One of the best value for money restaurants in Paris for desi food. Probably the only place where one can find good mutton.
Great place !!! Food is amazing great service
I don't know how people make negative comments. Seriously this is one of the best restaurant I visited in recent time and this is the real Indian food I recommend 100%. And yes food is little bit spicy but customers can command for no spicy then everything is fine. Service I give 5* as I observed. Obviously food take some time to prepare. Overall this place become my best in my bucket list. Please visit 🙏 and order as you and preferences. Thank you
Fantastic food! We order spicier meal and less spicy meal and got exactly what we wanted. The service was a bit hectic.

I am an Indian living in UK. This is the worst possible tasting food I had in my entire life. When I shared this feedback with a waiter, she said I know and laughed. If this is the last restaurant on earth, I would like to die hungry!!
We had a Sunday lunch among friends in this typical Indian restaurant. It was suggested by an Indian friend and it did not disappoint. Food was delicious (although I am not familiar with Indian food). Service kind and prompt. Price for the menu is quite low so I am happy to recommend it.
This restaurant experience was incredible, so cheap, and the service was incredible! The servers helped us try so many new things, and the portions were very generous and delicious. I highly recommend!
It was one of the best Indian restaurants in Paris. The portion of the dish is very good and its taste is just like the one in India! We were received by very welcoming statt as well. We would like to go back again.

REASON -They misuse Krishna’s photo use as a table cover & Custmer put food plate on photos and after that staff cleaning photos with bad cloth. I let them please use photos like that. They said this our decision after we not order anything from there.

Dans mon top 3 des meilleurs restau indiens testés dans ma vie, en région parisienne (et j’en ai testé beaucoup). Ici, on mange l’Inde, dans son plus traditionnel appareil. Tout est savoureux, bien cuisiné, bien relevé. Si vous n’aimez pas trop piquant vous pouvez le mentionner, mais attendez vous tout de même a des saveurs parfumées. Je recommande le Thali, et sa farandole de petits accompagnements, ou encore le Dosa Masai, énorme crêpe servie avec des condiments. Le personnel est gentil et attentionné, et l’endroit est familial. Les prix très abordables. Je reviendrai, c’est certain.
Ordered mutton biryani at this restaurant and the food was below average, there was little amount of meat and just bones mixed up with rice. Dish seemed over oiled to cover up spices. Serving old food to customers and microwaving every possible thing. Don’t go and waste money. Environment is not at all customer friendly
NAME " Pondicherry "attracts Indian, pondicherry and TamilNadu people to go to the restaurant.
But i hope this Hotel was not run by Indian people.... by tasting the foods... High color coated chickens...

Food was amazing. Must try veg samosa , chicken tandoori and dum biryani.. size of samosa and taste was very good. Dum buryani was full of authentic masalas. Also tried normal chicken biryani but i didnt like it. Person serving food seems like rude. They do not provide boxpack for home delivery. They put tandoori chicken and samosas in paper bag, which soaks all oil. Overall food was good with authentic taste. Naan and chicken curry was also amazing. The food was hygenic, no stomach ache after eating :D

We had Chicken and Mutton biryani with mutton Chuka. All are in authentic taste.
My 5 year old daughter liked the chicken 65 starter and Chicken samosa. Overall we had a nice experience.

Cependant, attention si vous n'êtes pas habitués à la cuisine indienne : certains plats peuvent être très piquants ! N'hésitez pas à demander conseil au personnel, qui est toujours de bon conseil et saura vous orienter vers des plats adaptés à vos goûts.

I visited your restaurant, and the issue I found unsatisfactory was that you serve food on posters of Lord Shree Krishna, who is a deity in Hinduism. Could you please change those dining papers?
Food is very delicious and service is very good but serving food on *Lord Krishna’s Image* is not good it’s hurts a-lot. It hurt sentiments of Hindu religion. Please it’s humble request to you don’t serve food on such print.
10/10 Went there a couple of times already and loved it each time. The food is great, you're well-fed, the flavors are authentic and the service is very good. I had the biryani, the lamb massala, the mango lassi and the chicken tandoori and all of them were delicious! Definitely recommend !!
Found by random, but how lucky. Super friendly, fabulous food and live Pakistani music. It was the best evening of our four night stay in Paris. Highly recommend.

Good Indian food, authentic spices and good service. Told them we were vegan and they helped and made sure everything was plant based. Strongly recommend for vegans in transit from Garde du Nord!

Peu de personnel pour acceuiilir. Le service est lent, très lent. Le personnel n'écoute pas sérieusement votre commande. Ils se trompent de boisson et vous demandent de le prendre sous prétexte qu'ils l'ont déja préparé.
La serveuse accepte une commande et dit que nous aurons 20 minutes d'attente, au bout d'une heure... Aucune nouvelle.
La personne qui nettoie les tables glisse tout sur les sièges à proximité.
La nourriture n'est pas exceptionnelle.
Ce n'est pas grave de dire que vous allez mettre plus de temps pour préparer une commande. Le client peut comprendre.
Vous pouvez mieux faire sur tous les axes.

Worst customer service ever. There is no heating system in the restaurant inside, which was ice cold. The Bengali guy with a scarf needs training how to deal with customers. Dirty filthy washroom and inc cold inside. The employees in restaurants do not care about restaurant.

We ordered chicken biryani, lamb biryani, and mango lassi. All of them were good. I love that it was “real” spicy. The people were also nice there. They even offered a free tea, even though we had to reject it because we had to go soon.
I love this restaurant every time I go. U guys can try Pakistani foods all the time. It's always delicious. They have a lot of varieties. Tried mutton briyani, felt like plain jeerga samba rice. Added mutton pieces. Chicken varuval taste average no salt no taste.. mutton gravy was OK, taste. But paneer gravy is dominating ginger garlic paste only. I left the paneer gravy as it is.. defiantly not like other places. California thalapakati was way better then this location

Very high price. In la chappal from other shops 20 STRING HOPPERS just 6€ with sothi sambal. ( take a way) . But here 11€ 😇 . Its toooo much
It's among the hidden gems of Paris, the food was great and the service was nice...I took the picture of the dessert because the main dish was too good ( Thali Yasmin) and didn't waste time looking at it...just nice
Great service and customer care, they made my food experience so much more enjoyable by accommodating my requests and delivering great results. I'll definitely be going back. I've not had better service in my 6 years in France!
Avant c'était mon resto indien préféré, mais pour mes 2 dernières fois j'étais très déçu. Il y a 2 mois, j'avais pris a emporter et j'ai trouvé que la qualité était en baisse, surtout les poulets 65. J'ai trouvé que les portions de viandes sont avec des gros morceaux d'os maintenant et en plus ils se sont trompé sur commande.
Et là, j'ai décidé de manger sur place pour l'ouverture du midi et l'attente était énorme : 45min pour juste mon plat. J'étais le 1er arrivé et d'autres étaient servit avant moi.. je n'y retournerais plus.

Went here twice during a recent visit to Paris. Service is very friendly and personalized. Food is very good though it stops short of excellent. Spice level is on the mild side. Desserts are very good. Live music. Pricing is on the higher side for the area.
Been here a couple times and it’s great. The service staff is super friendly and caring. Ensure you’re well fed. The food is fantastic. I really enjoyed the mixte grillé. Their meat is always super tender. Palak paneer usually a go to, but this one had very little paneer, was mostly just spinach. Everything else the naan, butter chicken, and poulet vindaloo was great too.. compared to most places it’s very well price for the qty and quality of food…would recommend and definitely will be back

Sehr leckere und authentische indische Küche. Wir mussten Umstiegszeit in Paris überbrücken und wurden sehr flott bedient, das Essen war innerhalb von Minuten fertig. Unsere Koffer konnten wir derweil neben dem Tisch abstellen.

A quick stop place to grab some meals at cheap rates. Can't expect ambience and service to be top notch. End of the day, what you pay is what you get.
Hare Krishna 🙌🌹 After the pizza debacle après déjeuner, I was very hungry. Needed some real nourishment. Used Google and found this. I walked for a while afterwards, my evening meal is usually soup. Delicious everything ❤️ Lovely little place at 25 Rue Galande, run by two equally lovely women.

Les prix ont beaucoup augmenté et la qualité pas vraiment, souvent des maux de ventre (beaucoup de passage aux wc) après leurs repas. Je pense pas que j'y retournerai. Avant c'était intéressant pour le rapport quantité/prix mais plus maintenant. Une entrée chicken 65 à 10e c'est énorme et un lassi mangue à 5.50e aussi.

Excellent endroit pour manger indien. C'est mon frère qui me l'a fait découvrir il y a environ 15 ans. Le Pondichery est mon restaurant indien préféré depuis que je l'ai découvert. De passage dans la région parisienne (je suis Stéphanoise), j'ai fait deux fois un détour dans ce restaurant pour bien évidemment me régaler. Je me fais plaisir à chaque fois. J'ai mangé sur place et j'ai également pris à emporter!

l'un des meilleurs biriyani de Paris ! Le goût du biriyani est exactement similaire à celui du biriyani authentique que l'on trouve en Inde. J'ai commandé du mouton biriyani, il est venu rapidement en 10 minutes. le riz basmati était bien parfumé et mariné, le mouton était bien cuit et en bonne quantité. avec le biriyani, ils ont fourni du raitha (yaourt mélangé à de la salade) + du chutney de aubergine (comme des cornichons), de la sauce au curry et un morceau de poulet 65 (poulet frit mariné aux épices indiennes). Le prix était très raisonnable, le service était excellent, la nourriture était chaleureuse et authentique, à quoi d'autre pouvons-nous nous attendre, un parfait 10/10. C'était tellement délicieux que j'ai pris un biriyani à emporter pour le dîner. Je recommande vivement à tout le monde de goûter leur biriyani et si vous visitez paris et que vous ne l'avez pas goûté, vous manquerez le meilleur biriyani de la ville.

Une carte avec beaucoup de plat et deux menu à 14 (végétarien) et 16 euros (classique). Pour ma part, j'ai pris à la carte, service rapide et très copieux, par contre un peu déçu sur les senteurs et le goût, on ne retrouve pas les arômes de l'Inde.
Je n'ai pas mis quatre étoiles, à cause du serveur, il fait son job, mais il pourrait être plus agréable et arrêter de distribuer les plats avec dédain.

€14 for Thali. Food was stale, unsavoury. Cheap ingredients which most probably cooked a while ago & frozen. I couldn’t finish even half as you can see in last picture. From the taste of bland spices, its Not an authentic Indian restaurant. I would avoid it.

Ce restaurant est parfait si vous voulez manger un repas de qualité et pas cher. Le personnel est agréable, surtout le propriétaire qui n'hésite pas à chouchouter ses clients. C'est très proche de la sortie de gare et j'y vais souvent lorsque je suis de passage. Allez-y les yeux fermés !!
Tolles, vegetarisches Essen, welches ich genau so auch in Indien gegessen habe. Mushrooms Manchurian sind einfach super lecker! Der Service ist freundlich und die Preise absolut in Ordnung. Viele Einheimische scheinen hier zu speisen, was bestimmt ein Qualitätsmerkmal ist. Totale Empfehlung!

Mijn meest favoriete indiase restaurant in parijs. Super vriendelijke en vlotte personeel. Het eten is overheerlijk met een meer dan goede prijs. Lekker authentiek indiaas eten, de lekkerste cocktails en geweldig lekkere desserts. Het is binnen op etenstijd druk maar gezellig. Niet te groot niet kleine restaurant. Geen onnodige decoratie. Simpel maar niet chic. Heel informeel maar geen snackbar gevoel. Enige minpunt is dat ze naar mijn gevoel wel wat vroeg dicht gaan. Maar zeer zeker een top restaurant en echt een aanrader!
