Dropped into Bamboo unannounced and had no booking. Waitstaff were very helpful in finding us some seats. Place is renovated, I like the new look, seems more welcoming and look more 'hawker' style. I ordered the chicken sweet corn soup which was a little too salty for my liking. My main was the Chow Mein (crispy noodles), the sauce was glossy and delicious, the prawns well cooked with a nice bite to it. Also ordered hot Teh Tarik, but unfortunately it never came and I didn't have time to re-order (waitstaff took this item off my bill so I wasn't charged).
