given a drink menu to be aware of the exorbitant rate( probably a scheme to scam tourist of some hidden charges)!!!
Apparently, we drank 2 bottles and paid 32 euros for just water!! What in the hell 😳..

We are quite picky with Chinese restaurants, especially high end ones, and this place definitely hit the spot! We were actually on our way to another highly rated Chinese restaurant in Amsterdam and the vibe of FuLu drew us in. We got the duck, Chinese spinach, steamed fish, and each dish was quite legit. Full of flavor, can taste the quality! Service is fast, and despite them warning us the fish will take awhile, it actually arrived faster than we anticipated. The only con as an American is you have to pay for tap water which is common for European restaurants, but at least the tipping culture isn’t out of control like USA restaurants.
We ordered in this restaurant as we were visiting Amsterdam unfortunately trusting the Ubereats reviews. probably the worst Chinese food I ate in years. Fried noodles with chicken with almost NO chicken and dry like they were prepared yesterday. The fried chicken wings were a case for the trash, everything else tasted bad and dull. Just a money grab … avoid at all costs!!! I had already a bad feeling when I got my food and the restaurant was almost empty on a Saturday evening. Wasted money ☹️
Allerlei vegetarische gerechten besteld, uiteraard niet zonder reden, maar letterlijk alles bevatte vlees!! Ik dacht ik ga eromheen eten maar de smaak van de rest was ook niet goed. Probeerde ze te bellen maar er wordt niet opgenomen en er is geen emailadres om ze op een andere manier te bereiken. Hier bestel ik dus nooit meer!
Absolutely delicious food, i thoroughly enjoyed the authentic taste. We had normal spice level since we didnt know how much it would be adjusted to dutch standards but turned out we couldve gone for max spice aswell. Absolutely delicious nonetheless! Can really recommend the pigs ear :)
The only thing i didnt really like is that the tables were set up quite close and the guy behind me was very big and there was barely any space for me to sit since his chair was almost at my table. But the staff was very friendly and food was served Quickly!

The food is mediocre and the guy serving was extremely rude. Escalated to the owner - she was not much nicer. There was a party of several hundreds people running next door, and they seemed to be annoyed with it. They highlighted numerous times that they were not part of that party. As a result - no tips, no extra orders (which would have been the case otherwise), and a bad review. How can you be such an idiot…

Impeccable service. Well done Sichuan Chinese food - highly recommend the Mapo Tofu. Prices are a bit high but overall the quality matches it - it would be nicer if steamed rice was included and vegetables were cheaper. Will definitely be back.

We loved the food we got (beef on black bean sauce, beef fried noodles and Ziao Long Bao) all was super tasty and honestly would come back just for the bao because those and the complimentary chilli oil SLAPPED! Only complaint was that we had to pay with cash but worth it for a tasty meal ☺️
A Chinese bistro serving typical. delicious yet inexpensive Chinese food. The stir-fried beef is just right, juicy and tender. I would say even better than those served in high-end Chinese restaurant. It’s a good choice for those who want some alternatives other than pizza, burger and fries.

Most iconic cities have that one (or a few) great chinese restaurant. This is it for Amsterdam. Good luck getting in here without a reservation, go early or go late if you don't. The place is clean, packed, and loud. Service is borderline rude, which is how it should be at these types of restaurants, since it has to be fast. The food is just great and the way it's all served in hot clay dishes is even more amazing. A little less salty and a little more oily than other places. Yes, I'm comparing it to other great Chinese places in big cities. My only regret here is not coming with more people to try more dishes. Oh, and the chili oil/sauce is phenomenal.

I celebrated my twin brother’s and my birthday at FuLu Mandarijn with my family for dinner. From the warm greeting by the staff to the inviting ambiance, it was a delightful experience. The restaurant wasn’t too noisy, allowing us to enjoy our meal. Speaking of the meal, the food was delicious, offering great value for money. The servers were very fast to serve and friendly, even sharing laughs with us. Since it was our birthday, we received a discount, though you need to be a member and dine on your birthday for it to be applicable. Overall, it was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a while. A special shoutout to the staff on the third floor for their excellent service. Your smiles and kindness won’t be forgotten. As a local, I highly recommend dining here to everyone!
Absolutely delicious.. so glad we found this place completely by chance. Perfect meal for a cold rainy day. It's a family run place so shouldn't have any doubts about quality.

Average food. Overhyped. They don't even have extra soup spoon when I asked them. Food is average. Not highly recommended. The staff is nice and polite. Ambience is also moderate. Overall its ok type. Price is low.
Sichuan Food was a complete culinary experience. We had the pleasure to come during our anniversary dinner, and honestly we couldn't have chosen any better! The service was excellent and the food was beyond tasty. We had the pecking duck menu for two people and it was mindblowing!
Would definitely come again, and I highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice restaurant to celebrate a special occasion.

This is my favorite Asian restaurant in Amsterdam! It was also my first meal in Amsterdam. It tastes authentic Chinese! My most recommended dishes are the spicy chicken and twice-cooked pork, which are delicious when eaten with rice! These are very classic Sichuan dishes. Their service is very good, the waiters are very friendly and patient, and the food is served quickly. If you want to experience authentic Asian Chinese food, this restaurant is definitely your best choice!

The food is perfect! Dry-fried chicken leg fillet with dry red chili peppers is my favorite. Plus, Double-fried thin pork belly slices and Stone potted sea bass are all with authentic sichuan flavor. It drives me back to China when I taste them.
The look is also stunning, making it very appetizing. Each dish is carefully arranged to add to the overall aesthetic appeal of the dining experience.

I never had a chinese restaurant with.a high class service .the food is perfect and is a huge amount you ending bringing food.after dinner you will get a hot towel to clean your hand thats is for me a class A .restaurant.Good job

Definitely the best Chinese restaurant in Amsterdam! If you are interested in authentic Chinese food, I highly recommend you try this place. We tried fish and some chicken and I must say it tasted like nothing I've ever tried before! Before coming here, you can't imagine these ingredients being cooked like this. The dining environment inside is comfortable and the food is served quickly. I must say I am amazed by the variety of tableware. I recommend this spicy chicken dish, you must be bold and try this spicy dish. I can guarantee that this is a new experience that you won’t regret!
Good fast food. light and good food. Price paid for 2 people (2 menus) 24.40 euros including 2 dishes of rice, meat and fish and 2 drinks. there are 4 tables outside and about 8 seats inside. It's a family run business (I think it's husband and wife). 🙂
Stopped around lunch time for some Asian food. Asked to use restroom after we got seated. Lady said she needed time to clean. So we had to wait 5 minutes. Took a while for her to take the order. Ordered chicken and bean sauce with veggies and noodle bowl. Quality of food was not really great… service was bad. Lady was borderline rude. Did notice a lot of food delivery services pickup to go meals. forgot to mention that throughout the lunch, there was some horrible, loud techno music playing.

Best Chinese restaurant dining experience in Amsterdam! Providing attentive service and delicious dishes. Went with friends, we got a warm welcome, as the staff patiently explained the menu and dishes. The dishes are authentic Sichuan cuisine, everyone thoroughly enjoyed the flavors. The spicy chicken, beef with tofu, and dry-fried green beans are highly recommended. In addition, the restaurant conveniently located just across from Rokin metro station, also it's a mere 10-minute walk from Central Station. Highly recommended!

It’s Chinese NY today. We were very happy with the food. It was delicious. Roast duck was tender and flavourful. The dishes came out hot and steaming and looked extremely appetising. Even better, we ate everything as it tasted as good as it looked. It feels like an authentic Chinese restaurant and the service was good too.
Nice Sichuan restaurant in Amsterdam with cozy ambience. The food was spicy and delicious. Fried rice was flavorful and the chicken dish was really tasty. The dessert was surprisingly yummy, roasted banana with ice cream and chocolate syrup. Overall we had an amazing dinner and would love to visit again.

The food was terrible. Egg noodles weren't properly cooked. They cleared hadn't been properly tossed in sauce leaving the noodles tasting bland and dry. Chicken noodles lacked much flavours. On top of it, the waiter was not the most politest. Kindly look for some other place on this street, there are many to choose from.
One of the best authentic Chinese restaurants near Dam Square! All my friends enjoyed the food at FuLu because the spicy and non-spicy dishes we had were both very tasty. There are also options for vegans and vegetarians, which is so nice!! The spicy food in the restaurant is amazing. If you like spicy Sichuan food, don’t miss it!! 😆
All the food is of good quality, and most foods have large portions. I highly recommend lamb with black pepper, lamb burrito, and beef in sour soup, they are all very delicious!! Milk bubble tea and homemade ice lemon tea are very good drinks. 💕

Hidden gem in central Amsterdam. When you see this place you wouldn't expect much of it but it honestly has some of the best chinese food I ever tried. Both the Peking duck and pork belly were fabulous and also served quickly for how extensive the dishes are. Will definitely return for more.

The waitress was really nice. The location is perfect in the centre. I had the vegetable soup along with crispy Gyoza and was very pleased with the rich flavor. The Gyoza could have been a little less crispy as they were thus a little dry but all in all it was a very good experience.

We came here from Essen Germany where Chinese food is far from authentic. Here we were satisfied. So many delicious dim sum classics. Awesome...we left quite satisfied.
I had the Set G and was very satisfied with the flavour, amount and price! We went for a quick dinner and paid under 35 with tea inclusive menu (my set G), extra green tea and dessert. Would definitely come buy when you're in Amsterdam.
Was searching for Asian food in the middle of the night and found this little restaurant. I ordered a staple "chicken fried rice" because I have high expectations for fried rice in Asian restaurants, and it was great. The rice wasn't sticky, the chicken was tender, the saltiness was spot on, and the veggies were very flavorful. This restaurant feels like a hidden gem, secretly offering very delicious Asian cuisine.

The food was hot, fresh, crispy and tasty... and the presentation of the meal was very good. It all looked very beautiful.

Went for the dumplings and they were really nice. So good we even ordered more. We got the table at the window, really nice casual spot.
Heb hier ontzettend lekker foe jong hai gegeten met mijn vriend. De bediening was zo lief en behulpzaam. Het heeft een eigenzinnige sfeer en is een belangrijke toevoeging aan het straatbeeld. Chapeau!
We had the tofu curry with rice.. somebody who loves tofu, curry and rice will like the food and taste.. price was also reasonable.. their roti role is quite famous..
Leider war hier sehr wenig amazing. Das Essen war fad im Geschmack, die Preise dafür sehr hoch. Ein Gericht schmeckte überhaupt nicht, sodass wir es gar nicht essen konnten. An diesem Laden kann man ruhig vorbei gehen.

Calm Ambiente, best fried noodles we ate and the soup was perfect for calming the belly. Very kind waitress and very fast. Cheaper than many other stores and tastier too! Loved it here.
Oei! Heel slecht! Hier buikspek besteld en het was de slechtste die ik ooit heb gehad. Karige portie halfrauwe groente onderin. En dan ook nog eens de helft qua portie wat je bij een ander restaurant zou krijgen.
Als het goed was geweest hadden ze een vaste klant aan mij gehad maar ik zou iedereen aanraden deze plek heel hard te vermijden! Dit is letterlijk het simpelste gerecht op de kaart en als dat als zo slecht gemaakt is en ze kinderporties verkopen voor de hoofdprijs, dan krijg je van mij 1 ster. Helaas.

Prima tent, wel erg ouderwets maar verder is het schoon en netjes. Het eten was goed betaalbaar en goed van smaak. De dames zijn heel vriendelijk en denken met je mee.

Nette Überraschung, spartanisches Mobiliar, dafür umso besseres Essen und Jasmintee.
Das war eine echte Katastrophe. Der Kellner war unfreundlich und das Essen war nicht besonders. Das Ambiente ist ebenfalls nicht sehenswert
