Nice terrace to sit outside by the street in the sun. Tasty drinks to go with the food, service was quick and friendly. The food was very tasty and the one complaint I have is that it could've been more.
The Curry Gossip & Taqdees and Moin far exceeded my expectations! I wasn’t sure what to expect and I was blown away by so many different aspects - the food, the conversation, the friendliness, and the hospitality! From the moment we stepped in the door we felt loved! I have a dairy intolerance and Taqdees was so accommodating and made a delicious dairy free dessert!
I found myself jaw dropped every time I took a bite of the food! So much flavor and so delicious!
I highly recommend this experience! I will be telling so many friends in the States that this was one of my highlights from our trip!

We had a wonderful experience in Taqdees & Moin’s lovely home! The food was absolutley delicious and reflected the warmth and kindness of our hosts! A delightful evening with fun stories, trying out new dishes and learning new things.

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Taj Mahal Restaurant in The Hague, and we cannot praise the experience enough. From the moment we walked through the door (for many years now), we were always greeted with warmth and hospitality.

Heerlijk gegeten met mijn vriend. We hebben het buffet concept gekozen en de prijs kwaliteit verhouding zit hier echt goed. De service was ook super. Perfecte date voor een casual gelegenheid.
One of the worst place. Paid 20 euros for a lamb biriyani for a small plate of serving , where they charge extra for raita too . Poor hospitality. Food was bad too
Heerlijk gegeten bij het buffet genoeg keus. Deze werd constant bij gevuld. Rijst, Naan’s , kip, lams en groente.

Verrassend goed. 1,5 lt Spa blauw voor naar €5,75 het buffet kostte maar €20,50.

Het eten was heerlijk. Voor de butter chicken is een echte aanrader. Verder was het personeel heel erg vriendelijk.
Food was great, authentic Indian food just like home. Tables are a bit too close together, feels cramped. Toilets need to be cleaned and there was no soap
Net eten opgehaald bij de wel bekende Lasanie in Den Haag, wat is de bediening supper vriendelijke en profosionele ik raad een ieder aan om hier zeker een keer te komen en te gaan genieten van de culunier smaken die smelten in u mond, snap niet hoe mensen 1 ster kunnen geven, ze houden overal rekening mee ook voor de vegetarische mensen. Ik bedank jullie voor de lekkere eten en u zult ons snel weer zien, Bedankt voor de lekkere kopje thee tijdens het wachten.

We went here the other evening (party of nine).
The waiter was complaining that we hadn't ordered enough food, bearing in mind 3 members of our party were children so we weren't going to order a curry each. He said he could have let our table go to a party that might have spent more money.
Food was below average, tough chicken.
They refused to give us tap water. Bottled water was 7 euro per bottle!
Pickle tray was diabolical, just mango chutney and some other average condiment.
In conclusion, waste of money, rude staff which spoilt our family meal & terrible food and slow service.

We are yet to figure, in what world Korma is served in Yellow Color.

Our hearts and stomachs are filled after this truly beautiful evening. Thank you Taqdees and Mohin for the lovely atmosphere you created in your home for us and of course the absolutely amazing food. It was inspiring to hear about the stories behind the food and the restaurant. We highly recommend!
We had an amazing time at taqdees and moin’s house. I had never done a private dinner experience, but absolutely loved it. The food was incredible and we had nice conversations with our hosts. It was very intimate and you could taste the time and love that was put into the food. Would highly recommend!
The food was ok but really nothing special. The Biryani could have benefited from a yoghurt sauce or similar. And in general the price for 2 (!) samosas and vegetable rice was way too high with 20€ for both.
Brilliant Indian restaurant serving dishes that are beautifully spiced and had great heat. The staff were so warm and welcoming, it was a lovely evening and we will definitely be back.

Overheerlijk diner bij Taqdees Syed thuis. Het diner wordt aangepast aan je voorkeuren. Zeer goede kwaliteit eten en twee fantastische mensen die je graag een thuisbeleving verzorgen in eigen keuken! Zeker een aanrader!!
Eten is altijd overheerlijk, service is uitstekend en Amina zorgt altijd goed voor haar klanten. Wij komen graag hier eten, niet alleen omdat de eten zo lekker is maar ook omdat wij altijd zo goed ontvangen worden. Ik ben nog nooit teleurgesteld hier. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding is ook perfect!! K
Heel lekker eten. Ze maken het ook extra spicy als je erom vraagt. Eigenaresse is een supervriendelijk vrouw die ook een praatje maakt en haar klanten kent.
Value for money, onze buitenlandse gasten uit Engeland waren erg onder de indruk van de smaak in dit restaurant.

We ordered butter chicken, chicken madras and naan. It was all very delicious. The chicken madras was a bit spicier than we expected, but the flavor was good. I would definitely visit again.
Wij hebben gisteren een grote bestelling geplaatst. De telefoniste is vriendelijk aan de telefoon. Toen we daar waren werden we goed ontvangen. Moest wel wat langer wachten, maar kwam omdat ze bezit was met andere klanten.
Wanneer ze kwam was ze erg vriendelijk. We kregen ook extra eten mee omdat wij een grote bestelling hadden geplaatst.
Vervolgens hebben we thuis gegeten. Het eten was verrukkelijk heerlijk! Dat kan ik echt niet zeggen over bepaalde plaatsen. Wij halen vaker eten bij delhi darbar. Iedere keer vinden wij allemaal het zo lekker. Het eten is wel aan de prijzige kant, maar het is het echt waard!

Starters - focused on street food including samosa, pani Puri (which was an explosion of flavors) and Kadri paneer with capsicum and onions.
Main course - kofta curry (called it the Indian bitten ballen🤣), bhindi or okra an unusual flavorful veg curry, biryani, and assortment of fresh breads/nans/rotis.
Dessert - gulab jamun and rasmali - probably an overkill.
PS those who are reluctant to venture may want to explore the weekend all-you-eat (try) setup to explore a broad set of options.
All in all a wonderful evening with very hospitable serving team.
The resturant is clean but the decor is pretty basic - cafeteria style. Sprucing up the interior to compliment the flavorful food would make it a full 5/5 experience!

Best Indian food in Netherlands. If you are searching for authentic Indian food then this is your stop. We ordered Tandoori , Lamb Rogan Josh, Chicken Biryani, Salads, Kulfi. Each and every item was lip smacking good. Its located in Den Haag .
The next best thing is their hospitality. Each and everyone tries their best to make you feel at home. I would specially mention Rana Bhaiya. He was like a cherry on the top. His behaviour and hospitality is impeccable. Whenever we crave for Indian food this is where we would visit everytime.

It was a truly amazing experience. The hosts welcomed us warmly and were very accommodating throughout the entire evening. They provided my mother and I with thorough explanations about the food they served us and its origins, which was a nice touch. The food itself was indeed some of the best Indian food I have ever had. To put things into perspective it’s a whole another league when compared to any Indian restaurant here. Drinks were on the house which I really appreciated. All in all, I totally recommend this to anyone that likes Indian food or wants to try the real authentic stuff.
If we could give 6 stars we would... The food was fresh and amazing! Service was very nice and super friendly. They do hands down deserve the title of one of the best in the hague. Will definitely visit again.

After having discovered Taqdees' restaurant at home during a local food tour, we came back for the full dinner experience and were not disappointed!
We were served different authentic dishes, that were all freshly prepared. You could see and taste the effort she put in it (also to accomodare possible allergies), and we enjoyed this culinary experience and the stories in the presence of her and the husband.
Apparently it's also an option to have take-away food, so we'll definitely pass by again some time! Thanks!

Blikje bonduelle doperwten met worteltjes en potje hak spinazie open trekken. Beetje verdunde tomatensalsa met kruiden. Slappe taaie naan broden. Afdekken. 5 minuten magnetron. €70 terug in het plastiek bezorg tasje.
The staff are friendly. The food was okay, some of the dishes were tasty, while others tasted bland with not much flavor. The atmosphere was fine, but the music was a bit too loud at certain point. Overall, the experience was fine. The management and kitchen are new. I would give it another try in the future because they may improve with feedback.

Bij de chicken biryani & bij de chicken tandoori zit bloemkool, wortel, sperziebonen & sla 😂, ja ja het is traditioneel klaargemaakt.
Eten was flauw, had er meer van verwacht na de reviews maar heb verder gekeken & zaten ook veel slechte recensies tussen.
Het was geen originele Biryani & Tandoori maar ‘n replica, voor mij nooit meer.

We had the opportunity to sit down at Taqdees and Moin's table to be served a homemade Indian meal. It was more than delicious, it was inspiring! It is so evident that Taqdees puts her soul into her cooking, and her husband joins in the conversation and hospitality. They are a true team that invites you to enjoy not only food from their culture, but their culture itself. If you are looking for homemade (and I mean literally made in-the-home!), this is a must. You will walk away with full bellies and new friends! Thank you Curry Gossip, I'll be back!
Excellent food, generous portions, very attentive and friendly service and an overall outstanding good experience. We are happy that we found that place to eat dinner! Highly recommended and we would definitely go again.

Très bon restaurant pakistanais situé à proximité du centre de La Haye avec un service aggreable et des plats délicieux et copieux pour des prix intéressants

Went with team members, ambience just ok, starter- all gravies are same no difference I'd you order veg or non veg, too much oil. Just ok..main courses nothing great, Drinks options very limited, only one beer.. No vodka.. 🤣, you can have other Indian restaurant near by. I can prefer other options and can give miss to this one
Eén van de betere Indiase restaurants, lekker en betaalbaar. Personeel is vriendelijk, aankleding mag wel wat moderner.

Quick visit whilst I was in area for work. Friendly staff and clean tables and chairs. Food was great, with no issues at all. Found it expensive then a usual Indian that's my only criticism. Everything else ok and no issues.
