Für mich war es ein sehr schöner Abend mit Freunden in dem Lokal. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam ohne daß er aufdringlich wirkt. Man wurde schnell bedient. Ein großes Lob geht auch an die Küche. Das Essen war hervorragend und das Steak war genau auf den Punkt gebraten, wie ich es bestellt habe.

The food is great, unmatched in its category in all aspects. I would recommend Mandi Dajaj for a fulfilling experience. The atmosphere is also great, the place is clean and well kept.
The service is also good in general but can improve a little by increasing the service staff, the waiters and attendants were overworked. We booked for 5 people but they said that we booked for only 2. I had to show them the confirmation email to make them believe me and eventually we got seated, so it didn't turn into a disaster.

We’ve tried the hummus and falafel multiple times here and the place is amazing. The falafel are freshly prepared and very crispy and tasty. The hummus is very good as well. The pita is also soft and fluffy. The staff is very welcoming and gave us some great recommendations to try out.

Wir haben dort eine Familienfeier mit 20 Leuten veranstaltet und wir hatten mit den besten Service jemals erleben dürfen: Herzlich, witzig, schnell.
Das Essen war ebenfalls fantastisch; von der Antipasti, über das Hauptgericht bis zur Dessertplatte einfach großartig.

Super tolle Ambiente, das Essen schmeckt sehrrrrr köstlich😍 Das Publikum und die Musik ist sehr amüsant und freundlich. Die Mitarbeiter sind super lieb und sind schnell für alle Wünsche da . Sehr zu empfehlen!!!!!
Wir sind an dieser Bar vorbei gelaufen und am nächsten Tag haben wir spontan entscheiden eine Shisha zu rauchen. Was soll ich sagen, es war toll. Service hervorragend

It was hard to find such a good falafel in Berlin - The falafel was fresh, the hummus was delicious, but not less important, the pita was outrageously good!!!!

I've dined at this restaurant on multiple occasions, and I consistently appreciate the deliciousness of their dishes. The pricing is quite reasonable, especially when considering their enticing daily specials.

Choosing this place for our second date was truly an excellent decision. The comfortable space, cozy table setting created an impressive ambiance. Each dish with its refined and unique flavors made every bite outstanding and unforgettable. Enjoying the unique cocktails added a romantic atmosphere, making our date even more wonderful and solidifying this venue as my favorite spot in Berlin.

As a fine dining restaurant, its prices are quite reasonable compared to what you get, from food to service to the whole experience.

Wir haben hier gut gegessen und die Karte hat über Pizza und Pasta hinaus einiges zu bieten. Das Restaurant liegt aber definitiv im höherpreisigen Bereich. Dafür war die Gemüsebeilage zum Fisch und Fleisch meiner Meinung nach etwas dürftig. Auch wenn es zusätzlich noch einen kleinen Salat gab. Die Ausstattung innen wirkt rustikal, die Darstellungen von Italien etwas kitschig, aber es ist ganz gemütlich. Obwohl das Restaurant voll war, saß man nicht gedrängt mit den anderen Gästen. Der Service war anfangs sehr schnell, auch was den Hauptgang anging. Wir hatten den Aperitif noch nicht beendet und fühlten uns leicht gehetzt. Der Service wurde dann nach dem Dessert sehr langsam und es dauerte einige Zeit, bis wir einen Kellner auf uns aufmerksam machen konnten, dass wir gerne zahlen wollen. Der Service war aber durchweg freundlich.
Das Essen war sehr lecker ,die Steaks waren auf den Punkt perfekt gebraten ,das Ambiente war toll und der Service war sehr nett ,wir kommen gerne wieder !

Fresh bread is baked at front of us. The built-in Google reservation worked super easy for us and was very fast. The only problem that I found was the delay in the service, we have waited for about 35 Minutes before we the food came.

Vom ersten Sehen des Restaurants von außen, bis zum Betreten, Platznehmen, Begrüßung durch die Mitarbeiter, dem Ambiente, der Ausstattung, den Dekorationen, dem Essen und Trinken, der durchgehenden Freundlichkeit und der Verabschiedung:
Alles war einwandfrei und sehr sympathisch.
Nicht nur uns betreffend (wir waren 17 Leute), sondern alle anwesenden Gäste.
Dieses Restaurant ist sehr empfehlenswert.
Schade, dass ich euch erst neulich das erste Mal besucht habe.
Aber schön, dass ich es sofort öfter bei euch genießen werde.

We were very hungry when we reached Berlin late night. Casalot is located near our lodging place and we didn't expect anything special then. However when we tasted our rice meal with chicken, we were pleasantly surprised by the rich tastes. We are from Malaysia, and we thought we were already exposed to most type of ArabIan meals that we found abundant in our country. How wrong we were. The food in Casalot is fresh, pure in taste, and very delicious. We highly recommend to those who enjoy Middle Eastern dishes.

Timing for the main course was acceptable. However, they struggled with our beverages, not to mention with our desserts. After waiting over 20 minutes for our desserts despite several follow ups, we had to ask them to-go since we had already spent over 2 hours at the meal and needed to be somewhere.

Ein sehr gutes Restaurant. Endlich mal etwas mehr als nur das typische Angebot von Pizza und Pasta. Das essen war wirklich sehr gut. Sehr freundliches Personal. Schöne saubere Toiletten. Nett ist auch die offene Küche. Wirklich einen Besuch Wert.

Ich war mit meinem Freund Abends hier und habe sehr lecker gegessen und getrunken. Der Service war Top. Essen und Getränke waren schnell da und wirklich lecker. Bei meinem nächsten Besuch in Berlin werde ich hier definitiv wieder hier einkehren. Lasst euch von dem schlichten Äußeren nicht täuschen. Ein Besuch lohnt sich. Hier gibs auch Frühstück vielleicht beim nächsten Mal :)
It's been years since the last time I have eaten here and we came with excitement but ended up with disappointment. Unfortunately all the food we had was dull. Either lack of spices or an overall Turkish kebab cuisine was missing. The service was great, friendly, all smiles, helpful and fast. Atmosphere was good with music, lights, overall vibe. But the food was unfortunately a downer. And of you add the prices to this experience, I know that there is at least one better option in Berlin which I won't name it. This place had a special place in our hearts and we will keep that but probably won't be coming back. Pity.

Wir hatten das Phoenicia zu eine Familienfeier (13 Personen) in Form eines Cateringevents angeheuert. Die Mannschaft kam pünktlich mit allem was man zur Bewirtung braucht, inkl , Tischdecken, Besteck, Teller und einem super lecker reichhaltigem Essen, so reichlich, dass es noch für diverse Kehrpakete reichte. Der nette Restaurantinhaber Kifa meinte es gut mit uns und gab uns noch eine Flasche Wein dazu. Sehr zu empfehlen

Eine Vorspeisenplatte für zwei Personen konnte gut zu dritt gegessen werden und hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Geschmorte Hühnerleber mit Zwiebeln war ein Genuss. Da zur Zeit unseres Besuchs, quasi zwischen Mittag und Abendessen, das Restaurant recht leer war, hat sich der Kellner sehr gut um uns bemüht und wir haben uns gut unterhalten
Preislich ist das Restaurant eher in der oberen Liga angesiedelt, was sicherlich auch etwas mit der unmittelbaren Ku'damm Nähe zu tun hat Ärgerlich war, dass obwohl ein Schild einer Kreditkartenfirma im Fenster platziert war, dennoch nur Bargeld akzeptiert wurde und dieses erst noch geholt werden musste. Insofern, wenn man Bargeld eingesteckt hat, einfach mal ausprobieren.

Somehow, I don’t know how we paid 50€ for two plates, one babaganoush, a tea and a water. I cannot say how was the service since there is none: you order at the bar and pick it up yourself. Kofte we’re fat and oily, I won’t go back.
Das gesamte Restaurant ist im italienischen Stil gehalten. Obwohl einige Kellner nicht sehr geduldig sind, sind andere Kellner und Köche Chef sehr begeistert, der Preis ist fair und der Geschmack ist gut. Es wird empfohlen, vor Ihrem Besuch eine Reservierung vorzunehmen.
Waren heute zum Samstag Abend dort. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Essen war sehr lecker und der große Laden hatte ein sehr angenehme Atmosphäre. Unsere Mädels die Geburtstag hatten, wurden sogar noch mit einem Ständchen und Obstteller samt Feuerwerk überrascht. Das war wirklich spitze, Danke dafür. Zwischendurch gab's noch ne Bauchtanzshow für das gesamte Restaurant.
Super Essen, ich bin kein Pizza Esser, aber die schmeckt hier soo super und liebevoll zubereitet. Wurden vom Chef bedient, kam immer wieder an unseren Tisch, fragte ob alles in Ordnung ist. Kann ich auf jedenfall weiterempfehlen.
Alles immer gut… zu dieser Jahreszeit kommt die Gänskeule sehr gut.

Original italienische Küche, eine exzellente Auswahl ausgefallener Gerichte auf der Tageskarte in tollem Ambiente. Pizzen und Pasta waren geschmacklich *sehr* gut, die Portionen durchweg sättigend und der Nachtisch lecker. Die Auswahl an italienischen Weinen ließ nichts zu wünschen übrig. Die Bedienung war immer freundlich, zuvorkommend und auf Zack. Eine kurzfristige Tischreservierung für 11 Personen (für den nächsten Abend) war problemlos möglich. Daumen hoch und danke für einen schönen Abend!

Heute wieder herzlich begrüßt und verabschiedet worden. Essen war sehr lecker und reichlich. Ich habe meinen Geburtstag in drei Wochen dort geplant und besprochen und bin froh, dass mir so viel "abgenommen" wird. Ich freue mich nun sehr auf die Feier.
Einziger Kritikpunkt ist für mich die Toilette. Leider nicht ganz unbedeutend. Bitte mal drüber nachdenken, ob man dort nicht etwas neuer, schöner, größer gestalten könnte. Toilette ist Toilette. Aber etwas einladend darf es auch dort sein.

Ich bin öfters mit meiner Freundin dort und bin immer wieder begeistert über die Freundlichkeit mit der man empfangen wird, Preise und Qualität vom Essen einfach nur super. Die Pizza ist super lecker dort 😋. Probiert es aus, ihr werdet nicht enttäuscht sein. 😊

Normal, as one would cook at home, portions are decent to small and VERY, VERY expensive . There's absolutely nothing that could explain the very high prices. On the contrary, I could say easily matched and overtaken by the Kreuzberg joints. Grilled meat was as expected, with my partner's lamb skewer very nicely cooked, soft and tender; the side potatoes were dry and not as enjoyable as the rice. You also get a quarter of a tomato and 3-4cm of a hot green pepper, both grilled; two bites of each. As a side dish you get a mixed salad which is pre-seasoned and, while I enjoyed it, many might not due to a heavy vinaigrette sauce. We took a tarama serving, reminiscent of home made one, which was actually the star of the evening as the main course was nothing special.
Drinks:
Better not take any. At EUR7.5 for a non-name 0.2l glass of wine, EUR7 for a 0.75l bottle of water and EUR3.5 for a 0.2l Coke it's a total rip off. They are focusing at extracting more money form the side attractions while completely forgetting that people come in for the food.
Serving/atmosphere:

We had the disadvantage to sit 2-3m away from the entrance and that somehow ruined our visit. So you get the Kreuzberg service in a 'wanna be' more stylish place at way too high prices.
For Turkish food better go to any joint in Kreuzberg: Hasir and Adana will do just fine. And you won't pay EUR80 for 2.

Sehr luxuriöses Ambiente. Total leckere Vorspeisen. Alles sehr gut gewürzt. Kann man nur empfehlen! Essen kam schnell. Bedienung war super freundlich. Achtung die Vorspeisen sind sehr groß :)
Wir sind mit unseren Gästen um 22 Uhr auf einen Absacker rein. Sehr freundliche Bedienung, leckere Drinks und fingerfood. Es hat uns sehr gefallen, Ambiente sehr schön. Wir kommen gern mal zum Essen wieder.
Auf die Frage nach vegetarischen Gerichten empfahl die sehr freundliche Bedienung die Gemüsepfanne Çiftlik Saç. Diese war ausgesprochen lecker und schon allein Grund für ein nochmaliges Kommen, auch wenn auf der Karte Fleischgerichte im Vordergrund stehen. Die Einrichtung sorgt für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt und zeugt von Liebe zum Detail.
Ein Besuch lohnt sich. Egal ob Essen oder nur Trinken gehen. Wir waren mehrere Stunden dort, weil wir uns wohl gefühlt haben. Gutes Musik. Die Toiletten sind sauber und riechen gut. Ganz nett eingerichtet. Die Bedienung sind freundlich und nicht aufdringlich. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Die Menge hat auch völlig gereicht. Die Preise sind in Ordnung. Schade dass wir den Laden zu spät entdeckt haben. Wir werden aufjedenfall wieder kommen.

Nach uns füllte sich die Lokalität allmählich (Sonntag Nachmittag). Bedienung/Service verliefen flott und reibungslos. Irgendwie herrschte eine lockere Atmosphäre. Vermutlich hat die dazu beigetragen, dass ich immer wieder vergessen habe, die Gerichte vor dem Verzehr zu fotografieren.
Die Speisen schmeckten hervorragend. Auch die Portionen waren so, dass wir die offerierten Windbeutel mit weisser Schokolade nicht mehr schafften. Stattdessen wählten wir zum Nachtisch gemischtes Eis. Das flutscht immer noch runter ;-)
Wer den Ouzu zur Rechnung nicht annehmen kann, weil er/sie noch mit dem Auto fahren muss, erhält ein Ouzu-Bonbon mit auf den Weg.

Simple, delicious and super quick - I had that Shawarma plate with veggies as gluten free option and it was fantastic. If you don't eat large portions, even the basic plate is fine to share for two people - i only finished about half of my portion
Juicy meats and other tasty Turkish dishes. Popular among groups and busy in the evenings. Friendly service and big portions. The breakfast is supposed to be good, too. We’ll try to test it soon 😊
Leckeres Essen, schnelle Bedienung, moderate Preise, netter Service , ein toller sympathischer Chef mit immer guter Laune ;) ich liebe die frischen, knackigen Salate und genieße alles gerne, in den neu gestalteten Räumen oder wir holen das Essen ab .

Wir waren zum ersten Mal dort Essen. Sehr schöne Terrasse, richtig ruhig, so daß man die stark befahrene Straße glatt vergessen kann.
Sehr freundliche und schnelle Bedienung. Das Essen war wirklich sehr gut und alles zu normalen Preisen.

Food is really delicious! Its a bit like arabi food, but you can still point out the differences, and also quite special.
Service is just fine, but for a super busy restaurant, its already good enough.
But please make a reservation before you go there, otherwise it's hard to get a place.
I would like to go there again, thats why I give five starts.

Sehr schmackhaftes Essen. Super lecker. Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Sehr empfehlenswert.
Excellent turkish restaurant with a nice veriety of foods all of what was ordered was top standard, if I want to be picky I would say that only the turkish bread (lavas) was of a lower quality and was a bit soggy.
Starters and main course were top notch and I ordered two desserts and both were fantastic, I really liked revani which in my country usually made only with samolina giving it a coarse taste, but they apparently used finer grain samolina mixed with normal flour which along with sugar syrup give it the melt in your mouth effect.

Ein super Restaurant, die Ambiente stimmt, die Kellner sind freundlich und schnell. Das Essen kam in großen Portionen und schmeckt sehr gut.
Nachtrag: Auch noch zwei Jahre später ist das Essen Mega gut. Die Kellner zuvorkommend, besonders diskret und super freundlich. Und heut zu Tage gibt es sogar Kartenzahlung. Einfach nur toll.

Die Spaghetti mit Muscheln waren der absolute Hit! Super lecker! Herzlichen Dank, so lecker hatte ich sie schon lange nicht mehr! Kann man nur weiterempfehlen!

Stylish and super delicious Turkish restaurant. Quite expensive, but absolutely worth the money. Five stars!
Knowing the quality of Turkish restaurants I was a bit disappointed to be honest. The place itself was very nice and cozy and I could recommend for personal or business lunch. The service and the personal are quite nice and welcoming. As we were a group of six we did make a reservation. So I loved the dippings and the entry stuff and specially the bread 🤤 but then I ordered for the main dish a mixed grill plate but the taste and quality of the dish was so poor, not mentioning the the very small portion specially when you consider the price. I would expect such a chic place to be expensive but I will also expect a quality that goes with it.
Restaurant with a terrace on an otherwise quiet street. Seems to fill up at peak times, thus a reservation may be ideal. We tried several vegetable and meat dishes during a Berlin city break and we felt the need to come back for more before we returned. Very friendly staff and nice atmosphere (in a Mediterranean way). Lovely deserts too, I can totally recommend the Künefe.
