Al fresco sitting with the grand canal in view is lovely. The range of cichetti is so good. We ended up almost ordering one of each. We had 12 different ones. Totally enjoyed them as each of them is well balanced and flavoured. Service staff is great too, warm and prompt.

We are a family of 5 who came for dinner at the peak hour. Service was subpar. I asked for a table for 5 and the wait staff said no reservation so have to wait and he walked away! Finally got a table indoor. The waitress was lovely but the food wasn’t good…

We booked a table at Birraria La Corte for our first evening in Venice, our friends recommended the pizza after they dined here a few months ago - and they were recommended by a local :)

The pizza is really good, the base was thin and light. My partner had the eliche pink shrimp carbonara, it is a strong flavour so maybe not to everyone's taste but we enjoyed it. For dessert, we had the pannacotta and tiramisu, both were delicious! The restaurant has indoor, outdoor and courtyard seating, we found the online booking process really simple on their website.

The service did let the experience down a little as staff were not the most inattentive or welcoming at first, but that seems the norm for busy tourist destinations... Overall we would recommend a visit here for the food.

Ok, es ist gleich neben der Rialto-Brücke am Canale Grande... dennoch sollte man nicht versuchen bei durchschnittlicher Qualität größtmöglichen Profit herauszuholen, da man davon aus geht, dass die meisten Gäste wohl eh nie wieder kommen.

Hammer Essen zu fairen Preisen. Schmeckt hervorragend und der Chef ist ein super Typ. Wir empfehlen es auf jeden Fall weiter!

Food was great . Service was great. We had my almost 2 yr old grand daughter with us and she was fully accomodated. Ambience was great. All in all, we had a great time! I highly recommend this restaurant.

Comida caseira, localizaçao muito boa para viajantes . E um vinho muito bom. Os pratos não são muito grandes, e o valor um pouco alto pela qualidade.
Cobram uma taxa de serviço de 2 euros por pessoa , mas só descobrimos no pagamento, já que não tem em nenhum lugar essa informação. Além disso , na hora de pagar, tivemos que pagar com dinheiro, não aceitava dividir a conta e pagar em mais de um cartão.

**Review: Disappointing Introduction to Venetian Cooking**

Today was my first foray into Venetian cuisine, and I regret to say the overall experience, for a total of 295 euros for five people, was quite disappointing.

Upon arrival, the staff warmly greeted us and seated us outside, providing a pleasant atmosphere. We started with a glass of wine, and our waitress, who may have been the owner, was initially helpful. However, there was a palpable sense of our American identity, which may have influenced her suggestions. She strongly recommended the fried vegetables and two Caprese salads, which indeed were delicious.

The confusion began when we ordered our main courses. Upon ordering four green salads alongside our entrees, she emphasized the lasagna, claiming it to be a cherished family recipe. Trusting her recommendation, we decided to give it a try.

When the food arrived, the four salads were enormous, one was enough to share among the entire group, but they lacked any real flavor. The lasagna, touted as the highlight, arrived cold and excessively rich. Disappointed, we sent the lasagna back, only to receive replacements within thirty seconds. This rapid turnaround was an unmistakable sign that the lasagna had been microwaved, confirming our suspicions and adding to our dissatisfaction.

The overall experience left much to be desired. Despite the friendly service and pleasant ambiance, the quality of the food did not justify the steep price. Unfortunately, my introduction to Venetian cooking was marred by this unsatisfactory dining experience. I hope they take this feedback to heart and improve for future patrons.

A friend recommended the meatballs at Ca Doro alla Vedova, and I have to say, they were incredibly tasty and delicious. However, I must point out that the service I received from the staff was quite disappointing and unkind. It’s a shame that such excellent food was paired with such poor service, as it detracted from the overall experience. I hope the restaurant can improve in this area.

Good friends recommended this restaurant and I was very pleased tk have gone. On a quiet street, with kind staff, and tasty Venetian dishes. Definitely full and required reservations but a little out of the main tourist drag of Venice and with a neighborhood feel. Worth the wait or walk or whatever. (No black olives on the menu the day we went however!)

Das essen war großartig und geschmackvoll serviert.
Die Lage ist ausgesprochen gut und bietet einen traumhaften Ausblick auf den Kanal.

Cozy and comfortable "old-style" tavern. Quality of food is definitely superior, not a "tourist trap". Venetians use to meet here and have a drink (Spritz or, even better, the wonderful "Vespertino").

Nice place with friendly staff. The pasta was great and really liked their grilled vegetables. The only thing we didn't enjoy was the tiramisu, as it was the style inside a cup with mainly cream.

we waren later op de avond, werden erg vriendelijk onthaalt, goed bedient. het eten kwam erg snel na bestellen. fijne sfeer, ondanks zo dicht bij de rialto, was dit restaurant prettig druk, in plaats van te druk.

We had a great dinner here! My wife and I both had pizzas, both were delicious. Molten chocolate cake and creme brulee were also excellent. I have nothing but good things to say. We'll definitely come again to try other dishes. Consider making a reservation to be sure you can get a table. Eat here!

동네 맛집같네요! 가격도 저렴하고 맛도 다 괜찮습니다~ 라자냐 티라미수는 맛이 좋네요!! 삼삼한 맛이 오히려 매력적입니다!!

A local, traditional venetian cuisine with tasteful foods and pretty kind, full of energy, family business. The mayonnaise there with horseradish was my personal highlight.

Il baccalà mantecato, le polpette di carne e le sarde in saor sono solo alcuni dei cicchetti che ho assaggiato e che mi hanno conquistato.

Food is good. Service is quick, staff is polite. Atmosphere is ok. Maybe slightly on the expensive side.

친구네 엄마가 정성을 담아 만들어준 느낌의 홈메이드 라자냐와 티라미수! 와인은 아침에 가볍게 즐기시려면 프레스코 화이트 와인 추천드려요. 특히 티라미수가 맛있습니다👍

Ein sehr nettes gemütliches Restaurant. Sehr leckeres Essen mit großen Portionen. Das Essen wurde schnell zubereitet. Das hausgemachte Tiramisu schmeckt fantastisch, kann ich nur jeden wärmstens empfehlen. Die Preise sind sehr fair. Die Bedienung kann super English. Und die Köchin sogar vereinzelt Deutsche Wörter. ☺️ Wir kommen wieder!

We had find the restaurant online and it took us a bit to find it. It is tucked in from one of the main streets but a good find. We did not have reservations and they had availability for us to dine in.

The food was good and we got the meatballs, fried seafood and tiramisu.

The menu is pretty limited and they only serve wine.

De portier aan de deur was super vriendelijk! En eten en service was goed.

Eten was niet vers en helemaal geen smaak. Nooit zo’n slechte risotto gegeten. Vis was niet vers,…Service is beneden alle niveau. Af te raden!

Het eten was echt dramatisch! Ook nog eens duur maar dat weet je bij een hotspot in Venetie. De ober vroeg ook nog eens om fooi! Tip loop deze tent voorbij!

Wow! We had the best experience. I had booked the table overlooking the canal for my partners birthday, i booked quite far in advance. We were greeted with a glass of Prosecco and then We had a shared starter of the mussels and clams, the sauce was delicious! I had the salmon ravioli and my partner had the steak, but like we always do we shared a bit of both and finally finished with the cheesecake. Would highly recommend when in Venice!

Tolle Plätzchen für eine kurze Pause.
Im Canal ist immer was los.
Ansonsten ist eine eher ruhige Ecke damit man sein Cappuccino oder Aperitif genießen kann.

We aten pizza en pasta met gehaktballetjes. De pizza’s waren wel ok, maar de pasta smaakte een beetje zuur (kind lustte het dus niet) en de gehaktballetjes waren niet goed, niet doorbakken geen lekkere textuur en weinig kruidig. Helaas. De grootste tegenvaller was de enorm hoge prijs voor frisdrank (5,50), broodjes (6 euro) een extra tax van 12 euro en een eis van de ober om 10% fooi te geven. Ineens was de sfeer dus minder prettig aan tafel, best intimiderend. Daarom willen we mensen graag attenderen op deze zaken voor de aan tafel gaan.

Het was zeer lekker.

Hier ist einer meiner Lieblingsplätze: ganz vorne rechts. Wissend, dass die Touristenströme sich geradeaus von der Rialtobrücke wälzen und nur wenige den kleinen Schlenker nach rechts wagen. Ein Spritz und 3 Cicchetti und schon ist die Welt in Ordnung…

Leuke plek, mooie binnenplaats, enthousiaste bediening en heerlijk eten. Wel even reserveren.

Als het kon had ik 0 sterren gegeven.
De service was echt verschrikkelijk. Heb nog nooit z’n slechte service gehad.Het eten smaakte nergens naar. Veeeeeeeelste duur voor wat je krijgt.
Ik zou hier nooit meer naartoe gaan. Hoop dat ik doormiddel van deze recensie kan voorkomen dat nog meer mensen spijt krijgen van geld uitgeven aan dit restaurant.

Druk bezocht restaurant waar niet alleen toeristen komen. Lekker eten op een pleintje aan de waterkant. Personeel is vriendelijk en het eten was lekker, eendenborst en tagliata en ze hebben een mooie en uitgebreide wijnkaart.

Tolle kleine Häppchen aber auch leckere Hauptspeisen. Eigentlich für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Sprudel würde ich hier eher nicht empfehlen... Der schmeckt nämlich überhaupt nicht. Ich würde aber eher für die Kleinen Mahlzeiten hier her kommen, da diese besonders gut aussehen und auch besonders gut schmecken...

Perfecte plek voor aperitief op het schaduwrijke​de terras in de namiddag. Attente bediening. Uitstekende bierkeuze.

Heel leuke plaats voor een aperitief in de late namiddag. Mensen flaneren voorbij en aan de stoet van boten en gondels komt geen einde. We dronken er alleen iets. De bediening is onpersoonlijk maar correct. Nette toiletten. Espresso, 1/2 water en spumante : 12 euro
