Oh no it’s not often I give less than favourable reviews but I thought this place could do better. The atmosphere well I thought was well, alright… it just lacked something… just like an average meal for one at home or a trip to the local cafe… it was just.. lack lustre. We sat upstairs and the place is small and 4 other tables were dining with us… it is nice for a quick casual bite during the weekend but for a Saturday night - not really, needs to be better especially for the price of some of the dishes… (not that I was paying). There were 4 of us and we ordered 8 dishes but went elsewhere for desert and drinks. Personally I wasn’t impressed with the food - just weird - crispy deep friend olives covered in a dip. (My companions enjoyed these) undercooked calves liver (I didn’t mind but my companions disliked) , foccacia bread was dry, the burrata salad was not particularly flavoursome. The tuna was delicious though and pictured below. The white wine was nice we ordered a bottle of the white but the red wine wasn’t impressive. I was excited about this place and

First appearance was good with a warm welcome and courteous staff . Then we moved to the food
My panna cotta caprino was a bit rubbery with no flavour.
Main course a sea bass filet with mussels in a broth was a major disappointment COLD the mussels were dry and the ‘ Broth’ wax more like cold water I couldn’t eat it so send it back. I am not sure if I go back to Margot !!

Zauberhaftes kleines Restaurant mit sehr guter Küche und freundlichem Service. Wir gehen wieder hin.
My husband and I had dinner at Il Borro over the weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The food, ambience, setting and experience was lovely, however, our waitress, Nadia was outstanding and really alleviated our whole experience of dining at the restaurant. She was warm, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. She provided us with great advice on our menu choices and once the food and drink had arrived, kept checking in on us (without being too fussy and intrusive) to ensure that we were happy. If you decide to dine at Il Borro, you won't be disappointed and if you have the pleasure of Nadia as your waitress you will have a truly wonderful evening.
Unfortunately, it’s my second time and each time I think it couldn’t get any worse. The service is always bad, you’re ignored and they seem to treat men better ?why I don’t know.. the food is ok but not great, we tried different things and ordered a lot, had to rush home for the toilet cuz it gave me a tummy ache.. again, this is the second time. Also, after ordering all that food, we wanted to take some takeaway but they said they don’t do that but could put all the dishes into one pizza box… hmmmmm excuse me? Anyways.. if you’re a family or get irritated by rude staff, don’t go. And if you have a sensitive stomach, don’t go :)
Had a great experience at the restaurant for brunch menu. The food variety was amazing. The bakery selection was good but great quality. They had a cold salad bar with cold meats which was also great. Especially enjoyed the cold salmon. Ordered egg benedict what came with ham. My preference is salmon which was a shame. The roast was also amazing had chicken which was finely cut strips, salmon (felt this was slightly over cooked so it was dry), roast potatoes and veg. The desert selection was really good with fruits, choc cakes, cookies, muffins also Nutella choc sauce, fresh cream and other sauces.

We had the BEST time in Misto! We saw it on google reviews and thought we'd try it, and it was brilliant. Atmosphere lovely, food was AMAZING. If I lived locally I'd never be out of there. Thank you so much x
We had a lovely visit to Popolo for my birthday last week! We were initially a little concerned when looking at the menu as it is heavy on the seafood but when you have chefs cooking at this standard, I don’t think it matters what you order- it’s all going to be beautiful- and it was! The gnudi is a must and the flourless chocolate cake will blow your mind! Reading other reviews I expected the dishes to be smaller so we ordered similar to a tapas style and we over ordered by way too much but it was nice to taste all of the plates! Definitely recommend this place!
Really lovely restaurant in Shepherd market, never been to this area, very cute, like a hidden place in Green Park. The restaurant is cozy and feels like in Europe. Food is great, we ordered olives and soup for starters. A big bowl with big olives; 2 main courses - specials seabass with mixed vegetables and Tagliatelle mushroom with truffles, all delicious; and tiramisu for dessert which is quite a big portion and tasty too. We also had two drinks, total bill is £40/pp. My friend and I both felt very full and satisfied. Highly recommended and high value. Will definitely visit again.
Came for a date on a Tuesday and honestly felt like I wasn’t in east london at all, let alone London! The food was so delicious, the drinks were on point, and to the service was crazy good, I left feeling like I was apart of an Italian family that I never knew I needed! I’m coming back for sure as I don’t want to miss the tea.

Mes filles n’ont pas non plus été convaincues par leur ravioles au canard : bon, mais sans plus.
Attention : je ne dis pas que la cuisine est mauvaise ! Juste qu’elle n’a pas été à la hauteur de ce qu’elle promet 😕

We went for the bottomless brunch and it was absolutely delicious! I was skeptical with the quality but it was one of the best roasts! The dessert, fruit and cold selection were also very tasty. Staff were professional and friendly. Atmosphere was great for a nice brunch and catch up. The Bloody Mary I had was also one of the best I’ve had! The only and quite a big issue was the price! Quite pricy but if you can eat eat eat then great place to go for the bottomless brunch.
Running along side the fabulous a la carte menu, you have a Regional Menu. The 4 Course Regional Menus are brilliant, from Lombardy in the North to Calabria in the South, you get an insight into the food heritage. The menus also include a glass of wine with each of the first three courses, especially chosen to complement the menu. They really a gastronomic journey around Italy, a massive thumbs up from me.

We were a party of five people and I think we got the best table, right in front of the kitchen which enabled us to see how smooth it was running. We started with the cocktails at the bar, and these were the best Negronis I have ever had. The dining experience was sublime and the wine from Tuscany was delicious. The desserts were so yummy, that we have to try a bit form every one at the table. Nadia was looking after us and she was very chatty but professional at the same time. She presented us with a round of refreshing drinks on the house at the end of the dinner, which was a nice surprise. I think Il Borro is now on the top of my favourite restaurants in London. It is quite pricey but well worth it!

I’d like to check out every Harry’s worldwide, as they are all great! The reservation was a bit “rocky,” as it was lost but ultimately found. The menu is excellent, the atmosphere at James Street in Central London was full of energy and and the noise level was a buzz with happy diners. The food is excellent and do try truffle pasta, and the famous mushroom dessert. Service was on the slow side but to be expected with popularity of this solid restaurant.
I am very disappointed with this place. The portions are very small, especially when it comes to lamb ravioli, as they charge £18 for 4 pieces of ravioli with pumpkin sauce (one small square of ravioli is £4.50!! Prices are higher than in Rome in the Michelin starred restaurant we visited in February this year). The service was very slow, we had to wait almost an hour for these 4 pieces of ravioli and at least 45 minutes for the starter and it was also not very tasty and dry. A waitress could cover her belly with a longer blouse because she works in a restaurant and not everyone wants to see her belly while eating a meal. We certainly won't go back there because of the service and prices. I do not recommend.
I had the secret dish of Carbonara and it was the best Carbonara I’ve ever had! It was super buttery and rich with the best cooked pork that was so salty and complimented the sweetness of the sauce perfectly! 100/100 would recommend! Was debating on order another plate! Our waitress Chiara was an absolute gem and an Angel! Thank you to her for making our experience so lovely and suggesting the secret menu to us!
I recently dined at Theo Randall at the InterContinental, an Italian restaurant, and I must say that the experience was nothing short of amazing. The quality of the food was exceptional; each dish was bursting with flavor and authenticity. From the perfectly cooked pasta to the delicious desserts, every bite was a delight for the taste buds.
I also want to give a special shout-out to Peter, our server, whose attentive and friendly service truly enhanced our dining experience. He was knowledgeable about the menu, provided excellent recommendations, and made sure that we were well taken care of throughout the meal.
Furthermore, I was impressed by the restaurant manager's warm and welcoming demeanor. She took the time to ensure that all guests felt comfortable and satisfied, adding a personal touch to the overall dining atmosphere.

Went on a Friday night! The place is beautiful.. great environment.. we had 5 dishes (they are really small) and a glass of wine and a beer. By the way the wine glass costs 10 pounds and you get less than the average measure.. We paid 134 pounds but we were not even close to full! We found it very overpriced for simple dishes like broccoli cheese and egg..the octopus dish was quite mediocre.. the rest were tasty.
As many have said on here this is a great restaurant with good food, beautiful decor both inside and outside and situated in a lovely area of Marylebone. What does let it down is the service.
Our waiter was lovely and friendly but it’s clear the staff are either undertrained or overwhelmed (or both?) and often service either takes too long or is just not as attentive as you’d expect for a higher end restaurant. Hoping the management can do something about this as it’s fixable and will give the place the 5/5 stars it deserves.

I went yesterday to the restaurant recommended by a friend, and I had the best experience ever and a delightful service from the Bartender, Jhon and Waiter, Darios. They were very attentive and friendly. Whereby, I felt comfortable and relaxed after a long day.
I recommend this place for cocktails and food.

I really enjoyed all the pasta dishes at this restaurant, and the location and atmosphere were great too. However, the service was a bit slow, but I think it might be due to their system in place.
I came here for my birthday and enjoyed a wonderful meal. Stunning food and really welcoming and lovely staff. My boyfriend's pasta was a little disappointing but they went above and beyond to rectify this issue so we really can't complain! My Ossobuco was faultless. They also gave us a complimentary dessert for my birthday. We wouldn't hesitate to return. Thank you to everyone at Margot at dinner time on 03/02/2024 for such a lovely time and for being so accommodating.

Food is amazing, try the pizza (any pizza will make your day) main course, pastas and risotto,,, top! If you are not sure, ask Costa,,, you will definitely get the right choice,,, thank you Costa and the rest of the crew for the hospitality!

Really delicious Italian, open early enough for a light meal before the opera. The lobster ravioli with saffron sauce is a revelation. Great wines as well, just ask for a recommendation. Eaten here multiple times… the food is consistently good, although the restaurant is consistently loud for my tastes unless you’re there early. A great choice in Covent Garden.
Fabulous little spot for a date night or special dinner. Handmade pastas with a changing, seasonal menu, and a selection of dry locally-sourced wines. Quality of the food is excellent here and the bar-style set-up makes for a really lovely experience. We shared six small dishes between two of us and it was just the right amount. The crispy olives with labneh, and the gnudi pasta…. Wow!

Went here yesterday with my sister. The waiter was lovely and accommodating which was positive. The food however was tasteless and extremely underwhelming. No salt or pepper, my goodness! We went to another restaurant immediately to eat. The ambience and decor was lovely. Wouldn’t recommend unfortunately.
The food quality and taste is good overall. The sole fish is definitely one of the best that i have ever tried. The seafood pasta is so delicious but spicy and the waitress did not tell us.
What I did not like is the service. A young waitress was literally throwing the silver ware on the table. They need to be attentive as we have to wait too long for someone to attend to our need.

It has been three years since we last time visit Margot. It was back in 2020 just after the first covid wave and we liked the food a lot. We decide to celebrate new year here again and are glad to be back here. The quality of the food remains the high level. The service is excellent and they are super nice to the baby. The pasta is just delicious and the side vegies are so good. The seafood risotto is slightly salty though. The beef cappacio is good as last time except they removed truffle. The veal slice appetiser is really tender and the sauce is amazing. It is definitely my top Italian restaurant in London.

The food is really nice- gorgeous starters which I highly recommend and the spaghetti lobster with a touch of chilli oil-was sooo delicious. Gluten free spaghetti, bread sticks & bread were the bonus of the evening and very much appreciated. It was my first visit to Margot and absolutely loved it. Service was exceptional, they couldn’t have done any more. Food was very good, my friend’s ravioli was slightly undercooked but full of flavours nonetheless, and my halibut was delicious. Desserts were amazing. We will definitely come back soon.

A solid 4 stars for Margot. Celebrated our anniversary here and we had a great spot at the restaurant. We were tempted by more food looking at menu but our brilliant waitress advised us that we had ordered enough….and it was just perfect. Food overall was great and I recommend the pistachio dessert. Genuinely sublime. Star knocked off for not having soap in the toilet replenished.

Très bon restaurant italien à deux pas du « seven dials ». L’accueil est chaleureux et les plats sont frais et avec beaucoup de goût… un régal! Le service est top! Je recommande cette table qui vaut le détour 😋

5€ les 4 olives, 5€ l’eau, 5€ de frais, obligation de prendre deux plats et de manger rapidement pour laisser de la place aux prochains clients… Ce restaurant gratte le moindre € de façon très désagréable entre les frais inutiles, l’eau payante alors qu’on demande une carafe d’eau… Les pâtes étaient tellement piquantes que je n’ai pas pu finir mon plat, rien ne va.. pire restaurant que nous avons testé honnêtement du jamais vu
Durch Zufall entdeckt. Kleines, italienisches Restaurant mit Außenterrasse und gemütlichen Ambiente im Innenraum. Die Speisekarte ist klein und authentisch. Sehr freundliche Bedienung und super leckeres Essen. Im Obergeschoss befinden sich weitere Sitzmöglichkeiten und die WC-Anlagen. Die WC-Anlagen sind ausgesprochen sauber! Service Charge ist in der Rechnung schon inklusive.
Absolut empfehlenswerter Italiener. Winziges Lokal, die meisten Gäste nehmen an der Theke Platz und schauen den Köchen beim kochen zu. Speisekarte besteht aus kleineren Gerichten zum Teilen. Wir haben die Karte einmal runter und wieder hoch bestellt. Alles absolut spitze, Garnelen, Pasta, Jakobsmuscheln, Brokkoli vom Grill uvm. Unbedingt reservieren da maximal 20 Plätze zur Verfügung stehen. Wir waren Montagabend und das Restaurant war voll.

I hesitate to share, only because it is probably a well kept secret! Stumbled upon Da Corradi while staying close by and wow! It is GOOD! Little hole in the wall joint down an ally filled with fun restaurants and pubs - really something for everyone. But the home made pasta and Italian hospitality won me over. We are here twice the week we stayed. First I tried the seafood pasta (YUM) and then the Carbonara (which I had several recommendations for after our first visit) so obviously had to go and try. It did NOT disappoint. If you are looking for a cozy corner with food to warm your soul, check out Da Corradi!
Ce restaurant est une pépite Italienne près de Covent Garden. Les plats de pâtes et risottos sont absolument savoureux et très copieux. Et le tiramisu est délicieux. Le patron très accueillant perpétue la tradition italienne dans son restaurant. A ne pas manquer si vous aimez manger Italien !

They delivered 2 small pizza pretending they have a 2 for 1 offer, and barely have given me one full size pizza and charged me £12.45. Such a scam. Awful ... give my money back, this is th3ft in day light!!!!!!! Misrepresentation of marketing! And please don't say "contact us to solve this". Make the effort and contact me!!!! The ticket number is 018 from willesden green branch ordered tonight!

I've ordered from here twice and both times some of the pizza toppings were missing (including ones that had an additional charge), the food was cold and once the starter with the dips was missing. I can't even say the food was good- it was 'okay'. Mistakes happen but there was no apology or replacement/refund of the items that hadn't arrived. Judging by the other comments, it's clear they haven't done anything to improve their service or quality of food over the years. I won't ever be going back as there are MUCH better options around.
