My and my family where on holiday together with some friends and got to visit this great restaurant the Staff and owner are Very Kindly and the Food is absolutely Delicious ! I can’t say nothing more this is Just a great Restaurant !
De perfecte optie als je niet naar de McDonalds wil, maar echt uit eten ook wat té is. Eten was veel beter op smaak en minder vet en waterig dan van te voren verwacht (zoals bij Vegitallian het geval is). Goeie spontane optie en prima sfeer.
Prima eten, super leuke service alleen de tiramisu is een afrader. Dit kan je geen tiramisu noemen, maar de pasta was 👍👍

Als ze dit in een random hotel hadden geserveerd zou dit er ook prima in passen.

We had the bruschetta, the tagliatelle al ragù and the sedani al salmone. For dessert we had the pannacotta. All were delicious!! The staff was very friendly. 10/10 would recommend!
Most importantly of all, the food was amazing. Our waiter was lovely and very helpful. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very gezellig too. Will definitely be going again.
I was excited to try this place as it is very highly reviewed and seems to always be booked up. Unfortunately, I wasn't a huge fan of the cacio e pepe I ordered. It may have just been my own misunderstanding of the dish, but it was very, very salty. I've had cacio e pepe before in other places, and it's usually not quite so salty.

Afgelopen weekend verbaasde mij een beetje. Terwijl we aan het eten waren werden de stoelen om ons heen op de tafels gezet. Ging de muziek uit en werd er even later gestofzuigd. Ook werd er schoon gemaakt terwijl het personeel muziek oortjes in had. Dit was rond 20:45 terwijl ze pas sloten om 21:30. Het eten was lekker, maar had het maar mee naar huis genomen. Mijn vriend en ik voelde ons erg opgejaagd.
Bediening was super en vriendelijk. Eten is uitstekend. Echt Italiaans en de spaghetti met vers sardines is super lekker! We hebben keuze menu gehad. Portie is goed. Echt aanrader en zeker kom ik weer terug.
Ordered Pasta tartuffo = got very tiny amount of pasta with almost no mushroom at all in it.

We hebben hier echt heerlijk gegeten. We hebben het restaurant eigenlijk blind gekozen, om te kijken of we verrast konden worden, dat is gelukt!
Natuurlijk is het ene gerecht lekkerder als het andere, kalfshaas was bijvoorbeeld prima gedaan, maar had wat beter gekund (net even een tikkeltje langer laten bakken en rusten. Maar, prima te doen. De verzameling voorgerechten was echt heerlijk en echt die lekkere smaken dit je bij dit restaurant zoekt.
Voor ons was de Spaghetti parmigiano met truffel duidelijk het hoogtepunt, echt perfect op smaak, Wauw!
De bediening was vlot en vriendelijk, kortom: zeker voor herhaling vatbaar!

The best place in Groningen, period. I come here already for more than 20 years and this place is better than ever. Best Italian food outside Italy I ever had. Attention to detail, all perfect. Great wines. Lively, chatty atmosphere.

The restaurant is easily accessible, located right in the city centre, in a beautiful Art Nouveau tenement. The decor is rather unique, giving Italian grandma's storage, but together with the music and the enthusiastic service it creates a fun, homely atmosphere. We were also sitting right by the entrance so perhaps it's more quiet at other tables.
The food was great, we ordered pasta Al Salmone (Mr Charming's favourite) and Carbonara Originale. The pasta was creamy and flavourful, although I'd say mine could use some lemon to pair well with the fish. My dad is a carbonara connoisseur, he tries it everywhere we go and he really liked this one. They also let you choose the pasta shape! (they don't have alla chitarra in case you were wondering). The prices are also really affordable compared to other Italian restaurants. Overall, a great choice.

Exceptional experience I recommend this restaurant! The dishes are delicious, prepared according to the original recipe, the pasta is al dente and tasty. Also the starters and desserts are all homemade and delicious. The staff is competent, kind and welcoming. Super recommended, we will be back!

Mooi ingerichte tent, echte Italiaanse manager en vooral erg goed eten. En dat allemaal voor een erg scherpe prijs!

Meh. Starter and dessert were good but pizza and risotto were too salty. Probably because we dined on a public holiday and the good chefs aren’t there?

We had a very nice dinner at Boccaccio, the food and wine were great, and it was not expensive at all! We had a menu with 4 courses and a bottle of wine and we spent ~55 per person. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed this one! :) Also, I got very authentic vibes from the atmosphere and the food. The only small thing I should mention is that the main (veal tenderloin) cooled down a bit too fast, which maybe can be solved by serving it on pre-heated plates? But other than that, 10/10 :)
I wish i did not have to be writing this because the waiters were incredibly kind, but the burrata pizza was simply DISGUSTING. I am not a picky eater and this is the FIRST TIME EVER I leave food at a restaurant (3/4 pizza wasted). The 1/4 i ate was painful to eat, flavorless and SOAKED with oil. The oil even went through the pizza, leaving the rucola so drenched that it became dark green with boiled spinach texture. Litteraly 5 flavorless cherry tomatoes cut in half on top. Despite this being a pizza, all I tasted was the oil. My stomach is also very upset now - even though I only had one slice… I feel like I will not eat any pizza/olive oil for a long while now… Same for burrata - one of my favorite things on earth is going to be impossible for me to eat for a loooong time…
P.S.: Again, nothing personal against the waiters, they were extremely welcoming and did everything for us to have a good evening.

Wonderful place, good food at affordable prices and very cosy atmosphere where the owners interact with you and make you feel very at home

Met een groep gegeten en vonden het allemaal lekker. De aankleding is gezellig en het is zeer betaalbaar dus echt een aanrader. Reserveren kan niet dus kom op tijd en anders moet je even wachten tot er een tafel vrij is.
Het duurde allemaal heel erg lang. Eten was matig. Bediening was aardig, daar niet van. Bij thuiskomst klopte de rekening ook niet, 20e te veel.
Jaren niet meer geweest maar het is nog altijd een heel goed restaurant met de authentieke Antonio in zijn onvolprezen rol als chef-kok. Verbazingwekkend dat dit restaurant zo weinig mensen trekt want het is echt top!!!!
Two years ago while a visit in Groningen I ate there and I said to my husband thats the best pizza in the Netherlands! After two years we came to visit this city again and went to eat here again. And I wasnt dissapointed! Still so good, a lot of ingredients!

We ate here on King’s Night 2023, and the service and food were spectacular. Our two waiters were fast and knowledgeable, and the food was so good that our son ordered seconds (and he is a picky eater who prefers home cooked food by his mom—who is a chef). We’ll be returning for sure!
Came here a few days ago as a group of 8, while the staff were friendly the wait time was atrocious. After everyone had arrived it took around 15 minutes to get menus and put a drinks order in, drinks arrived in a timely manner but we still waited for another 40 minutes to place our food order. Just one course, now while i understand larger tables will generally have a longer wait time I think the 2 hours we had to wait was a bit much, particularly when the staff did not come to check our table for those two hours and when one of our party got up to ask where our food was the staff said that they though we had already eaten. While the price of the food is reasonable it certainly was not worth the wait. Will not be dining here again
authentic Italian experience in the Netherlands! I could finally have a great pizza con salsiccia e patate, which I couldn’t find anywhere in the country. The tiramisu was also delicious. Super nice service, I felt like home!

Mooie zaak in Groningen. Degelijk meubilair. Hele grote porties. De chef brengt het eten zelf aan tafel en werkt het daar nog een beetje persoonlijk af. Spijtig dat er weinig eigen keuze is van de kaart. Je hebt de keuze uit pasta met vis of vlees. Vis kan je kiezen als je a la carte eet maar als je een menu neemt dan is het de keuze van de chef. Ik had graag spaghetti vongole gegeten maar dat was er niet want daar was geen vraag achter vertelde ze. Misschien als ze het effectief wel op de kaart zouden zetten zou er wel achter gevraagd worden. Maar dat is hun keuze en dat moeten we dan maar accepteren. Wij waren maar toeristen die enkele dagen in Groningen waren. Maar we hebben tenslotte toch lekker gegeten. Vooral de carpaccio is aan te raden.
Sehr lecker zubereitet: Kabeljau mit Nudeln und Gemüse 🌶 Ich hatte dazu einen Köstlichen Rotwein 🍷 Service war gut 👍 das Lokal war sehr gut besucht an dem Abend !

While the food, by its complete self, was perfectly fine, the quality of service severly undermined the experience. The only time a waiter approched us was when we wanted to switch tables to a one not blocked by an umbrella, they wouldn't take our empty glasses away, no salt or pepper on the table, and the waiter barely even spoke anything audibly. On top of that, the dishes were all served seperatly, so that we all ate at a different time. My dish in particular was even forgotten about by the staff, so by the time I finally received, my parents were done for around 20 minutes already. Instead of serving us Lambrusco, we received some cheap, red wine. Also, the Aperol Spritz reeked of old cucumbers for some reason. You can definitely do better in this town
Awesome pizza, delicious lasagna... We ordered a salami/ham pizza and a traditional lasagna. Super tasty. Cozy and warm place. Everything was special. And also affordable. We paid about 24 euros.
Ik wou dat ik het 0 sterren kon geven. Ongelooflijk onbeleefd, ik was geschokt. De chef-kok zelf kwam, nadat we waren gaan zitten, op zo'n onbeschofte manier naar ons toe en vertelde ons dat we te laat waren om bediend te worden (we belden om die tijd te reserveren, en het was oké). Hij vertelde ons eigenlijk dat we weg konden lopen. Hij maakte een scène in zijn eigen restaurant waardoor het leek alsof we het bij het verkeerde eind hadden. Dit is mij nog nooit overkomen.
Great pizza place in Groningen. Make sure you get a reservation as it was quite busy, even on a tuesday. The app to order works well although you can still order with the waitress. The pizza was great and the karaf wine is a good choice. The staff was quite busy and forgot to give us cutlery which was a little disappointing but she said sorry and was very friendly as a whole.
Helaas moet ik mijn review negatief aanpassen. Ik kom al jaren bij de Pastafabriek en was altijd tevreden. Gisteravond wilden we een openlucht concert op de Grote Markt bezoeken en vooraf nog even eten bij de Pastafabriek. Helaas duurde het een uur en een kwartier voordat we het eten geserveerd kregen. Hierdoor hebben we alleen nog maar de laatste 5 minuten van het concert meegekregen. Een dikke tegenvaller. Maar wat mij nog het meest stoorde was de communicatie. Ik heb meerdere malen geïnformeerd of het wel goedkwam met de bestelling. En steeds werd lachend mijn zorgen weggewuifd. Het zou goedkomen. Waarom niet even het eerlijke verhaal vertellen dat er problemen zijn met de logistiek en dat het lang gaat duren voordat het eten geserveerd gaat worden? Of een stokbroodje of drankje van het huis aanbieden om de tijd te doden? Bij het verlaten van de zaak is in een gesprekje toegegeven dat men de logistiek niet op orde had. Ik begrijp dat je als ondernemer ook wel eens je dag niet kunt hebben en door het niet goed functioneren van je personeel in de problemen kunt komen. Maar toch houd ik aan dit laatste bezoek een kater over en dat weerhoudt mij ervan om weer terug te komen.
In Google Maps stand, dass das hier ein italienisches Restaurant ist. Davon war aber leider nichts zu sehen.

Authentic Italian food with fresh ingredients. Both the pizza and the pasta we ordered were very tasty. Will visit again!
Vorspeise und Pasta waren gut, aber der Hauptgang "Fleischplanke" war für 25€ unglaublich schlecht. Nur ein Stück Rind, ein unglaublich nach Hammel schmeckendes Stück Lamm und Bauchspeck. Selten so schlecht gegessen.
4 h insgesamt gewartet und immer kam das falsche Fleisch wie Ledersohle Service hat Bestellung komplett vergessen und auch im Laufe des Menüs müssten wir immer korrigieren. Nachspeise und Gemüse waren ok d.h. zwei Sterne
