Amazing plaza where you can enjoy a glass of wine and beer with locals. The neighborhood is beautiful and full of small palaces. A lot of history around. Stunning sunset view from Lisbon without the tourist crowds.
This is an average botanical garden. A lot of it needed better maintenance and upkeep. There are a lot of peacocks around, and some impressively large cacti and Turks Caps.

*If you do decide to go here, the best section of the garden is the East and North East area. There are some abandoned structures and impressive flora.
I went there with friends and it was amazing, I've never been there and since I arrived there I fell in love. Stunning view! ✨

A picture perfect place to relax and enjoy the views. Need a place to sit? No problem, there are seats everywhere and the grass if you need to ground yourself!
I went to this Tropical Botanical Garden in Lisbon on a weekday (Wednesday). I went in the afternoon at 18:00 and there was no queue, the tickets were only 5 Euros and it was a very pleasant walk inside. The gardens were much bigger than I thought, lots of different species of trees and plants to look at. As well as a variety of wildlife around all areas of the park. A bit I was surprised about was an oriental garden section, where there were many various small paths to take and explore. I would highly recommend coming here, it is a beautiful and well kept garden. You can spend as long as you want in here. I went on a Wednesday after 18:00 and on that day it closed at 20:00, so you have plenty of time to walk around and explore when there is still ample amounts of daylight/sunshine. There is also a section where there is a small manor, with a small bush maze to have a wander around. Lovely activity on a day with good weather.
This is your little tropical oasis in the heart of Lisbon. I visited on museum day so entry was free, and, it’s quite large you can easily spend an hour or two exploring the beautiful greenery and historical architecture in the garden. There are also many peacocks that seem to be very used to people as they don’t shy away and have a more curious behaviour to them.
Amazing. We visited 3 botanical gardens on our trip to lisbon and this one was by far the best. It is beautiful. €5 is well worth it. So much to see. Lots of peacocks, ducks and a couple of cats.
If the garden were better maintained, it would indeed be a truly fascinating and beautiful place to visit. Currently, most of the buildings (if not all) are under construction, but it seems that little progress has been made. Some paths are littered with old leaves and twigs, and some plants even grow through the benches. The gardens appear abandoned and dry, lacking the lushness one would expect from a tropical botanical garden. However, the presence of wandering peacocks and exotic plants adds a positive note and the place serves as a good escape from the crowds.

One of my favorite Parks in Lisboa. However, it closes around 8pm which can be annoying sometimes if you want to watch the sunset !
Marina , Centre commercial immense magnifique. 👍👍👍
Picturesque local park in Belem close to everything.
Tropical Botanical garden hits all points I generally like in botanical gardens, really beautiful and well-cared for. It is a short walk from Jeronimos Monastery that is one of the most popular Lisbon tourist attractions. Compact size allows to explore gardens under one hour. Highly recommended if you are in the area in a good weather.
Enjoyed this peaceful and beautiful garden so much. Love to see so many peacocks and birds presents. We spent about 2 hours there and It’s absolutely worth it to visit if you are in Belém.
I accidentally stumbled upon this garden but it was a great find. Rich with plants and animals (lots of peacocks), as well as different buildings filled with history.

I can only imagine how beautiful the place is when everything has bloomed.
I spend lots of time here. because of calm, quiet, and neatness. Recommended one.

Immer wieder gern

One of my favourite viewpoints in Lisbon. Only bad thing is that they come and close it at 20.00. But otherwise it has a very nice vibe, people are getting together ans sitting on the grass, watching the beautiful city below. Perfect for a date or to have some drinks with friends during good weather.
Prachtig park. Met parkeerplaats. Lekker even zitten genieten op een bankje.
Awesome selfies point. 😊
