Had a voucher from The Indytute. 3 courses and cocktails. Set menu but several choices for each course and absolutely delicious. Lovely attentive staff. Highly recommended

Ordered for take away. £27 for nan bread lamb pasanda and a starter of 2 cubes of chicken and 2 cubes of lamb. The lamb pasanda consisted of 6 cubes of lamb that it was easy to see had not been cooked in the sauce ..this resulted in a watery tasteless yellowish sauce with rubbery pieces of lamb floating. At that price I would call that UNACCEPTABLE...first and LAST TIME
Excellent, tasty food. Promptly delivered and extremely well priced. Almost don't want to post this review, just in case I can never get a delivery again after more people try them, theyll be too busy. 🙃

How this place hasn’t been closed down I don’t know. Rice was cold. Everything else is swimming in oil. I doubt anyone has the basic food and hygiene certificate. Lamb could have been anything. Probably the worst food I’ve ever had, and I’ve travelled the world
Went for a surprise birthday dinner. It was amazing located behind some big name shops, it was still in a very nice spot.

When walking in was greatly with a smile and not someone in your face, we also didn't want to sit near loads of people and they was able to accommodate this.

Serve was brilliant not on top of us and was very helpful.

Food was lovely I didn't know what I was expecting but the lamb was well cooked needed to be season but the sauce helped the lamb have a bit of taste. Veg was very small. Rice was a surprise it looked small but was enough for the dinner. Our waitre also was able to help us with any questions we had and was very confident in when he answered.
Afters was amazing
The birthday surprise cake was so beautiful

We was the last to leave the restaurant and we wasn't rushed out we was able to take our time and finish our drinks.

Yes I would go again as a treat ❤️

Thank you

Ordered a simple and tikka masala, rice and naan thinking what could go wrong? The tikka masala was a strange colour and smell and didn’t taste right at all. The naan was really dry and hard to chew. So sad :(

The chicken Biriyani meals used to be of high quality but now too much salt has overpowered this particular meal which ruined the taste considering how much they are each one is now £12.95 and have gone up in price I would of expected better. spent over £30 and couldn't eat them because the salt taste made the meal impossible to eat. Poppadom's were 60p last year now have gone up to 95p in price I presume this is why there is a 20% off deliveries when you spend over £20. Very disappointed
Absolutely delicious! The flavors of the dishes at Jaipur are outstanding. Each bite was a burst of authentic Indian spices. Highly recommend!
Authentic Indian experience! I’ve been on the hunt for authentic Indian food since I’ve moved to the area and Jaipur South Woodford truly captures the essence of Indian cuisine. From the aromatic curries to the freshly baked naan, every dish was a delight. A must visit for Indian food lovers like me😊
I must say impressive service. The staff at Jaipur went above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience for our occasion. I’d particularly recommend the butter chicken and chicken tikka👌
Great vegetarian options. As a vegetarian, I was delighted to find a wide variety of delicious vegetarian dishes at this restaurant. The flavors were amazing, and the service was excellent as always.
Perfect for a family dinner! Always a wonderful experience at Jaipur. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The food is flavorful and perfect for a family dinner.

Delicious Indian food with a good selection of vegetarian options. Service was very good even for a table of 11 of us on a Saturday night, staff were welcoming and food came quickly. Lovely atmosphere. Would recommend.
The new interior layout is very modern and cool. The service is on point, polite and attentive.

The food took a little time to arrive but it was all cooked fresh and worth the wait.

6 people with drinks just shy of £100 great value.

A steadfast character of Clapham High Street.

Thank you
Just been today for lunch with a friend. First time at the restaurant and definitely not the last! Right on my list of my top faves restaurants!
Food was divine! Atmosphere was great, service was excellent!
A special thank you to Rejab, who took care of us!
Lovely place, always nice food. It is a little small, but nice atmosphere. Such a luxury that you can bring your own booze,
Was 1000% amazing we had an alcohol free night starters main and dessert plus soft drinks only £70 was perfect we will be back service was lovely so friendly and fast food was out quick was the perfect romantic night out ❤️

I had their Chicken Tikka Zali Masala, pilau rice, onion bhaji and naan bread the other Friday and it was so good I kept thinking about it every day. I love this place
Excellent!
The best Indian food in London! 🥇
Everything is very delicious and a lot of variety. The price is cheap and the food is of excellent quality.
I recommend it!

We liked it! Traveling from the U.S., we searched for the British's national dish, and we were pleased.
In my view, this is actually a Bangladeshi restaurant that also serves Indian-style food.

Staff were really friendly, most of the food was delicious. The starter, king prawn butterfly was a real miss for me. It does cater well for vegetarians and it serves alcohol-free beer, which is a great bonus.

It’s a personal taste, but we both definitely preferred the old Indian “curry house” red decor and atmosphere before the renovations and the size reduction.

Nevertheless we had a great evening, we enjoyed the food, and we will be back.
I've been visiting this restaurant for more than ten years and have consistently enjoyed delicious meals, which leaves me utterly perplexed by some of the negative reviews.

Myself and a group of our friends have participated in a "curry club" for many years, dining across the country, yet we frequently return here as one of our favourites.

I highly recommend the Lamb Pathia. In my humble opinion, like any Indian restaurant, it's better to dine in than take away.
I’ve just had a delicious meal. I was a solo diner the waiter made me feel very welcome and comfortable, thank you. Food was served in good time and didn’t feel rushed at all. I will definitely be back. 👩🏻‍🦰👍🏼

Found the food to be mediocre. The waiter seemed annoyed at our questions about vegan options. Papadams and sauces were good and plentiful.
Had an excellent time at Maharani. The service was fantastic. Very attentive staff who helped answer any questions we had about the menu items. The food itself was unbelievable. Easily the best Indian restaurant in Clapham, if not London. Would highly recommend
We went for a birthday withe as the lone vegan. They customized the menu and gave me only vegan items. Lost one star cause some naan or roti would have been good with the black gram dal and alu goni dishes, they said we had to order it separately even though we were getting the 9 item vegetarian TASTING mENU

I wonder if they have changed the chef - this used to be quite a good restaurant but our meal tonight was exceptionally bland and oily.

Fresh, authentic and flavorful Indian cuisine.
Great menu with quite a diverse offering.
Lots of vegetarian options, as well.

Definitely will go back!
I always come to this lovely restaurant in Clapham. They remember me and we have a good laugh. The food is delicious and since they changed the layout it’s very cosy. The dishes are amazing and I recommend the prawn puri!
This is a really great indian food restaurant, I have been coming on & off since the 1990s. I have been eating 'Indian' vegetarian (mainly Bangladeshi) food since I was a child in the 1970s; I am very fussy about food quality and taste and this is one of my 4 favourite in London. The service is very good too and the owner or his son is often there when I go and is very friendly too. Sometimes the food takes a while to come but I always find its well worth the wait! A friend I sometimes come with likes this place a lot too.

The food is good but it’s unnecessarily and insanely oily. I don’t geddit. Indian food does not have to be THAT oily. Such a waste. The rice - nice but oily. The chicken jalfrezi - OK but bathed in 2 litres of oil. Why?! A few small changes and it would be so much better. I doubt they’re checking reviews but I sincerely hope they do.
To be fair the food didn't taste bad. But we purchased the bottomless package specifically for the choice of drinks. When we got there they said the advertised package was incorrect. Management are aware of the false adverting and did not fulfill the service as purchased. I don't know when they will update the package online, they didn't seem concerned that their website is outdated. One star for not receiving the service purchased and for managements attitude. Wouldn't recommend as who knows what you'll get.

Ordered this on just eat they gave me an extra vegetable soup. Absolutely amazing. This is the best food of my life. And I’ve traveled the world. Would more than recommend this place
Sat night after Twickenham, 6 persons, lovely welcome, kids love the popaddoms, curries were excellent, chicken danzack, lamb rogan josh, chicken karahi, chicken jalfrasi, chicken tikka buna plus rices and bread bloody wonderful. Will be coming again and we live between Leeds and Bradford in country.
Was pleasantly surprised as a first time visit here. Food tasted great, especially the lamb. Staff were very friendly.

A local Indian with decent food. The food is just above the good level (the sides for the poppadom was a bit too ready made) and nice spices. The service was acceptable and the atmosphere was nice.

We came all the way from other side of London. It’s worth it every single mile. We ordered vegetarian shared platter, butter chicken and chicken chatterny(something like that) , they made also special garlic naan. All of them were sensational 🔥🔥🔥
We really like coming here! The food tastes great with a lot of variety and also some specials that I've not seen at other Indian restaurants. The staff are friendly and the restaurant is comfortable. We recommend!
We went for the Valentine’s menu priced at £55, starters to share, one main, one dessert.
The food was tasty but it’s really small tasting portions. The size of sharing plates would be fine but I’d like bigger mains for that price.

I had to deduct 2 stars because their food, although tasty is swimming in oil. I’ve asked, please drain off the oil, but it still arrives with 1/2 a mug of oil sitting on top, which I have to drain and it’s disgusting. As an Asian I know you can cook Indian food healthily, which uses a minimum amount of oil that doesn’t sit on top of the food. 1/2 a cup of oil in one of those plastic take away boxes is a hell of a lot of oil. In fact the food can actually do backstroke in there, which is ridiculous! When you ask to reduce the oil and they literally ignore you = bad service. Even if the oil is drained and the food is tasty, it’s still a bad experience and is off putting. Even the veg is saturated in oil which is gross. They need to get their cook some lessons in cooking Indian food the healthy way. In fact Madhur Jaffrey published a cook book on the subject so there’s no excuse, apart from them being from P-stsaan and refusing to admit that their food is actually Indian. Some of them be like that ! Init doh !

The server and chef were amazing. We went for a late dinner 30 minutes before closing. The server was very welcoming and we didn’t feel rushed . I expressed my craving for a vada pav. They dont have it on their dinner menu yet they were kind enough to make one for me. It was the most delicious vada pav I have had outside of India. We ordered a variety of naans and my favorites were the cheese chili one and garlic naan. The paneer butter masala was delicious and the dal makhni was heavenly. I highly recommend this place if you are visiting London . The service , cleanliness and quality of food is definitely worth a visit.
Amazing, amazing, amazing!!! I went here yesterday with the family for a celebratory meal. The food was divine as always, and the service was incredible. The staff are really helpful and accommodating, it’s a very nice environment to be in. You will not leave disappointed. Lastly, the prices are really good value for money, it’s not common to find a reasonable priced restaurant during these times however, Jaipur always supports it’s customers!

Lovely last minute meal as visiting the area.
Staff very friendly and good service.
Tasty meal.
Thank you.
Great food, friendly service, relaxed atmosphere. Will return.
Very cool urban style dining. A delightful take of Indian and some East asian street food. Great place for groups, reservations recommended as they to fill up quickly. It's a bit noisy, but in a good way, as it's buzzing with happy people's energy, and the open kitchen atmosphere is charming. Seating can be tight here and there, but I think they are trying to get as many tables in the space. Gluten-free people will be very happy here even those more severely affected. They go above and beyond to ensure food is being handled with special care. Highly recommend worth every penny!
We loved coming here: very good flavours, also for kids, very good service, good suggestions and good to know that the cook had lived in Lavapiés! 😉👍🏼 We'll come back in our next time in London
I mean the food was good but I wasn’t able to enjoy the full dish cause I went to restroom and half of my dish was gone afterwards cause they stressed so much.
Has the potential to be alright, place itself seemed clean enough and the gents serving were friendly. The food just lacked everything. Flavour, spice the lot. Felt like it had been thrown together/microwaved out the back. Flavourless
So delicious food! Plenty of alcohol options! Stuff will do everything to make you feel comfortable and happy! Definitely we will come back!

A friend and I enjoyed a really nice evening here - easy to book, yummy food and great service. Only a short walk from Clapham Junction station. Many thanks!
We visited Saturday for lunch, pretty busy so you might want to book it. Food is good.
The lamb was tender and the samosas were very nice. Hummus was average, the was barely any feta cheese on top as per description and it was very bland.
Dog friendly. I would definitely recommend to avoid the cocktails as they are pretty average. Overall a good experience.

A quite cozy place that serves nice Indian delicacies! The staff is extremely hospitable! I had a samosa chat, panner tikka masala, perhaps, and naan, and it was quite yummy. I eagerly look forward to trying chicken dishes out here!

The restaurant is located in Lambeth. The place is clean and hygienic. Mr Chris, the hotel manager is very courteous. The hotel is owned by Indian chef Mr Ajay; and we could taste his efforts in delivering genuine Indian taste across the shores in plates here in London.
Exceptional training given to the team.
Worth visiting for enjoying the spices and flavor of Indian food. And not any pseudo Indian preparation.
Absolutely brilliant. Delicious food. Fabulous wine. Awesome ambience and unbelievably friendly and courteous - not to mention unfeasibly good looking - staff! Special mention to *Nubia (sp) who totally made our night. Would 100 percent recommend.
Tried to get a variety of dishes and generally enjoyed the food, particularly the roti canai. Unfortunately had to pull down the rating as my nasi goreng had a hair. However, the dealt with it super professionally and no arguments with apologies and taken off service. It was a shame because the quality of food was nice alongside the decor and feel.

Way too slow (45mins) for three of us just having mains in a nearly empty restaurant. Menu didn't match with dishes at all. Ordered lamb sizzler but had to point out that it was supposed to come with a sauce. Meat v poor quality. Butter chicken was flavourless. Aloo Gobi undercooked. Disappointing ! Hard to believe all the 5* reviews are genuine.
